MANAGEMENT RESPONSBILITIES:

  • To enforce the Terms and Conditions set out in this document.
  • To provide safe living conditions.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To know, understand and observe the Terms and Conditions, to enjoy, insure and protect your stay.
  • To bring to Managements attention any concerns or questions that should be directed to Silver Creek Campground.

Rental Agreement: Each Agreement term is a separate transaction. The Seasonal agreement allows residency from April 1st to October 30th. The Guests RV and all personal contents must be removed from the Site on the vacate date stated in the end of Rental Agreement. All stays must be paid in full at the time of the execution of this agreement. All RV's must be insured, and proof of insurance must be provided to the office upon request.

Rate Increases: Management reserves the right to increase the rate to compensate for the increased costs of insurance, taxes, salaries, contracted services, and utility rates.

Electricity, Water and Sewage: Electricity (30 amp), Water, and Sewage are available on the site. Guests are required to be careful of items flushed into the sewage system (items such as paper towel, sanitary napkins, tampons, diapers etc.), should never be flushed down a toilet.

On Site Buildings: The Camp Office is open to all campers from 8am to 5pm. The showers are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The Laundry Facilities are open from 8am to 9pm daily.  All other buildings on the property are off limits.

Personal Injury and Property: Under no circumstances will Gambler First Nation or Odanah Truck Line Inc., Silver Creek Campground, its officers, managers, or employees be liable for injury to persons, including Guests and their Visitors, or for a loss or property damage due to fire, theft, accident, or Act of God. Guests must determine to what extent of insurance is required to protect themselves and their Visitors against such a loss.

Site Rental: The site shall be used solely for recreational purposes and occupied only by the Guests and their dependents and invitees. Renting your camp site property is prohibited on Air-BNB or any other rental site. Friends or relatives may occupy the site in the Guest's absence but must register with proof of permission from the Guest to the Campground Manager.

Visitors: All Visitors are subject to the Terms and Conditions set forth herein and the registered guest will be held responsible and accountable for the actions of their Visitors. Visitors are not allowed to park and /or camp on a Guests Site without prior consent from Management. If permission is obtained a regular overnight fee will apply and will be payable upon consent by Management.

Children and Youth: We welcome children of all ages, but please note that there is a commercial trucking company's base of operation nearby therefore there will be substantial truck/trailer traffic through that area with trucks, trailers and equipment moving at all hours of the day and night. Please keep all children strictly on the campground.  Children under the age of 18 are permitted on the property with adequate adult supervision only. At no time should children be left on their own at the Site or in campground facilities. Guests are always responsible for the care and actions of their children, or any child left in their care. Uncontrolled, destructive and/or abusive children or youth will not be tolerated and will result in their being banned or in the Guest being issued a notice of termination of their Rental Agreement without refund.

Curfew and Noise Level: The site has an 10 pm curfew for children under the age of 16 and must be at the designated campsite and under adult supervision. Violators of this rule will be returned to their parents or those responsible for their supervision. Violations will not be tolerated and will result in the guest being issued a notice of termination of their rental agreement.  Quiet time is from 10pm to 7am.

Pets: Pets are welcome. All pets must always be on a leash or contained. Owners must clean up after their pets. Do not leave small bags of feces in front of your Site or at the front of any other site or building, please dispose of them in a garbage container located in the park. No pets are allowed in the laundromat or showers except for services animals. Loud animals or those of which complaints are received with be dealt with promptly. Guests who cannot contain their pets from disturbing others or pets that Management deems as dangerous to the wellbeing of the other Guests will be asked to remove their pet from the Campground.

Winter Storage: Winter storage is available to renters from the end of October to the beginning of May. If you would like to store your unit here in a secured, locked compound for the winter, please talk to management.

Site Occupancy: Only one RV (travel trailer, motor home, or park model) will be allowed on site. Mobile homes and cabins in place of an R.V are prohibited.

Power Tools and Chain Saws: Power tools and hammering will only be allowed from 10 am to 6 pm in June, July, and August. Chain saws are not allowed other than the ones used by Management.

Alcohol, Cigarettes & Cannabis: As we are both a commercial business and a campground, alcohol and cannabis consumption will be prohibited in any common areas and only allowed in the private area residence (RV, tent). Smoking is prohibited in all public buildings and washrooms/showers.

Termination and/or cancellation Of Agreement: The owner may, with written notice, terminate this agreement because of: • Failure of the guests to comply with all campground rules and conditions. • Conduct of the guest within any part of the campground which is deemed unacceptable in the absolute discretion of the owner, or management. The guest agrees to vacate the site, including removal of trailer and site clean-up and the guest's expense in accordance with the notice of termination of this agreement.

ASSUMPTION OF RISKS: Be aware that the facilities, roads, playground etc. involves many inherent risks, including but not limited to changing weather conditions, equipment failure, collision with objects/people and failure to use facilities in a safe and prudent manner within one's abilities, may cause injury and death. All guests, visitors, and others using the campground facilities do so at their own risk.

*** Infractions of rules and regulations will be brought to your attention by management as part of their duty and obligations to other guests. Disregard for campground rules and regulations or exhibiting verbal and/or physical violent behavior towards management, staff, guests, visitors or others may result in criminal charges and eviction with notification of termination of this agreement. Guests who are evicted or issued a notice of termination of the rental agreement must remove their R.V and personal contents off the site on or before the specified date as indicated on the notice. In all instances of rental termination, NO refund will be issued. ***

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT INDICATING YOUR UNDERSTANDING AS A CONDITION OF OCCUPANCY.
