I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees and guests, to abide by the Campground Rules, including those rules and policies published on our website www.riversedgefamilycampground.com, posted on the premises, or given to me at checkin.  

I further understand and agree that River's Edge Family Campground, does not give credit or refunds after check in or due to the discomforts of nature.  River's Edge's refund policy varies, depending on the timing of the cancellation notice as follows:

No refunds are given on or after arrival.  Nor are refunds given for "no shows" or cancellations made on the scheduled date of arrival.  We cannot give refunds or credits due to the discomforts of nature especially changing weather conditions.

With 14 or more days' notice of cancellation prior to scheduled check in, we will gladly refund any prepaid deposit or payment for reservation, less a cancellation fee of 10% of the amount paid less the original booking fee...

With less than 14 days' notice of cancellation prior to scheduled check in, the cancellation fee will be 20% of any prepaid amounts less the booking fee..

For all reservations, in lieu of a refund, guest may choose to retain the full balance as a credit towards a future stay.  However, the credit must be used in the same calendar year. 

Semi-Annual and Annual Reservations:  Due to the significant discount given on semi-annual agreements, no refunds are given for early departure.  Refunds on annual reservations are based on the early departure terms agreed up when signing our extended stay agreements.

I further understand, if I am due a refund, the payment will be refunded using the original method of payment and I will allow 5 to 10 business days for processing.  Or, I may choose to retain the full credit balance as a credit towards a future visit.

Please keep in mind that while we do our best to honor your specific chosen site, there are rare situations where we may need to move you to a similar site to in order to accomodate another guest.

I acknowledge and agree, as a participant and the participation of my children, invitees and guests in any campground activity, I am responsbile for acting within the limits of my ability and heeding all warnings regarding participation in the activity.  I will maintain control of myself and any equipment while participating in the activity and will refrain from acting in any manner that may cause injury to myself or to others.

I acknowledge and agree that children under 16 are not allowed to drive golf carts in the campground or on adjacent properties and no other type motorized vehicle is allowed.

I acknowledge and agree that I am responsible for all damages to River's Edge property or to other River's Edge guests which are caused directly or indirectly by myself, my children, invitees and guests.

I acknowledge and agree that camping, hiking, and swimming in the river involves certain inherent risks, dangers and hazards including, but not limited to, excessive heat, excessive cold, slippery surfaces due to severe weather, insects, snakes, unstable terrain,  slippery surfaces in and around boat ramps, bulkheads and piers, including stones/rip-rap along shoreline, drowning, and encouters with widlife.  I voluntarily agree to assume and accept any and all known risks of injury during my stay, including my children and guests,  at River's Edge Family Campground and/or future visits. 

I acknowledge and agree that the property is privately owned and I am renting a campsite on a day-to-day basis.  The rental of a site is considered as a "temporary vacation rental" and as such shall be governed by the N.C. General Statutes that apply to such temporary vacation site agreements--i.e., managers, staff, or owners may instruct any Guest, their invitees or guests, to remove themselves and/or their property from the campground for any reason.  Once the request has been made, local law enforcement may be contacted to ensure compliance with this request.  As a privately

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE, AND HOLD HARMLESS  River's Edge Family Campground owners, management, and staff for any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay.  I understand that although River's Edge Family Campground Management makes every possible effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.
