General Resort Policies
All persons using the resort’s facilities do so at their own risk. Furthermore, all guests are required to read and sign the resort's Terms of Service.
Older RVs must be operable, well-maintained, clean, and in good condition and can be rejected at our discretion. Please send photos for approval at the time of your reservation.
Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music or disrupting the peace of the resort in any way will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.
You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office prior to moving. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible.
Fires must be in fire pits or grills. Open fires are not allowed in our resort. Please check with the front office for rentals and more details. Grills are not to be used or stored on top of resort picnic tables.
Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges. Two vehicles and one RV per site only. Trailers, boats, or additional cars require additional paid storage.
Please be respectful of your neighbors and do not walk between sites when navigating the resort. Please use main roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths to walk around the campground.
Washing RVs or vehicles is only permitted with a bucket of water. Hose washing is not permitted.
Outdoor rugs, furniture, shade coverings and storage under or around your RV or picnic table must appear neat, tidy and in good condition. The front office retains the right to approve or reject any outdoor rugs, furniture, shade coverings and storage under or around your RV or picnic table at their discretion.
In the event of severe weather, a storm shelter is provided on-sight. Signs for the storm shelter are posted. Pets are allowed in the storm shelter, however, severe weather can be stressful for pets making them act out of character. Due to this fact, all pets must be muzzled or remain in a carrier while in the storm shelter.
The laundry room is open 24/7. Change and vending is available. Please check with the front desk. Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for your items.
For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with the exception of a temporary closing for cleaning twice per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean. Excessive messes left by guests can result in a $20 cleaning charge per incident.
Clotheslines are not permitted in our resort.
Solicitation or selling of items within the resort is prohibited.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Horseplay or excessive disturbances are not permitted.
All common area buildings and recreation areas at the resort are designated Smoke-Free areas. This includes vaping. We request that if you are smoking/vaping outdoors, that you are aware of the effects of second-hand smoke and are considerate of your neighbors’ health and well being.
The consumption of alcohol is to be enjoyed in a responsible manner and ONLY on your site. Drunkenness, use of illegal drugs, and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated. Alcoholic beverages are to be consumed by adults 21 years of age or older.
Political flags and/or signs, other than the US flag, are not to be displayed or seen from outside of your RV.
Bicycles and Scooters must not be ridden after dusk without appropriate lighting or flashers and should be ridden under control at all times. Vehicles and bicycles should always use caution and yield to pedestrians. ATV’s and side-by-side’s, are to be driven only by adults in a safe responsible manner.
Rockwell RV Resort staff will issue one verbal warning if you or your guests are in violation of any resort rules and policies. A second violation of our rules & policies will result in immediate removal from the resort with no refund or camp credit.
Check In / Check Out
Check in is at 11 AM CST and entitles you to your site until 11 AM day of check-out. Early check in must be approved in advance by the office staff. The guest who paid for the site the prior day has paid for their site until 11AM. Our staff needs time to inspect the site once vacant. If you will be arriving early, please make arrangements until your site is ready.
Late check-ins are allowed at any time, please contact the resort for instructions.
If you are staying in our resort for a month or longer, we require an agreement to be signed. Please contact resort for more details.
Cancellation Policy
Canceling your short term reservation on the day of or within 3 days prior to arrival will result in no refund. Canceling your reservation 4 to14 days prior to arrival, will be refunded half of your total stay. Cancellations 15 or more days prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $15 processing fee.
To canceling your long term reservation please contact the office. Cancelling your reservation on the day of or within 30 days prior to arrival will result in no refund. Cancellations 31 or more days will receive a full refund minus a $50 processing fee.
Refund Policy
There will be no refunds after you have checked in. This includes, but is not limited to, inclement weather, failure to follow the Rules & Regulations, or disorderly conduct. Management/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds.
Vehicle Policies
The resort speed limit is 10 mph. This policy is to keep you and other guests safe, including children and pets. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will result in you being asked to leave without a refund. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.
Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 2 vehicles per site, provided they fully fit in your site. Extra vehicles will need to be approved and may incur additional charges. Please do not park on our grass or outside of your site. Ruts caused in any area of the resort due to vehicles will result in damage charges.
Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles will need to be approved by the front office and will have additional fees.
No parking is allowed in the outside recreation areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not pay for. Do not block any walkways or entrances to our buildings. Parking on the grass is not permitted in any area.
Your vehicle must fit completely in your site. Do not park leaving part of your vehicle out in the roadways of the resort.
ATV’s. dirt bikes, motorcycles, and golf carts are welcome onsite but may not be used as recreation within the resort. They may ONLY be used to get to and from your site.
Major repairs to RVs and vehicles by owners is not permitted in our resort. We are happy to recommend a local mobile RV repair service that comes out to your site to assist you with any repairs so they are completed in a timely manner with minimal disturbance to other campers.
Utilities
You are responsible for understanding how many amps your RV uses. Amp usage over the 30 or 50 AMPs provided can trip your site breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.
Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any utility issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose or repair any utility issues per insurance and safety requirements. Our staff is happy to help. Even if you are licensed to do so, laws prohibit you from working on our utility receptacles unless you are hired by us to do so.
Damage to utility receptacles will result in a damage fee.
Trash Disposal and Recycling
Trash cans are located throughout the resort. Please ensure all trash bags are completely closed and fit in their entirety, in the trash container. If the first can is full, please find another container. Please do not place your trash on the ground.
Four dumpsters are available on opposite ends of the resort.
Please do not dispose of any motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in an extra charge or disposal fee.
Safety and Emergencies
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Horseplay or excessive disturbances are not permitted. Riding bicycles on the main entrance roads around the office area is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests.
Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and will only be used if we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or if requested by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.
If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, please immediately call the front desk or contact a member of our night staff.
If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.
Visitors
Only registered guests are permitted to enter the resort. All visitors must stop in the office to register, potentially pay a fee and receive a parking pass that must be visible at all times. Visitors may not bring pets. Rockwell RV Resort reserves the right to limit the number of people visiting per site. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all rules are followed.
Pool & Playground
There is no lifeguard on duty in the pool area. Swimming is at your own risk. The pool maintains the same operating hours as the front desk. Anyone under 18 must be supervised at all times in the pool area. Children under 14 years of age are not permitted in the sauna or hot tub. Horseplay, running, and diving is not permitted in the pool area. Children in diapers are not allowed in the pool. Only swimming suits and swimming trunks are permitted in the pool. The handicap assist chair is not to be used by anyone who does not need that assistance.
Children must be supervised while playing in the playground area. Please do not let your children climb the trees or any area outside of the playground.
Fireworks and Firearms
Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our resort. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
Pet Policies
We ask that you keep your pets on a leash, no greater than 6 feet, at all times. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe. Pets are not allowed in common buildings. Please do not tie your pet to our trees, doors, or posts. Pets are also not allowed in common outdoor recreation areas. Please respect that other guests may have a fear of your pet. Please keep pets in walking areas or in the dog park.
Management reserves the right to restrict disruptive or aggressive breeds. Any pets showing aggressive behavior will be asked to leave and you will not be given a refund.
Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our resort and should wear their identification tags. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date.
Excessive barking disturbs your neighbors and is not tolerated. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without a refund.
Pets will be allowed in certain rental units upon payment of a non-refundable pet fee. Please note that any guest wishing to bring a pet and use a rental unit must advise the office of this fact when making their reservation arrangements. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. Any incidents can result in damage and a damage charge.
Be a good neighbor and please clean up after your pet. Do not let your pet deposit waste without immediately cleaning up the waste, including in your own site. Doggie waste bags are stationed around the resort and available upon request at the front office. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund or fined $20 per clean up by our staff.
Pets may not be left unattended at any time outside of your RV. Please do not tie your pet outside and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet. Many factors including weather, can affect your pets well-being while you are away. Failure to adhere to this will result in you being asked to leave without a refund on the first occurrence.
Service animals may accompany a disabled person into buildings, swimming areas, rental units and other locations where pets are prohibited. Please be considerate of other guests who may have a fear of your service animal.
Liability
It is your responsibility to keep your possessions secured and conduct yourself in a safe manner. By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges any rights to sue Rockwell RV Resort for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage or loss, any other claim arising out of or in connection with guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guests further agree to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person or pet in their group. Rockwell RV Resort reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest for any reason at any time.
Rockwell RV Resort shall not be held liable or responsible for loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.
Guests are responsible for all damage or destruction of property, and any injury to persons, caused by the guest or his or her family, visitors or pets. We reserve the right to charge guests accordingly for any damage they cause to the grounds and/or resort facilities, including but not limited to broken waterlines, damaged/missing sewer connections, cable lines, landscaping, and excessive debris (bottle caps, zip-ties, cigarette butts, etc.) By agreeing to the Rockwell RV Resort's terms, conditions and policies you agree to a post stay debit of your credit card on file for any incurred fees, including unpaid rental costs owed to Rockwell RV Resort. A notice will be emailed to you prior to the transaction date.
