Terms and Conditions

Guest Waiver, Liability Release and Pool Rules

By accepting this reservation, the Guest hereby waives, releases, and discharges Sodus Point RV Park from all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, or any other claim arising out of or in connection with the Guest’s use of the rental site and property.

Further, the Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sodus Point RV Park from any and all losses, claims, expenses, and demands, including attorneys’ fees, resulting from or related to the Guest’s use of the property.

The Guest also agrees to be personally responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their party or group.

Sodus Point RV Park reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant, or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a state sexual offender registration program.

1. Season of Operation

• The RV Park operates annually from May 1st through November 1st.

2. Occupancy

• Each site is limited to a designated number of occupants.
• Exceeding occupancy limits is prohibited.
• All visitors must register at the office and may be subject to additional fees.
• Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors.

3. RV & Equipment Requirements

• Tent camping and non-self-contained RV units are not allowed.
• All RVs must include internal bathrooms and holding tanks.
• All RVs must be well-maintained and presentable. Management may refuse access to substandard units.

4. Parking Policy

• Each site includes 1 RV and 1 vehicle.
• Additional vehicles, boats, or trailers must be parked in designated areas. Extra fees apply.
• No parking on grass, unassigned sites, or blocking accessways.
• Any damage from improper parking will result in charges.
• Additional passes can be purchased at the Wheelhouse Market

5. Speed Limit

• The speed limit throughout the park is 5 MPH.
• Drive slowly and be alert for pedestrians.

6. Pets

• Limit: 2 pets per site.
• Must be leashed (6 ft max) at all times.
• Owners must clean up immediately.
• Vaccination records required.
• Aggressive or disruptive pets will be removed from the property.

7. Site Maintenance

• Guests must keep their site clean and uncluttered.
• Use dumpsters for all waste.
• Do not alter or damage park infrastructure or landscaping.

8. Shared Facility Use

• Bathrooms, showers, and laundry are for registered guests only.
• Guests must clean up after themselves.
• Laundry room is open 24/7. Do not leave items unattended.

9. Pool & Clubhouse Access

• Access is included for seasonal guests and destination trailer guests.
• Transient guests and visitors must purchase a day pass.
• No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk. SEE ADDITIONAL POOL RULES BELOW
• Open from 8:00 AM until dusk.
• Children under 18 must be supervised.
• No children under 12 years of age are allowed in the spa.
• No diapers, glass, food, alcohol, or horseplay in the pool area.

10. Campfires

• Fires are allowed only in designated fire pits or grills.
• Never leave fires unattended. Extinguish before departure.
• Comply with local fire regulations.

11. Drones

• Drones and other remote-controlled devices are prohibited on park property.

12. Utility & Infrastructure Use

12.1 Transient Sites

• Electricity, water and sewer is included in your nightly rate.

12.2 Seasonal Sites

• Sites are individually metered for electricity only. Water and sewer are included.
• Current rate: $0.2387 per kWh.
• Bills are issued on the 1st of each month and due within 15 days.
• Payments accepted via Campspot, check, or credit card.
• Late fee: $50. Continued non-payment may lead to disconnection or RV removal.
• Guests are responsible for damage or misuse of meters and must report issues.

12.3 Infrastructure

• Do not modify water, sewer, or electrical hookups
• Permanent/semi-permanent additions (e.g., lighting, satellite dishes) require prior approval.
• Do not remove the water backflow preventers

13. Access Control

• Entry to gated areas requires a key fob.
• Seasonal sites receive 2 fobs. Unreturned/replacement fobs: $15 each.
• Sharing access credentials is strictly prohibited.

14. Vehicle Maintenance

• On-site vehicle or RV repairs are not permitted. All maintenance and repair work must be conducted off-property. If service is necessary on-site, it must be performed by a licensed and insured service provider, and only with prior written approval from park management.

15. Prohibited Activities

• Smoking is prohibited in common areas.
• Illegal substances, fireworks, and firearms are forbidden.
• Violation may result in immediate eviction without refund.

16. Visitors

• Visitors must register at the office, pay applicable fees, and display a parking pass.
• Visitors may not bring pets.
• Guests are responsible for visitor conduct and any applicable fines/fees for damages.

17. Emergency Procedures

• Review posted emergency plans.
• In case of emergency, dial 911 immediately.

18. Enforcement & Termination

• Non-compliance with these terms may result in fines, eviction, or legal action.
• Management may revise rules at any time to protect guest safety and property integrity.

19. Respect for Nature

• Do not feed or harass wildlife.
• Preserve the natural surroundings of the park.

21. Right of Eviction

Sodus Point RV Park reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper, or group of campers at its sole discretion for any cause, including but not limited to:

• Violation of any rules
• Disorderly conduct
• Safety risks
• Property damage
• Non-payment
• Unauthorized access or misuse

No refunds will be issued in the event of eviction.

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING THE POOL AND SPA

The swimming facilities at SODUS MARINA and SODUS POINT RV PARK are not supervised by a lifeguard or other responsible person. In place of on-site supervision, this facility has established a series of safeguards to be followed by all guests.

We are required to notify you of these rules, to ensure that water rescue equipment is at the pool or beachside and that the swimming area is maintained in a sanitary manner. In the interest of your safety and that of your guests, we require you to follow these rules.

Please read the safety rules located at the entrance and outlined in this brochure. If you have any questions, we will be happy to discuss them with you.

• NEVER SWIM ALONE.

A minimum of two adults 18 years of age or older, must be present whenever this swimming facility is in use, with at least one adult on the pool deck or beachfront.

• THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR ADEQUATE SUPERVISION.

Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied to the bathing facility by a parent or guardian, or similar adult responsible for their safety and behavior.

• IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY THE FACILITY OPERATOR AND CONTACT HELP IMMEDIATELY.

A free telephone is provided at this facility. Telephone numbers for the nearest emergency medical service are posted.

• ONLY USE THIS FACILITY DURING POSTED HOURS OF OPERATION AND SWIM ONLY IN THE DESIGNATED BATHING AREA.
• DON'T DRINK ALCOHOL AND SWIM.

Injuries can be prevented and safety is everyone's responsibility. If you notice any problems with the water quality or the absence of safety equipment, please notify us at once.

YOUR SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US. HAVE A SAFE & ENJOYABLE STAY.

After you have read this brochure, please sign electronically or request a physcial copy to be signed and kept on file at the office. Only guests of this facility who have received and read this brochure may use the bathing area.

I have read and understand the bathing safety rules at this facility. I understand there will be no lifeguard on duty at this facility. I will abide by the rules listed in this brochure.
