Red Rock Ponds RV Resort

Campground Rules

The following rules apply within the campground premises for all types of stays.

ETIQUETTE – Observe good camping etiquette; be respectful of nature and communal spaces, be considerate of noise, respect others’ privacy and space (and do not walk through campsites), be mindful of light pollution and others’ safety. Be a part of what makes camping a peaceful and relaxing experience!

SPEED LIMIT – The speed limit is 5 MPH, including golf carts. We will enforce this rule for you and any visitors you have. Please watch out for children. Safety first!

QUIET HOURS – Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. No loud voices or music are permitted during quiet hours.

CHECK IN/OUT – 1:00PM and 11AM. Early check in or late check out available for additional fee.

CAMPFIRES – Campfires are permitted only in fire rings or fire pits and must be kept at a manageable size at all times. Never leave a campfire unattended, and ensure it is completely extinguished before leaving or going to sleep. Do not move the fire rings without management approval. Only use locally sourced firewood or firewood sold on-site. Do not burn pallets, treated, or painted wood, as it releases harmful chemicals into the air. Use only seasoned firewood to minimize smoke and ensure a clean burn.

ALCOHOL – Consume alcohol responsibly. Roaming the grounds with alcohol is discouraged. Underage drinking is prohibited. No foul language or belligerent behavior of any kind will be tolerated.

DRUGS – The possession, distribution, or use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.

CHILDREN – The safety and enjoyment of all children are paramount. Parents or guardians are responsible for the supervision and behavior of their children at all times. Children should not be left unattended, especially near water bodies, playgrounds, or other potentially hazardous areas. Children are prohibited to play in the bathrooms or laundry rooms. Respect quiet hours to ensure children and other campers can rest undisturbed. Motorized vehicles, bicycles, and other recreational equipment should be operated with caution. NYS bicycle laws must be followed; this includes helmet use, safe speeds, and a lighted bicycle after dusk. Parents are responsible for ensuring that their children follow all campground rules and regulations.

TREES – Cutting, nailing decorations, or otherwise causing undue damage to the trees and/or plant life is prohibited. Climbing trees is prohibited. Hammocks or clotheslines cannot be tied to the trees. (free-standing hammocks are permitted).

GOLF CARTS – All golf carts must be electric and registered in the office with an insurance certificate. Only licensed drivers can operate the golf carts. All passengers must remain seated at all times. Children cannot operate a golf cart while sitting on an adult's lap. All carts must be equipped with headlights, which must be turned on at dusk. The 5 MPH speed limit is enforced.

LAUNDRY – Laundry facilities are open 24 hours. Change is available at the office. Clotheslines are not permitted at your site (including using your awning as clotheslines). Do not overload washing machines or dryers. Clean up after yourself and remove your laundry promptly after the cycle is complete. Do not use the washer for items heavily embedded with pet fur.

FIREARMS – For the safety and comfort of all campers, the possession and discharge of firearms are strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to handguns, rifles, shotguns, and air guns.

STAKES – Due to shallow underground utilities, no stakes are to be driven into the ground without prior approval. You are responsible for any ensuing damages and repairs otherwise.

PATIO LIGHTS & BUG LIGHTS – Should be turned off when leaving the RV Resort. Bug lights should be kept at a distance from the RVs on adjoining sites and turned off when retiring for the night. Spotlights are prohibited.

DRONES & UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) – Flying drones and UAVs are prohibited over the campground airspace due to privacy and safety concerns.

CAMPGROUND WIFI – Campground-wide WIFI is provided on a best-effort basis. Coverage may vary between campsites. Use the WIFI ‘Guest’ A bandwidth of 12 Mbps is allocated for each connected device, with no data cap. Destructive network activities such as P2P and Tor are prohibited. Violators will receive a temporary or permanent ban from the network. An integrated interior WIFI repeater is available for purchase. Third-party WIFI repeaters and boosters will likely cause network disruption and will result in a permanent ban upon detection. You are responsible for your guests’ network activities under the same login.

CANCELLATION/EARLY DEPARTURE – Reservation cannot be cancelled once checked in (online, in person or by physically occupying a campsite). No refunds for early departure.

Extended Stay Rules

The following rules apply to extended stay camping, defined as any stay lasting a minimum of 7 days.

OCCUPANCY – Weekly and monthly rates cover two (2) adults and up to three (3) children or grandchildren under 18. If additional guests do not meet these criteria, there is a fee of $25 per week or $50 per month per person. The maximum occupancy per site is six (6) people, with no more than four (4) adults.

SITE ASSIGNMENT & SUBLETTING – This licensing is solely between the weekly and monthly camper(s) and Red Rock Ponds RV Resort. Campers may not allow others to use their site when they are not present. If a family member wishes to use your RV in your absence, a site fee of $50.00 per night applies. If you vacate the site before the end of your reservation, it will be forfeited back to Red Rock Ponds RV Resort with no refund of any payments made.

MAINTENANCE – Weekly and monthly campers are required to keep their site clean and uncluttered. Trash must not be left at campsites overnight, and you are responsible for properly disposing of large items. Do not leave any trash outside the dumpster.

PETS – A maximum of two (2) pets are allowed per site, and they must be on a leash at all times. Clean up after your pet immediately and be considerate of your neighbors—leaving pet waste on your campsite is both offensive and a health hazard. Pets cannot be left unattended, and any pet causing a disturbance will not be allowed to stay. Pets are not permitted in the swim area, main building, or bathhouse, and they should not be tied to trees. A valid rabies certificate must be provided for each dog before entering the campground. Pit bulls and other aggressive breeds are not allowed.

VISITORS – Weekly and Monthly campers will be given 4 visitor passes per month of stay. Passes are not transferable.  For any additional visitors beyond the allotted passes, the following fees apply:

  • Adults: $5 per day, plus an additional $5 per night for overnight stays.
  • Children: $3 per day, plus an additional $3 per night for overnight stays.

All visitors must register and obtain a visitor’s pass during office hours. Afterhours visitors entered with your access card must be registered the next business day. Visitors with pets (including service animals) must present a valid rabies certificate.

TENTS – A two (2) person pup tent may be erected on your site for a $25 fee per night.  A larger tent is charged at a $35.00 fee per night.

ELECTRIC – Each site is metered for electric.  Monthly campers are responsible for their electric usage and agree to pay for their electric bills in a timely fashion. And the camper authorizes the use of their credit card on file to settle any electric bills that are overdue. Electric is metered at 22¢ per kilowatt.

GATE PASS – An access card is required to enter the park, with up to two cards assigned per site. Misuse of the card will result in it being disabled. Access cards must be returned at the end of your stay, and any unreturned cards will incur a $10 charge per card.

INSURANCE – Valid insurance coverage for your RV is required. Proof of insurance must be provided upon check-in and kept on file with the campground office. The campground shall not be liable for any damages or losses incurred due to uninsured RVs.

MISCELLANEOUS – No hot tubs or inflatable pools are permitted on your site. For sale signs are not permitted in the park, you may post your items on the bulletin board in the main room. Only one mini fridge per site is permitted for outdoor placement, full sized fridges are prohibited.

Legal disclaimers.

HEALTH & SAFETY – Red Rock Ponds RV Resort assumes no responsibility for the health or safety of the Monthly Campers, their family, or their guests.  All activities within the campground shall be deemed at one’s own risk.  These activities shall include, but are not limited to swimming, fishing, hiking, bicycling, hayrides, using playground equipment, and/or participating in any other RV Resort activity.

REMOVAL – Monthly Campers and guests agree to abide by all RV Resort rules and regulations. In the event that you default on any of these terms and conditions or are detrimental to the RV Resort or the management in any way; you may be removed at any time. If you are removed Red Rock Ponds RV Resort will not be liable for returning any monies to the monthly camper. If the police are called on behalf of a camper, Red Rock Ponds RV Resort has the authority to require those campers to leave the campground immediately with this licensing becoming null and void.

BINDING EFFECTS – The covenants and conditions herein contained shall apply to and the heirs, legal representatives, and parties hereto.  All covenants are to be construed as conditions of this licensing.

State & Local Regulations or Ordinances

Rules imposed by state and local governments.

SWIM AND PLAY AREA

  • NEVER SWIM ALONE.  SWIM IN DESIGNATED SWIM AREA ONLY
  • Children LESS THAN 16 YEARS OF AGE must be with two parents or two adults over 18 years of age at the swimming area.  One adult must stay on the beach at all times.
  • Children under 12 years of age need to have a parent present at the playground/and swim area.
  • Children must have an adult present at the bounce houses at all times.
  • No rock or sand throwing will be tolerated.
  • NO GLASS or alcohol are permitted at the playground or swim area.
  • Ponds are for fishing only. Catch and Release, no license required.
  • You must sign out the boats and life jackets at the office before using them.  All persons are required to wear a life jacket when using any watercraft. Children under 14 need an adult with them. You must be 16 years or older to use a Kayak.
  • IN AN EMERGENCY NOTIFY THE FACILITY OPERATOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  A free phone is provided at this facility at the front office.  Phone numbers for the nearest emergency medical service are posted.

Release

I hereby authorize Red Rock Ponds RV Resort to publish photographs taken of me or family members for use in publications and on the Red Rock Ponds website.  I acknowledge that my participation is voluntary, and I will receive no financial compensation.  I release Red Rock Ponds RV Resort, its owners and employees from liability for any claims by me or any third party in connection with my participation.

Your privacy is important to us.  We will not give your e-mail address to anyone without your permission.

The owner/management of Red Rock Ponds RV Resort absolve themselves from any and all liability and responsibility pertaining to the loss by fire, theft, property damage, accident or any other cause whatsoever.

The owner/management also have the right to refuse any RV, camper, tent or service to anyone.   Management reserves the right to make necessary changes in the rules to be in the best interest of Red Rock Ponds RV Resort.

I have read the licensing and agree to comply with them.  Failure to comply with the rules currently in effect will constitute forfeiture of the right to continue occupancy.  No refunds will be given if you are asked to leave.

All paperwork requested must be received before issuance of the gate pass and occupying a monthly site.

I agree to and will abide by all the rules in the Red Rock Ponds Licensing.
