Rochester Place Resort
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in is any time between after 2pm. Late check-in is available until 8pm and all necessary information required for your stay will be located inside the mailbox on the front of the Resort Office at the entrance. Check out time is by 11am. Please return your gate card to the Resort Office upon check-out, or leave it in the mailbox located on the front of the Resort Office. Failure to return gate card will result in a $25 charge to the credit card on file.
SITE LOCATION
We reserve the right to change site numbers for all reservations at our discretion without prior notice. No refunds/discounts will be issued due to site number changes. Group booking sites are not guaranteed together. Only 1 sleeping unit per site is permitted.
PERMITTED OCCUPANTS
Maximum number of people per site is 6. Additional charges will apply should the site exceed this amount. All visitors must vacate premises by 11pm. All occupants under 18 years of age must remain on site between the hours of 11pm & 8am unless accompanied by parent/guardian. Noise is to be kept to an absolute minimum between the hours of 11pm and 8am. Excessive noise of any kind at any time of day will not be tolerated. Failure to abide will result in eviction from the Resort.
PARKING
Maximum vehicles per site is 2. Additional parking can be found at the recreation hall. • Golf carts are not permitted. • Speed limit is 5km/h and must be obeyed at all times. • Parking of boat trailers is strictly limited to the designated area only and are not permitted on sites.
ALCOHOL & SMOKING
Provincial regulations limit open containers of alcohol to your site. It is a criminal offence to have open containers of alcohol in motor vehicles and in common areas of the Resort. Smoking is prohibited in all public areas of the Resort. This includes but is not limited to tobacco, e-cigarettes, cannabis. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
CAMPFIRES & FIREWOOD
Campfires must be contained in a fire pit and must be kept to a reasonable size; 1 meter high and wide. Fires must be attended by an adult at all times, and must be extinguished before leaving the campsite and/or retiring for the night. Only clean dry wood can be burned. Wood can be purchased at the Resort office.
PETS
The town of Lakeshore has a “Vicious Dog” by law. Pit Bull, Staffordshire, Bull Terrier, American Pit Bull, American Staffordshire Terrier Breed, plus any hybrid dog or crossbreed dog that possesses any substantial characteristics of one or more of the above are strictly prohibited. page 2All pets must remain on a leash at all times. It is the pet owner’s responsibility to clean and dispose of any pet waste which has occurred in all locations of the Resort. Pets are not allowed in the pool enclosure or at the playground.
PROHIBITED
Fireworks are strictly prohibited. • Golf carts are prohibited for transient stays. Ebikes/scooters are not permitted in the Resort.
GARBAGE & MAINTENANCE
Please leave your site clean of any debris. • Garbage must be disposed of responsibly. Garbage bins are located behind the restaurant and near the canal for your use. • Our Resort runs on a septic tank system. Please be mindful of this during your stay and do not flush anything but toilet paper.
FINES
All guests must abide to all terms and conditions, Resort rules, and are responsible for the actions of not only themselves, but assume responsibility of all guests. Any infraction of Resort rules will result in a fine. All fines will be billed directly to credit card on file. All fines can result in eviction from Resort.
