Late Check-Out/ Early Check-In Policy:

Sleepy Hollow Campground may be able to accommodate a early/late checkin/out.  If available, additional fees may apply. Please request in advance. 

General Policies & Rules:

1. If there are any issues during your stay, please contact us via text/call 240-442-2550.

2. Please be courteous to other guests and refrain from using loud music and adhere to quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.  Please ensure that children do not invade privacy of others by running through other campers sites.

3. Total number of guests in any space or cabin cannot exceed the maximum capacity for that site.  Should your number of guests/pets/tents/vehicles or type of RV change, please notify us so we can edit your reservation and ensure your site can accommodate.  Additional fees may apply to additional guests/pets/tents/vehicles.

 4. All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay and RV’s/Motorhomes must be in good working order and appearance.  Any guest wishing to have boats/boat trailers or cargo/car trailers on site must receive prior permission.  We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.

5. DO NOT leave trash out overnight. All trash must be disposed of in the onsite dumpster each evening and prior to check-out/departure.

6. Restrooms are open 24/7 with a code that's guests receive.  They're located in the center of the property, womens in front/mens in back. Please do not flush anything down the toilets except regular toilet paper as the property is on a septic system.  Should there be any issues with restrooms, please contact us immediately.

7. Wild Animal Advisory: Please do not feed any animals intentionally or unintentionally.  The local area is home to many animals big and small, including but not limited to; raccoons, deer, bear and coyotes.  The best way to avoid contact with such animals is to ensure all trash is immediately placed in the dumpster on site.  Additionally, ensure that all food is stored in a locked vehicle or RV.  Do not ever leave food or trash outside or in tents overnight.

8. Please respect and be considerate of other guests.  Discrimination, harassment, hate speech or racist comments is strictly prohibited.  No political flags or signs may be displayed and only an unaltered Amerian Flag may be flown on site.

9. In the event of inclement weather, guests may seek shelter in the bathhouse which is located in the center of the property.

10. Please adhere to and follow all local, state and federal laws while on the premises. The use of violence, profanity, illegal drugs, fireworks, firearms, archery, paintball and air guns is prohibited.  We reserve the right to evict (without refund) any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.

Pet Policy:

1.​ Guests are allowed to have domesticated canine and feline pets. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is NOT considered suitable to the serenity/safety of our guests.

2.​ All pets must be registered at the time of reservation and guests are responsible for ensuring their pets vaccinations are current during their stay.

3. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times while on the property and may not be left outside unattended. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet(s). 

4. Sleepy Hollow Campground is not responsible for and will hold the pet owner accountable for any injury or damage caused by pet(s).  Liability rests solely on the pet owner, and not Sleepy Hollow Campground.

5. Do not allow pets to get on furniture in the cabins.

6. Service animals may accompany a disabled person without any proof of disability or certification for the service animal.

Cabin Info:

1. Cabins do not include linens, please bring your own linen to use.

2. Cabins must be in the same condition and furniture configuration upon check-out as was during arrival.

3. Guests must sweep cabins prior to departure, in addition, no trash may be left in cabins. Trash must be placed in the dumpster on the property.  If equipped with a refridgerator, please clean and take all food with you upon departure. 

4.  Turn off all lights and turn off the heat or Fan_Air upon departure from the cabin.

5.  A $25.00 cleaning fee will be charged in the event that the cabins are not cleaned prior to departure (swept, trash taken out, etc.).  In addtion, a $25.00 fee will be added if the heat or Fan_Air is left on upon check-out.

WI-FI:

WI-FI is available on site free of charge but is not a guaranteed amenity (due to functionality being out of our control).  The login and password will be provided via email upon online check-in prior to arrival.  Only registered guests may use the WI-FI system.  Depending on the carrier, cell phone service may be intermittent.  The WI-FI can be utilized and Wi-Fi calling/texting can be enabled to enhance communication.  The Wi-Fi is a free service and is intended to enhance general communication. While we’ve had great feedback regarding the WI-FI, up front disclosure is that you're still in the mountains and so the WI-FI isn't intended to be used for streaming or gaming (as that requires high speeds/data), but hopefully you'll find it fits your needs to stay connected for general communication uses.  Broadband internet is not available in our area so we have secured the best available internet options at this time. 

Cancellation Policy:

Should a reservation need to be cancelled, the following policies apply:

We are happy to provide a full refund less a $10 processing fee for cancellations made more than 14 days prior to reservation start date.

Cancellations initiated between 7-13 days prior to reservation start date will be provided a 50% refund. 

No refunds are provided for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance of the reservation start date.

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Sleepy Hollow Campground, LLC, or its owners, from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Sleepy Hollow Campground property and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs, ice; or encounters with wildlife.

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Sleepy Hollow Campground management and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Sleepy Hollow Campground management makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.
