Cancellation Policy

16+ Days Notice prior to check-in: Full refund less a $15 cancellation fee or a Camp Credit for the full amount of the reservation may be elected.

4-15 days notice prior to check-in: 50% refund and 50% cancellation fee or a Camp Credit for the full amount of the reservation may be elected.

0-3 days notice prior to check-in: No refund. The full amount of the reservation payment is forfeited to Skonewood.

No Show Policy: Campers failing to arrive without cancellation notification (no-shows) will be charged the full balance of their reservation.

Firewood: If firewood was purchased at the time of reservation, full refund will be given. Camp credit can also be elected and used during future stay in the same year.

Camp Credit can only be redeemed in the same calendar year as the cancelled reservation.  Unused Camp Credits are forfeited to Skonewood at the end of the calendar year.

The cancellation policy can be amended with unforeseen circumstances such as a natural disaster, illness or death.
