Spruce Point Park Campground/Marina, Kinuso, Alberta

PARK RULES
Gates are closed at 11pm

Quiet time is from 11pm to 8am

Speed limit in the park is 20/km per hour

Do not leave coolers or valuables unattended

No lifeguard on duty.  Attend children at all times

Do not fuel boats in marina with jerry cans

Cutting trees or burning dead fall in not allowed

Guests must leave the campground by 10pm

You are responsible for picking up after your pets

RV or vehicle washing is not allowed on the property

Generators may be operated in the park from 9am to 11pm

Fires allowed only in fire pits provided.  Do not leave unattended

Extinguish before retiring.  Do not move fire pits

Vehicles not displaying a valid pass will be towed at owner's expense

Bag bottles and cans separately and place beside the garbage barrels

Portable toilets and holding tanks must be emptied at the dump stations

Bicycles are allowed on gravel roads only and must not be operated after dusk

Music must be kept at a reasonable level at all times and turned off by 11pm

Guests and visitors must be registered at the gatehouse to obtain a permit

Pets are not allowed in public buildings, on playgrounds, on the beach or in the water

Put all trash in and do not move garbage barrels located throughout the park

Fish are to cleaned only at the cleaning station located near the marina parking lot

Hunting and firearms of any kind including air rifles, pellet guns and sling shots are not allowed

Alcoholic beverages are Restricted to your site.  Any drug activity will be reported to the RCMP

Peddling, selling goods or promoting for profit, personal or otherwise, is prohibited unless written permission is obtained from the Park Board

Boats, personal water crafts and water skiers must stay out of the swimming and shallows areas, and keep clear of fishermen

All days reserved must be paid for.  We only guarantee days that are paid for.  We do not hold sites pending weather conditions.  NO REFUNDS

Moving fire pits, destroying trees, will result in a $100 vandalism charge and eviction without refund

 

Campground policies

  • A credit card must be provided at the time of booking to confirm the Booking.
  • A $6.00 non-refundable booking fee will be charged per site.  
  • Bookings require a one-night non-refundable deposit.  If you cancel, your deposit will not be refunded.  
  • All Long Weekends and reservations going into the long weekend require a three-night min stay with a three-night non-refundable deposit.  If you cancel, your deposit will not be refunded.
  • The maximum stay on beachfront lots is 14 days, and on non-beachfront lots is 1 month.
  • Extra units on a site will be charged the same price as the stall amount.  
  • NO refunds once checked in
  • Reservations must be paid in full at the time of check-in.
  • Check-in starts at 2 pm and Check out is at 12.00 noon.
  • Reservations will be held until 11am of the day following the arrival of date and would be cancelled as a no-show, unless notified prior.  
  • A late check-out penalty of $20.00 per hour will apply if the registered camper of that site has not departed by the check-out time of 12.00 noon. All guests must depart before 2 pm.
  • Dogs not on a leash or on the beach, the fine is a warning for the first offence, $100 for the second offence, and for the third offence, you are asked to leave the park.
  • Generators can be operated from 9am to 11pm.  Fines for following the rule is warning is for first offence, $100 for second offence and third offence ask to leave the park. 

 

Marina

Check in is not permitted before 11am.  Check out is at 11am.  Please make arrangements if you are arriving late.

All rates are charged at the tine of booking plus a $6.00 non-refundable reservation fee per reservation.

A one-night non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking.

Any booking over a long weekend will require a 3 night – non refundable deposit.

Reservations will be held until 11am of the day following the arrival date and would then be cancelled as a no-show unless notified prior.

NO REFUND WILL BE ISSED FOR ANY REASON AFTER YOUR ARRIVAL.



Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Dogs are allowed on the public beaches. There is a dog beach by site 9. Anyone caught with a dog not on a leash will receive a warning. Second offence a $100 fine charged. Third offence you will be evicted from the campground 
 

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Spruce Point Park or all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SPRUCE POINT PARK from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that SPRUCE POINT PARKs may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. SPRUCRE POINT PARK reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

Pet Policy: We are a pet-friendly park, but pets must be on a leash at all times while out of customer’s equipment (rv,tent, etc), cleaned up after and may not disturb other guests. Pets are the responsibility of the owner, and the park is not liable for any injuries or incidents caused by pets or wildlife.
Our park is rustic by design and wildlife is a part of that rustic feel, for that reason we encourage pets and pet owners alike to be mindful of their surroundings.

Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.

SPRUCE POINT PARK or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.

The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
