Park Guidelines, Policies, Rules, and Regulations
Welcome to Sun Creek Point RV Resort in Caldwell, Idaho! We are excited to have you as our guest. We trust you will enjoy your stay here and we hope that you will treat our park as you would your own property. The following guidelines are based on common sense, common courtesy, and your best interest so everyone can enjoy what the park has to offer.
These guidelines are simple to follow and will be enforced to ensure the enjoyment of all guests. Please keep the following in mind:
- All guests must register in office upon arrival. If after hours, please check in at the office before 10am the following morning.
- A government-issued photo ID is required at check-in. Please also be prepared to present proof of eligibility for any discounts (Good Sam or military/veteran).
- Payments are due when the reservation is booked online at www.campspot.com. Renewed reservations must be booked through Campspot (online or through our office staff) and are subject to availability.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be considerate of your neighbors.
- Pets are welcome as long as they are on-leash and under your control at all times, and you pick up after them. Dog waste stations are conveniently located around the park. We also have fence-enclosed dog areas and parks where they can enjoy being off-leash.
- For the health and well-being of our guests, Sun Creek Point RV Park is a non-smoking environment. Smoking is not allowed anywhere within the park boundaries including within your RV, travel trailer or vehicle.
- Keep your RV and the area around your site and vehicles clean.
- Respect your neighbor’s space and be courteous to others by not walking through their site.
- Park speed limit is 5 MPH.
- Observe and obey all posted signage throughout the park.
- CHECK-IN 1:00pm / CHECK-OUT 11:00AM. If early check-in or late check-out is available, there is an additional $25 fee. Any checkout after 2PM will be charged for the full night plus tax.
Reservation Process:
Short-term reservations should be made online through the link on our website, PointRV.com or via Campspot at www.campspot.com/book/suncreekrv. Nightly or weekly reservations made by phone or in-person may be subject to an additional convenience booking fee. All guests wishing to stay longer than twenty-one (21) nights are required to call our office at (208) 441-0411 for extended stay availability.
By completing a reservation and payment, and before admission to his/her RV site, guests are agreeing to Sun Creek Point RV Park’s Terms & Conditions.
Payment Policy
All payments are to be made by debit or credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover, or AMEX only). Payment in full is required at the time of reservation for all stays up to 31 days. For extended stays, different payment terms may apply and are described at the end of this document.
Rates are guaranteed at the time of confirming a reservation. Any modifications to an existing reservation are subject to the new rates and conditions at that time.
Cancellation/Refund policy: The purpose of a paid reservation is to assure your booking and make sure we do not offer space that you have reserved to another guest. We do not offer refunds for early departures or changes in travel plans.
Nightly/Weekly (less than 31 nights)
7+ DAYS NOTICE: Full refund less a $25 cancellation fee.
3-6 DAYS NOTICE: Refund less amount equal to one (1) night’s stay.
2 DAYS NOTICE or less: No refund. Guest will forfeit the entire amount of the reservation. At management's discretion, a "camp credit" may be issued for use by the guest at a later date, not more than 365 days from the original reservation date.
The resort does not offer refunds for service disruptions, inclement weather, or other circumstances that are beyond our staff’s ability to control.
Early Check-in/Late Check-out
If early check-in or late check-out is available, there is an additional $25 fee when pre-approved through the park office. Any late checkout after 2PM will be charged for the full night plus tax.
Late check-outs not previously approved will be assessed a $50 late check-out fee, a) if the guest has not disconnected from all utility services provided by the park; b) hasn’t moved their vehicle(s) from the RV site to the nearest exit to the public by the checkout time of 11:00AM. The late check-out fee will be charged to the guest’s card on file.
Site Occupancy: Only one (1) RV is permitted per site and up to two (2) passenger vehicles are permitted per site. There is a maximum occupancy limit of eight (8) persons per site. All vehicles must fit within the site and not encroach on common areas or the roadways.
Speed limit/Vehicles: The speed limit on the park property is 5 mph. This speed limit is enforced for all motorized vehicle types including cars, RVs, scooters, ATVs, golf carts, etc. Vehicle speed limits must be observed. All vehicles must have a visible parking pass. Anyone operating a motorized vehicle or golf cart must have a valid Driver’s License. Vehicles must be operated in a safe, courteous, and cautious manner at all times. Pedestrians, bicyclists and electric carts shall be granted the right of way. Guests and visitors must obey all posted traffic control signs (i.e., stop signs, no parking signs, speed limit signs, etc.). The park may prohibit any vehicle which, in the sole discretion of Resort Management, emits excessive noise. Operating any vehicle in the park under the influence of drugs or alcohol is cause for immediate removal from the premises.
RV Age/Requirements: For reservations longer than 21 days, RVs older than 10 years must be pre-approved. The RV year, make, model and license plate must be noted on the reservation. Proof of insurance and registration is also required at the time of reservation. RVs that have undergone full restorations are allowed with prior approval. Exceptions will need to be approved in writing in advance of the stay with accompanying photos and signed by Management.
Site Assignment/Changes: The park staff assign specific sites based on site type preference and availability. If a specific site, or in the case of multi-site reservations, being grouped together is preferred, arrangements must be made in advance by contacting the Sun Creek office at (208) 441-0411.
Quiet time: 10 pm to 8 am - All buildings including Clubhouse, Pool and Gym Areas are closed during these hours. Loud parties, excessive volume of radios, televisions, musical instruments, or any other excessive noise, will not be allowed at any time. Tenants must not disturb the quiet enjoyment of the resort for others.
Generators: Full electric hookups are provided by the resort; therefore, the long-term use of any generator is not permitted. Guests may use generators during daylight hours only for up to 45 minutes.
Private Business/Soliciting: No door-to-door solicitations of any kind is permitted. A solicitation by one tenant without prior invitation of another tenant is prohibited by this rule. If solicited on the park premises, please contact Management. The property is a private business operated by Sun Creek RV Park, LLC. No other businesses may be operated from this address without express written approval from the park ownership team.
Special Rules/Facilities: Special rules pertaining to the pool, clubhouse, laundry room, and other Resort equipment and facilities are posted at these locations. These special rules constitute a part of these Rules and Regulations, and violation of them will be treated as a violation of these Rules and Regulations. Sun Creek management has the right to remove without notice any person from any facility who is unauthorized, creates a disturbance, causes a nuisance or damage, or in any way interferes with the operation of the park or its facilities.
Trespassing: Resort Management has the right to prevent access to the Resort and to remove anyone other than approved Guests and Visitors who Management deems objectionable. Objectionable persons include (but are not limited to) persons engaged or previously engaged in criminal activity in the Resort; persons who have previously materially violated Resort rules or have been disruptive in the Resort, and/or people who were previously removed from the Resort for any reason. Resort management reserves the right to trespass from the Resort anyone who is not an approved Guest or occupant.
Campfires/Fires/Fireworks: Fire Pits must be professionally designed for use for that purpose and are Propane Only, must be raised off the ground, and must have a screened cover. Man-made firepits are prohibited. The Resort retains absolute discretion as to whether a fire pit is permissible and, upon demand by the Resort, a fire pit must be removed. See Guest Services for current information on fire restrictions. “No burn” days or other burning restrictions must be observed. Fireworks are prohibited. Lighting of any fireworks in the Resort is prohibited and will result in immediate removal.
Firearms: Firearms may not be worn in the Resort or openly displayed except by sworn law enforcement personnel at any time except as provided below (restrictions not applicable to sworn law enforcement personnel). Violation of any of these firearm restrictions by any tenants, occupants, guests, or visitors will result in removal from the Resort. Tenants, occupants, guests, and visitors:
A. May carry a firearm in personal vehicles and may store a firearm in a locked vehicle while in the Resort, as long as any such firearm is not visible from outside the vehicle.
B. May have a firearm that is kept secured within the RV or lodging/glamping unit.
C. May carry a firearm between vehicles and the RV in a box, holster, or other device that does not display the firearm to others.
D. No firearms are permitted in the Guest Services Office nor at any Resort facilities at any time.
E. May not threaten another tenant, guest, occupant, visitor, or staff with a firearm, whether the firearm is displayed or not.
F. May not unlawfully discharge a firearm anywhere in the Resort for any reason at all.
Pool and Spas: Hours are 8am-9pm. The Resort reserves the right to close the pool area for maintenance, training, weather and/or other Management purposes. Rules regarding use of the swimming pool area are posted in the pool area and must be observed.
Glassware, food, and pets are not allowed in the pool area. Service or assistive animals may enter the pool area but must be attended to by their owner.
Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or an adult guardian in the pool areas.

All use of the pool area is at the user’s own risk. The Resort assumes no responsibility or liability for physical problems or personal injury connected with the use of the pool. It is strongly recommended that no person use the swimming pool unless accompanied by at least one other person.
All persons must wear a swimsuit in the pool. Street clothes are not permitted in the pool and spas. Nudity is strictly prohibited at the pool area and in all the Resort’s common areas.
Anyone who is incontinent must wear a swim diaper or rubber pants designed for pool use. Intentional urination and/or defecation in the pool is prohibited.
Swimmers may not use any objects in the pool that may leave rust stains or damage the filters or pool equipment.
No running, horseplay, or unsafe activity of any kind is allowed in or around the pools. Jumping or diving into the pool is prohibited.
Each person using the pool must respect the rights of others. Any person who is a substantial annoyance to others using the pool may be required to leave the pool area.
No person who does not know how to swim may use the pool unless accompanied by at least one person who knows how to swim and who can assist a non-swimmer in the event of an emergency. All people using the pool are requested not to swim alone under any circumstances as no lifeguards are on duty.
NO LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY IN THE POOL AREA. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Inexperienced swimmers must be accompanied by experienced swimmers while using the pools, spas, or splash pad.
Resort Management reserves the right to revoke permission to use the pool area for non-compliance with these pool rules.
Pets/Animals: Up to two pets are allowed at no charge. An additional pet is permitted for an a charge of $3 per day. The maximum number of pets per RV site is three, including indoor pets.
Noisy or aggressive pets are not allowed in the Resort. Barking, growling, snarling, crying, howling, and other noises that disturb others are cause for revoking permission to keep a pet. Aggressive or vicious behavior is cause for revoking permission to keep a pet.
When outside of the RV or other unit, pets must be on a six foot or less leash. A small temporary enclosure (not to exceed 8ft x 8ft x 42” high) on each site is allowed so long as the pet(s) is attended. Pets may not be left unattended on the site or anywhere in the Resort. Tethering a pet to common area or on RV site is not allowed. Pets are not allowed to enter any occupied or vacant sites. A pet found to be off leash or outside an enclosure is cause for revoking the privilege to keep a pet.
Pet waste receptacles are located throughout the Resort. Pet waste must immediately be cleaned up and properly disposed of. Fines or revocation of pet priveleges may be imposed if you are found to not be cleaning up after your pets.
We require extended-stay guests to register their pets with the park’s PooPrints DNA registry for pet waste management.
Except in the Dog Wash area, only service animals and assistive animals are allowed inside the Clubhouse, Gymnasium, Laundry, and Bathhouse buildings.
Extended stay guests must have proof of their pet’s vaccinations available. Each tenant must comply with all applicable state, city, and county requirements with respect to licensing, vaccinations, and leash laws.
Feeding and/or watering of stray and/or wild animals, including but not limited to cats, is prohibited. Breeding animals is prohibited.
Exceptions to these pet restrictions will be made pursuant to the ADA and fair housing laws.
Dog Park: The enclosed dog parks are open during daylight hours. Dogs are allowed off-leash only while in the dog park(s). All other posted policies must be adhered to when using the dog park(s) including cleaning up after your pet(s).
Trash: Place all garbage in designated dumpsters. The locations are indicated on the resort map. All trash must be bagged and tied/sealed before being placed in the dumpster. All boxes must be broken down. Tenants may not dispose of business or commercial trash in the Resort. Do not enter any garbage containers to remove any refuse. Dumping large items such as furniture, mattresses, appliances, large landscape trimmings, etc. is prohibited. These items may not be placed in/or next to the Resort dumpsters. Tenants will be charged a removal and disposal fee for large items left in the dumpster or surrounding area.
Prior to admission to his/her site, by completing rental payment, guests agree to Sun Creek Point RV Park’s Terms & Conditions. The Terms & Conditions agreement does not constitute a Landlord/Tenant relationship. Blocked Guests in our online reservation system are not authorized on site and must receive Management approval to change blocked status.
MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY AND/OR EVICT ANY PARK RESIDENT OR PERSON AT ANY TIME.
Tenants/Guests are responsible for any damage they caused to the RV park.
Management is not responsible for damage, injury, or loss to either person or property. The owner/management of Sun Creek Point RV Park absolve themselves from all liability and responsibility pertaining to loss by fire, theft, weather, acts of God, property damage, accident or any other cause whatsoever, and guest agree to save, protect and hold harmless Sun Creek RV LLC from all such liability.
All Tenants/Guests must abide by and act in accordance with all City of Caldwell ordinances.
Any customer or guest destroying/damaging park or other customer’s property will be required to make restitution. If your RV has an electrical problem creating a problem with the park electric connection panel and a certified electrician has to be called, you will be responsible for the cost of the electrician’s service call and damages.
The Park reserves the right to charge guests accordingly for any damages they cause to the grounds and/or park facilities, including but not limited to broken water lines, damages to sewer connections, landscaping, etc.
The Park reserves the right to disconnect utilities in order that repair, alterations or additions may be made. Guests will be notified, when possible, of any planned utility system shutdown.
The Park shall not be responsible for any loss suffered by any guest from planned or emergency shutdowns.
Sun Creek Point RV Park retains the right to alter and modify any of the Guidelines, Policies, Rules and Regulations in keeping with the fairness and best interest of all participants.
Management’s decisions in all disputes are deemed final. Violation of these guidelines, policies, rules, and regulations that result in damage or destruction to Sun Creek Point RV Park property or threaten the safety of park guests will result in the termination of your stay.
Additionally, park management reserves all rights to terminate guests’ stay for any reason.
