Watercraft Safety

All boats, not at rental docks, and trailers must be parked at the Boat trailer/ overflow parking only.  Never in your site.  Boats and trailers must be registered at the office.

On the water surrounding the resort, there is a "no wake zone", including the entire Northern bay of the Blue Lake and the South end of Park Lake. The no-wake zones are clearly marked by floats or buoys. These no-wake zones apply to all watercraft of any type. The penalties for violation of the no-wake zones or other state and county boating safety laws are very costly. Life jackets are required for each person in your watercraft One throwable float cushion is required by the state and county law. Children 14 years of age and under must have a life jacket on when they are on or in any watercraft. Adults must have a life jacket available in their craft for each person at all times. The law does not require the adult to wear them at all times.  Do not tie off to the swimming rope or anchor anywhere near the swimming area or you will be asked to leave with no refund.  This has been causing damage to the shoreline and our property.

Boat Rentals

Boat rentals are from dawn to dusk the same day. Life jackets for each person, and one throwable cushion, are required with any watercraft rental from the resort. Boats or paddle bikes and canoes must be returned to our marina docks each night so that they can be accounted for and to protect them from wind and wave damage.  Boats not in use must be parked on a dock and if seen tied to a tree or pulled to shore will be taken back to docks with rest of rental cancelled and any damages charged to the renter.  You will not be refunded the rental fee.

  • Rental restrictions for boat rentals are:

    • Boat without motor: Passengers must be 16 years of age or older and monitored by an adult at all times.
