Stony Brook Campground was purchased in June of 2023 by Mike Blais. The campground is situated on 55 acres of land with various sites to accommodate the largest of RV’s, the smallest of tents and also offers two Lean-tos. There are guidelines established to ensure the enjoyment of our campground. These guidelines are reasonable and allow everyone to have a good time while respecting the rights and safety of others. We ask that you follow these few rules:  (Written policy supercedes any verbal communication or perceived understanding of policies here within)

Quiet Time:                              Monday Through Sunday          10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.                                     

We ask that radios and TVs at all times be at such a level that it does not disturb your neighbors. Any use of broadcasting devices be silenced during quite time. Children need to be back at their campsites by quiet time. Firearms and fireworks is prohibited on the campground.

Check IN Time:                      3:00pm.       Check OUT Time:                      11:00am.   

Rec. Hall, Playground, Mini-golf, Shuffleboard Areas.

We want you to enjoy our recreation facilities. We do ask that children be urged to use caution, to play fairly and to leave the equipment in good condition where it was found. Rough play and inappropriate language will not be allowed:

Pool Rules        Normal Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. or until Dark

No swimming alone!! Use the buddy system. Swim at your own risk…. No lifeguard on duty….No diving….No pushing, shoving, rough play. Anyone seen playing roughly will be asked to leave. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult (18 years or older). No glass or PETS in pool area.

Guests may visit and use our facilities. Guests are asked to register upon arrival. Campers are responsible to advise their guests to register and pay fee. We ask that they leave by 9:00 p.m. or register as overnight guests.

Pets must be on a leash at ALL times. Do not leave pets unattended. Registration and current rabies shot required. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR PET! Owners of Dogs that are unleashed, bite or become threatening to another guest will be requested to leave the campground. NO Refunds. All 55 acres of this campground are in use for the enjoyment of all guest.  The use of "wooded areas" and "under brush" to discard pet waste is NOT acceptable. Please be a responsible pet owner and pick up after your pet ON ALL 55 ACRES OF THIS CAMPGROUND.  A Pet Fee has been established to help curtail the amount of waste left by irresponsible owners. Please notify the office immediately if you discover pet waste on the property, staff will be availble for clean up. Guest Initials____________

Campfires are allowed in the fireplaces provided. Firewood is available at the store. Do not cut live trees. Fires must be extinguished with water by midnight.

Alcohol. Drinking age is 21. Please do not walk around with open containers of alcohol in campground.

Smoking PolicyDue to the inordinate amount of discarded cigarette butts throughout campground Smoking will be allowed on your site ONLY! 

Smoking in any other location is not allowed.

Vehicles and vehicle operations - Please, no more than two vehicles per site….assuring that neither obstructs the roadway. Ask where to park additional vehicles. All vehicles must be currently registered. No washing RV’s or vehicles. Only persons with a valid driver’s license may operate a motor vehicle on the campground Parking is allowed on gravel areas ONLY. Please do not park on the grass. Guests assume all responsibility of vehicle safety while operating vehicles, recreational vehicles and motorhomes while on Stony Brook property. Stony Brook attempts to maintain a clear and open path to all sites however it is the guest and vehicle operator’s responsibility to observe overhead obstacles and road conditions to avoid potential damage to vehicle, motorhome or recreational vehicle. Stony Brook assumes no liability for damage done vehicles, motorhomes and / or recreational vehicles while being operated by another person.

Dumpster….located by the barn behind the Store/Office building.  Please do not Leave trash out overnight. 

Mail Delivery – Please see management prior to haveing mail delivered to Stony Brook.

Drones – The use of drones or other remote-controlled machines are strictly prohibited.

Site – Only 1 RV and 2 other vehicles allowed on site, trailers, cargo trailers and car dollies will park in our designated over flow parking lots. No Vehicle Washing on sites.  Please ask about our vehicle washing station.

Store Hours:   Open upon request by guest during your stay from 8:00am to 7:00pm - Please call 207-824-2836 and we will be happy to accomodate your needs.   

Store attended during the following hours:             
Thursday ~ Saturday 3:00pm to 6:00pm - Also available for store purchases Monday through Sunday 8:00am to 8:00pm.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations cancelled 30 or more days in advance will receive a full refund minus a $25.00 cancellation fee.

Reservations cancelled between 8 and 29 days of arrival will receive a a refund, minus a cancellation fee in the amount of 50% of reservation stay

Reservations cancelled less that 7 days of arrival will forfeit a refund of any kind.
