Cancellation Policy
Riverside Campground & Cabins, Big Sur, California
All changes or cancellations must occur no later than 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to arrival are subject to a $25 fee for tent and RV sites and a $50 fee for cabins. The remaining deposit balance will be refunded back to the credit card on file. Any cancellations made within 14 days of arrival forfeit the deposit in the amount of 1 nights site fees plus applicable taxes.
Transient guests may be entitled to a refund which will need to be manually processed after cancelling a full reservation or a single site in a multi-site reservation. Upon cancellation, Campspot automatically reviews the resort's cancellation policy and transfers the available refund amount (excluding cancellation fees) to User Credit. Refunds can then be processed from User Credit to the original payment method.
If a guest paid with a credit card, the refund can be applied to the specific credit card associated with the original reservation or user credit. If a guest paid with multiple credit cards, the refund amount must match the original payment amount for each card. Note that if the original payment method has expired, the system will allow the card information to be edited as long as the credit card number is the same and only the expiration date has changed.
If the payment method is no longer saved on file or not available for refund, a check request must be made for the refund amount. If the guest paid with a check, the refund can be applied to a check request or User Credit.
