CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY 

  • All cancellations must be made by phone or in person to the Sumpter RV Park office.
  • Cancellations made 72+ hours before arrival receive a full refund minus a $10 transaction fee.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours incur a $40 fee. 
  • No prorating or refunds for early departures or arriving later than your reservation start date.
  • No-Show Fee is equal to full amount of reservation. Fees will be charged to your payment method. If you fail to notify the park that you will not be arriving prior to the 11AM check out time the day following your scheduled arrival date, your reservation will be cancelled.

HOLIDAY CANCELLATIONS

  • Holiday cancellations made 72 hours or more prior to arrival date will be charged $40.00. The Remainder of your deposit will be refunded for original payment type.
  • Holiday cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to arrival date will be charged $100. The balance of your deposit will be refunded.
  • Holiday No-Shows forfeit full payment/deposit. Failure to notify the park will result in a reservation cancellation.

 

IF YOU ARE DUE A REFUND, ALL REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED TO THE ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT.

 

GROUP RESERVATION & CANCELLATION POLICY

To reserve multiple campsites under a single name, we require a deposit and adherence to our group reservation policy. These terms help us manage availability and minimize loss of business due to late cancellations or changes.

What Counts as a Group Reservation?

A group reservation is defined as three (3) or more campsites booked together under one name or for a coordinated group during the same stay dates.

Deposits & Payment Schedule

  • 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your group reservation.

  • The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.

  • If full payment is not received by the due date, the reservation may be canceled, and the deposit forfeited.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival: Deposit is retained, no additional charges.

  • Cancellations made 30–59 days before arrival: 50% of the total reservation will be refunded.

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival: No refunds will be issued.

Partial Site Cancellations

  • Reducing the number of reserved sites within a group:

    • 60+ days before arrival: No fee; deposit retained on dropped sites.

    • 30–59 days before arrival: $50 cancellation fee per dropped site.

    • Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund for dropped sites.

Holiday & Special Event Weekends

  • All policies above apply, but no refunds will be issued for cancellations or site reductions made within 45 days of arrival for:

    • Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day)

    • Town-wide events (Flea Markets, Gold Rush Days, etc.)

  • No early departure refunds during holiday or special event weekends.

No Shows & Early Departures

  • No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.

  • Reserved sites will be held until 12:00pm the day after your scheduled arrival unless prior arrangements are made.

  • Group reservations block out a significant portion of our park. These policies help ensure fairness for all guests and protect our ability to operate efficiently.
