RESORT USAGE POLICY

RV SITE CHECK IN is at 1:00 PM       ACCOMMODATION UNIT (Cabin or Rental RV) CHECK IN is at 3:00 PM

CHECK OUT FOR ALL GUESTS IS AT 11:00 AM

Salmon Point Resort strives to provide a clean, quiet, safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all of our guests. To that end, the following rules have been established.

RV SITES  Sites are back-in ONLY with services at the back of the site (unless in a specified drive-in motorhome site). 1 camping unit, 1 passenger vehicle only, no boat trailers or utility trailers on the site. Tents in addition to an RV are only permitted at designated sites, please call the office if you are adding a tent. Boat trailer and utility trailer parking is available by calling the office. All RV sites are fully serviced. Rates are based on double occupancy. Only approved black water chemicals may be used in our sustainable UV sewage treatment. A list of approved brands is available on our website and a selection of these chemicals is available for purchase in the office. 

EARLY DEPARTURES No refunds or credits will be given for late arrivals or early departures for any reason.

PICNIC SHELTERS are to be a maximum size of 10 feet x 10 feet. They are not permitted on Lighthouse Beachfront berm. No walls can be placed on shelters that block out the view for other sites.

TENT SITES Based on double occupancy, maximum 5 persons at all designated tent sites and a maximum tent size of 120 square feet (10' x 12'). There is a designated area in the park for RV’s wishing to have a small tent on site for children, maximum tent size allowed is 64 square feet.

CHILDREN: 9 years of age and under stay free.

PETS: We are pet friendly for friendly pets with responsible owners. Pets must be on a leash at all times within the Resort. Do not leave your pets unattended at your site. Cleaning up after you pet is mandatory. Maximum of 2 dogs per site. We're sorry, No Pitbulls or Pitbull cross breeds are permitted.

BIKES, SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS, PEDAL CARTS, ETC. Please keep to the paved roads within the park only.

VISITORS: Visitors must report to the office on arrival for a parking pass. Overnight visitors must register as an additional person and pay the required fee.

FIRES: Wood burning campfires are restricted to beachfront sites and only in the absence of any fire ban. There are two community fire rings noted on the park map and several fire rings on the beach for wood fires limited in size to 2 feet wide and 2 feet high. Propane fire pits are allowed in all sites with the exception of the walk in tent sites where all fires are prohibited. Don not leave fires unattended and extinguish all fires by 11 pm.

BOAT LAUNCH: A 6 foot tide is required for launching and pulling your boat. Use the Mittlenatch tide guide. Visit the office or use the self-service kiosk to pay for your launch prior to launching. No overnight parking is included in the launch fee. If overnight parking is required, please see the office.

MARINA and FUEL DOCK:  Only boat owners with a paid moorage slip are allowed beyond the locked gates in the marina. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Allow for a 2 foot tide PLUS your boat's draught for entering or leaving the marina. Fuel Dock hours are seasonal as posted.

SWIMMING POOL: Open seasonally for Registered Guests only. There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. SHOWER BEFORE USE. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. No glass containers in the pool area.

HOT TUB: The Health Department does not permit children under 16 years of age to use the Hot Tub. The Hot Tub is therefore open to ADULT Registered Guests ONLY all year round. Seasonal hours are as posted. No soaps or lotions in the hot tub. Shower before use.

GARBAGE: Bins are available at the front entrance and by the pool for household garbage that is properly secured in waste bags. NO furniture or other large items are permitted to be disposed of at the Resort. Out of courtesy for others please place all seafood waste in the garbage cans at the fish cleaning station.

RECYCLING AND CARDBOARD: Blue bins are located throughout the park for recycling refundable beverage containers. Flatten all cardboard before placing it and other recyclable items in the designated bins at the front entrance and pool area.

QUIET TIME: Whispers only after 10 pm and before 8 am. ZZZZZZZZ Thank you!

THE FINE PRINT: Any persons using the facilities at Salmon Point Resort do so at their own risk. Salmon Point Resort shall not be responsible for any physical injury, property loss or damage howsoever caused. Salmon Point Resort reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and to expel anyone not abiding by the Park rules. Disruptive behaviours that cause disturbance such as loud music or excessive noise after Quiet Time are not permitted on Resort property.

CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations incur a minimum charge.  Please review the cancellation policy related to your type of booking as listed below.

RV Site Cancellation Policy:

• 15 days or more prior to arrival date will forfeit the $5.00 booking fee.
• 8 to 14 days prior to arrival date will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee and forfeit the $5.00 booking fee.
• 7 days or less prior to arrival date will not receive a refund.

Accommodation Unit Cancellation Policy:

• 30 days or more prior to arrival date will forfeit the $5.00 booking fee.
• 14 to 29 days prior to arrival date will be charged a $100.00 cancellation fee and forfeit the $5.00 booking fee.
• 13 days or less prior to arrival date will not receive a refund.

 

For all reservation classes including moorage there are no refunds or credits for late arrivals or early departures.

 

 

**Important Information for Connecting to Our Sewage System**

All guests must use approved hoses, elbows and connectors and only park-approved toilet chemicals are permitted. You may choose to purchase one of the chemicals listed below prior to your arrival or choose from those we carry for sale at check-in. If you are using a product that is not on this list, please arrive with an empty tank.
