Stoney Lake Community Campground & Facility Rentals — Terms & Conditions Agreement
By completing your reservation at Stoney Lake Community, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which apply to all camping stays and facility/event rentals. These policies ensure the safety, fairness, and enjoyment of all guests and community members.
GENERAL LIABILITY & RISK ASSUMPTION
Liability Waiver
Camping and event participation involve inherent risks, including but not limited to hazards associated with outdoor activities, weather, uneven terrain, and wildlife. By booking, you release the Stoney Lake Community Association, its volunteers, and representatives from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
Assumption of Risk for Water and Trail Use
Swimming, boating, and hiking are at your own risk. No lifeguard, trail guide, or water supervision is provided.
Indemnification
Renters agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner from any actions, claims, damages, or legal costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from injury, death, or property damage caused by the Renter’s use of the space.
CAMPGROUND POLICIES
Check-In / Check-Out
Check-in is after 3:00 PM. Check-out is by 12:00 PM. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may result in additional charges.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are enforced from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be respectful of other campers. Loud music, disruptive behavior, and excessive noise are not permitted.
Campfires
Campfires are only permitted in designated fire pits. You must provide your own firewood. Do not cut trees or gather wood from the property. All fires must be fully extinguished before leaving. Always check local fire regulations and abide by fire bans. Never leave fires unattended.
Be Bear Smart
Store all food and scented items securely. Do not leave garbage or food out overnight. Use designated garbage bins and keep your site clean to reduce wildlife attractants.
Pets
Pets must be kept leashed at all times and pet waste must be cleaned up. Aggressive pets or repeated disturbances may result in removal without refund.
Alcohol
Alcohol consumption is permitted at campsites in moderation. Disorderly or unsafe behavior due to alcohol will not be tolerated.
Garbage & Cleanliness
Campers are responsible for keeping their sites clean and for disposing of garbage in designated bins. Sites must be cleaned before departure.
Removal for Rule Violations
Failure to follow campground rules may result in immediate removal from the campground without refund.
CAMPING CANCELLATION & RESERVATION POLICIES
Cancellations:

14+ days prior to arrival: Full refund minus $10 processing fee.

7–13 days prior to arrival: 50% refund.

Less than 7 days prior: No refund.

No refunds for early departure, no-show, or bad weather.
Reservation Changes:
Changes may be made up to 7 days prior to arrival, subject to availability.
FACILITY RENTAL POLICIES
Cleaning Deposit
A $200 cleaning deposit is required prior to rental. It may be retained if the facility is not left in original condition.
Camping During Facility Rentals
Any guests camping as part of a facility rental must book under their group reservation and are responsible for paying all camping fees prior to departure. Powered sites are charged at $30 per trailer, per day.
Insurance Requirements
Renters are strongly encouraged to purchase:

PAL (Party Alcohol Liability) when alcohol is being served.

SEL (Special Event Liability) when no alcohol is being served.

Use of Premises
Facilities are provided as is. The Owner makes no guarantee regarding their suitability for your specific event. Prices and availability are subject to change at any time.
Condition & Clean-Up
Facilities must be returned in the same condition as received. Renters must remove all decorations, trash, and personal items. Trash must be disposed of in offsite receptacles.
Damages
Renters are responsible for all damage beyond normal wear and tear. Renters must arrange for repairs. If not completed, the Owner will coordinate repairs and invoice the Renter.
Cancellation for Rentals
Events must be canceled at least 120 days in advance to receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations made within 120 days may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Revocation of Rental
The Owner reserves the right to revoke this agreement at any time prior to the event. If revoked for reasons not caused by renter’s breach or non-payment, all fees and deposits will be refunded.
By finalizing your reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all policies stated in this agreement.
