Terms and Conditions

~General

Guests (Including Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Seasonal) are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets.

Guest(s) assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Tumble Hill Campground harmless from and indemnify Tumble Hill Campground against the same.

Tumble Hill Campground is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.

We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.

It is your responsibility to maintain insurance on your camper and equipment. Tumble Hill Campground is not responsible for theft or loss of any kind, nor any damage caused by fire, wind, water, accidents, vandalism, lighting strikes, etc. SURGE PROTECTORS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. 

ABSOUTLEY NO FUEL RELATED ITEMS PERMITTED UNDER CAMPER (lawn mower, weed whackers, fuel tanks, gas cans, grills, etc.)

DO NOT EVER REMOVE THE RED BACK-FLOW PREVENTORS FROM WATER CONNECTORS.

Any damages to Tumble Hill Campground property (site damages, Cabins, Rental Trailers, general area) are the responsibility of the guest that causes the damages.  Guests that have a reservation are solely responsible for any guests visiting them in the campground.

WE ARE SMOKE FREE - All Cabins, Trailer Rentals, and public/common areas are smoke-free. Please extinguish cigarettes in designated cans.  If you disregard this rule in our cabins or trailers, you will be charged a $250 violation fee.

No person under 21-years of age shall possess alcoholic beverages.

Unless previously discussed with Owners, any tent or other camping equipment left unoccupied for more than 48 hours may be taken down and removed.

~Check In / Check Out

Check in is at 2 PM EST and entitles you to your site until 12 Noon the day after check in. Call for possible early check in 585-384-5248.  For check in earlier than 1:00 PM, there will be a $2 charge per each hour.

Check out time is 12 PM EST. Call for possible late check out 585-384-5248.  For check out time later than 1:00 PM, there will be a $2 charge per hour. If you are checking out prior or at 12 PM, you do not need to contact the office for check out.

Late check-ins are allowed up until 8:30 PM.  Please contact the park for instructions 585-384-5248.

If you are staying in our park for a month or longer, we require an agreement to be signed.  Please contact park for more details 585-384-5248.

~Site Changes

If you wish to move to a different site after arrival, please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible.

~Reservations

Make your online reservations anytime, day or night, at tumblehill.com. You'll receive a confirmation email from the campground once you complete your reservation.  Tumble Hill’s reservation software may move you to another same site type prior to your arrival unless you place a site lock on the site you reserve.  Site Lock prevents the reservation software from possibly moving you to another same site type.  There is a $10 Site Lock Fee.

Full payment is required upon reservation.

For Monthly Reservations, please call the office (585-384-5248) as those require a manual override.  Please Note: Monthly reservations are due on or prior to the reservation begin date (the 1st of the month or on the day the reservation is made if not starting on the 1st).  If not paid in a timely manner, a $10 per day late fee may be imposed.  Monthly guests may have up to two vehicle passes and will not be charged the $10 per day fee for the 2nd vehicle.  If a third vehicle is needed, that vehicle must be parked where the campground owners deem necessary and will be charged an additional storage fee (as well as any trailers).  Contact the office for additional information.

~Site Occupancy

RV Site occupancy is limited to 6 guests overnight (two adults and up to four children). (An exception to this rule is a family of 2 Adults that may have more than 4 children under the age of 18.) Additional tents can be added for $15 per tent per night depending upon the site size.  Additional vehicles can be added for $10 per day.

Cabins have designated occupancy as indicated and can allow for tents to be added for an additional $15 per tent per night.  Additional vehicles can be added for $10 per day.

For Group Tent Area and other larger Tent Sites, occupancy is limited to 6 guests per 1 vehicle or 1 tent.  Additional tents can be added for $15 per tent, per night.  Additional vehicles can be added for $10 per day.

~Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your reservation, you can do so online at tumblehill.com or email us at tumblehill@yahoo.com or call 585-384-5248 before the deadline listed below to receive your reservation refund, minus a $15 cancellation fee. Text notifications of cancellations is not acceptable.

  • Three day cancellation notice is required. Notify Tumble Hill Campground by 5 p.m. three days before your scheduled arrival. A $15 cancellation fee will be charged.
  • Canceling less than three days prior to your scheduled arrival will result in no refund of your reservation.
  • Refunds will not be provided due to mother nature. Camspot (our vendor that handles the reservation software) offers weather insurance.
  • Early departures will not receive a refund.  However, after arrival, you will have 1 hour to decide whether or not the campground meets your needs.  If it does not, and you depart the campground prior or at 1 hour of arrival, you will receive a full refund.

~Open Fires/Fire Pits/Firewood

Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in firepits or designated fire rings.

Please leave fire ring in its designated spot and do not move it. Do not throw trash in firepits.  Do not leave fire unattended and make sure fire is extinguished before leaving your site or going to bed.

No chain saws or cutting of campground wood allowed.

No outside Firewood allowed. Firewood is available for sale at designated areas with money drop box if Camp Store/Office is closed. The cost is either $10 bag, $20 per wagon load, or $50 for a tractor bucket delivered to your site. This is very important as some bugs/beetles coming in from other states could end up closing our campground down.

~Storage

Storage is not allowed under or around your RV or picnic table.

~Site and Park Navigation

Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads, sidewalks, and designated public paths to walk around the campground.  If driving, the speed limit is 10 MPH in the park. Please use caution driving in all areas.

~Pet Policies

Cost
Guests will be charged a one-time, per visit, charge of $5 per dog.  

Leash
We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet

Be a good neighbor and please use the dog walk areas and clean up after your pet always (three pet stations are located throughout the campground with bags/garbage disposal for your convenience). Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites.

Leaving Pets Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pet’s well-being while you are away.

Pets Not Allowed in Deluxe Cabins or Trailer Rentals
Sorry, pets are not allowed in our Deluxe Cabins or Trailers.  

Pet Vaccinations
Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet’s shots are up-to-date. Please be prepared to show current vaccine record if asked.

Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.

~Vehicle Policies

No Unregistered Vehicles of any kind permitted in the park.

No washing of vehicles.

Electric Vehicles

Charging of any electric vehicles is not permitted.

Speed Limit

The park speed limit is 10 mph. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Parking

Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. Extra vehicles will need to be parked near the office/Rec Hall.

Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles will cost additional fees for camping. A nightly registration covers 1 RV and 1 vehicle only.  $10 will be charged per day per extra trailer, boat or extra vehicle.

Please do not park your extra vehicles in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

Please contact owners for parking instructions for utility trailers and boats.  Utility trailers and boats are not allowed to be parked on a camp site.

No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for.

ATV’s, Dirt Bikes, and Golf Carts

No Off Road Vehicles allowed to be used within the park.

~General Park Policies

Visitors

Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. All visitors must stop in the office to register, pay a fee (listed below) and receive a parking pass. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm EST. Overnight visitors must depart by Noon EST. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed.

All guests visiting someone in the park must register and pick up a pass at the office and park in the designated area. Vehicle Pass must be visible at all times.

Please note:

$2 per person for Day Use visitors.

$5 per person for Overnight Stay with a $10 extra vehicle fee per extra vehicle.

$15 for extra tent on site per night (RV, Cabins, or Tent sites) with a $10 extra vehicle fee per extra vehicle.

BBQ Rental

Guests renting the BBQ ($5 per evening) at the Club House must not move the BBQ from the Club House location.  BBQ must be cleaned after use.

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMPs provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your amp usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay.  SURGE PROTECTORS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. 

Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per insurance and safety requirements. Maintenance is happy to help. Even if you are an electrician, laws prohibit you from working on our pedestals unless hired to do so.

Laundry
The laundry room is open 24/7. Change and Laundry supplies available at the store. Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.

Restrooms

For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with the exception of a temporary closing for cleaning. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean. Children need adult supervision in the bathrooms and showers.  Please let management be aware if restroom needs attention.

Playground

Playground opens at 8 am and closes at dusk. Children must be supervised in these areas and all areas of the campground at all times.

Quiet Time Policies

Quiet time is 10 PM to 8 AM.

Trash Disposal and Recycling

A dumpster is available near the park store (near park exit). The dumpster is for bagged CAMP TRASH ONLY.  Please do not dispose of any wood, cardboard, motor oil, cooking oil, wires, furniture, household items, mattresses, or any toxic or hazardous waste items. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in charges for disposal fees. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container.  Please do not place your trash on the ground. On rare occasions we have had a Bear attempt to get at the trash in the dumpster.

Cardboard or wood can be placed in the large fire pit across from the Camp Office.

Please use recycle bins located all throughout park.  Please do not put trash in recycle bins.        

Children

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Horseplay, running, riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. The playground and other outdoor games close at dusk. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when using the restrooms.

Feel free to play games outside but please remember to return equipment to Rec. Hall, Game Room or Office.

Drones

Drones are not permitted in our park.

Clotheslines

Clotheslines are not permitted in our park.

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Safety and Emergencies

Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.

If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call (585) 384 -5248, 24 hours a day.

If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.

~Covid-19 Policy

If you, (or anyone in your party), tests positive for COVID-19 or comes into contact with someone who has, or if your temperature exceeds 100 degrees Fahrenheit and you experience other COVID-19-related symptoms, you agree that you will not seek to enter the Tumble Hill Campground until you are no longer symptomatic for three straight days.  You agree to observe the safety requirements within the community spaces -- including wearing a personal mask when required, and observing required routes of circulation, occupancy limitations, social distancing and sanitization requirements.

 

We welcome you all and hope you have an enjoyable stay! Please feel free to come to us for any suggestions you may have. Our goal is to make you feel at home. We hope to keep this campground a quiet, safe, and relaxing vacation spot.
