SPIRIT SPRINGS CAMPGROUND 2025
Rules, Policies and General Information:
Primarily, we truly wish to give everyone the best camping experience possible. Our goal is for each of you to enjoy your time camping and making memories...so we ask you please read and take the following into consideration. We know it is lengthy but with recent incidents; we had to make some changes.
If we experience blatant disrespect or damage to our property, you will be charged. If it continues, you will be asked to leave. Destruction of our property and violence WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
·Check-in and Check-out: You can check in as early as 2PM on Thursday –Saturday afternoon. (There is a two-day minimum stay in our rentals) We currently do not have any early check-ins unless permission is granted ahead of time. We will be available until 7pm to check you in personally; if you arrive after that time or after dark you will be expected to find your own spot. Please arrive before 10pm out of respect for fellow campers who wish to go to bed early. Check-out is at 11AM Sunday Morning.

· Quiet time: begins at 11PM extending until 8AM. This does not mean that you must go to bed, it is simply asking you to begin quieting your music, voices, and kiddos. Please be respectful of our neighbors! No harsh, loud, or foul music. No drinking, no drugs. Please be respectful and courteous to your neighboring campsites, as well as our personal neighbors. We wish to keep it a family friendly, clean campground.
· Playground: The SSC Playground opens at 9 am- after quiet time has ended and closes at dusk for the safety of the children. No one is allowed on the playground after dark. Please DO NOT allow children older than 3 to sit in the baby/toddler swings. No climbing on the actual playground equipment or any of our trees, again for safetys sake. No rough housing or horseplay is allowed on the playground. Children must always have a parent present. PLEASE know where your children are; we may be a small campground, but we value safety.
· Campsites: Rental of a site means members of your immediate family only. Each paid registration covers one campsite, one vehicle unless granted permission per management. There are additional fees for additional vehicles. Please check with managament before bringing additional vehicles. We have little overflow parking. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON OUR GRASS. If ruts occur in your campsite, due to additional vehicles, you will be charged for damages. Please do not use Outdoor Rugs on our grass sites. They will only be permitted on the gravel sites.
· Visitors: PLEASE make sure and check in with us first before inviting visitors. Day-time visitors must check in with the office or manager for safety reasons. We have limited parking and want to ensure our paying guests the best experience. You will be asked to leave if you are a guest who has not checked in. $5/day per adult; $3/ day per child (non-holiday weekend days) or $7/day per adult; $5/day per child (holiday weekend days). Guest check-out time is 10 pm. No overnight guests unless previously discussed. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and understand and comply with campground rules. All guests must be parked in the designated areas. Visitors are not allowed use of pool {unless you have permission directly from management.
· No Fireworks permitted.
· Sharp objects/ knives: Please refrain from bringing any sharp objects, machetes, knives etc. *in the hands of children* (multi-tools are excluded)
· Children: Parents / Grandparents / Guardians are responsible for the behavior of their children/grandchildren and any children in their care. Children must always have a parent present for obvious safety reasons. Please be aware of the whereabouts of your children, their behavior, and actions.
· Smoking: No smoking around small children, in or around the pool, bathhouse, or rental areas. Please use the designated areas, (if you choose to smoke outside of your campsites) Please dispose of your cigarette butts correctly and safely.
· Dogs: Dogs are welcome in specified sites ONLY . No dogs allowed in the pool area, bath house or in the rentals. Pets must always be kept on a leash or confined to the trailer. Pet waste must be disposed of immediately. No dogs allowed in the pool area, bath house or in the rentals. Pets must have current vaccinations. You are responsible for your dog at all times; Owners must be able to prevent their dog from excessive barking. Dogs showing aggression may be asked to leave and future return may be prohibited if we deem the dog a risk to other campers
· Fire: Please contain fire to fire rings only. No open fires allowed. DO NOT MOVE THE FIRE RINGS. If you move the rings, start a fire, you will be charged. Please do not leave trash behind in your fire ring. Please Do not leave your fire unattended for extended periods of time or leave your campfire burning when you leave. You are welcome to bring your own firewood or purchase it from us, here at SSC.
· Trash: Please keep your own campsites clean. PLEASE throw your trash away in designated trash bins placed around the property. Your campsite Trash must be placed in bags and placed in the dumpster at the entrance upon departure. Please do not leave behind trash in your fire rings.
· Waterways: There must always be a parent with children for safety around the waterfront and pool areas.
POOL: There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS.
· The Dam: To cross our water way please use the covered bridge ONLY!! DO NOT CROSS THE CONCRETE SPILLWAY. Standing on the grate of our dam is also STRICTLY PROHIBITED. This rule is in place for you and your children’s safety. Children must always be attended to by an adult.
· The Creek: Please NO wading in the creek before first seeking permission. Any form of water vessel is prohibited in the creek side of the mill pond.
· Water Vessel Rentals: Our paddle boat, canoes, kayaks, paddle boat or row/paddle boats must be checked out with management. They are only allowed on the mill pond side of our waterfront. Any of the above-mentioned must be returned to the proper spots when your rental period is completed. If any damage occurs while in your use, YOU are responsible for damages and will be charged accordingly. Children are not allowed on the mill pond without a parent present or their signed consent. Each person must have the proper life vest in the boats for safety reasons. This includes the option of bringing your own vessel.
· Any motorized- ATV, UTV, and Golf Carts: are all prohibited... bicycles ARE ALLOWED. However, please don't ride them through our gardens. It causes a lot of damage. If you choose to leave the property on foot or by bicycle, we are not responsible for your safety.
· Electrical Use: We have 30-amp breakers with 110 plugins. You are responsible for providing your own adapters. Amp usage over the 30 amps may trip your breakers; so please be mindful of that. PLEASE NOTIFY MANAGEMENT IF THIS HAPPENS. DO NOT ASSESS OR ATTEMPT TO DIAGNOSE ON YOUR OWN PER INSURANCE AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS. {We will flip the breakers for you.}
· Wildlife: Please RESPECT the wildlife (swans, geese, bunnies etc.) PLEASE, DO NOT CHASE THE SWANS OR GEESE! Every summer, we have baby swans/geese and do not wish for anyone to be harmed. They are typically calm, but please do not agitate them. They will protect their mate and offspring if they feel threatened.
· Berries and Flowers: Please do not pick any of our berries, flowers, and such without first asking permission. We personally harvest a lot of these, and we work extremely hard to maintain the property for your enjoyment and ask you to do the same.
· Relaxing Niches: As you explore the property, you will find hidden niches to read, nap, watch the sunrise, or relax. Please do not allow children to jump in the hammocks or on the provided furniture. {The hanging hammocks located on “the point” by our home, are for owner’s use only. Please do not wander past the pool or across our lawn for our privacy's sake.
We are a small campground and often have full capacity. If you would like to change the reservation dates, we will try to work with you if it’s within two weeks of your arrival. Camper/cabin Rentals must give notice within a month of your stay. Please remember we have no control of the weather; we cannot offer refunds just because it is raining. We do not give refunds for weather related concerns. Camping is an outdoor activity and the fun goes on, rain or shine. Management reserves the right to ask you to leave at any point of your stay if an incident has occurred, (and you are not compliant after warning) with no refunding.
· Please RESPECT your surroundings: neighboring campsites, the property, our wildlife, and boats. But above all, ENJOY your stay.
