Park Rules
Violators of any rule set forth by the RV Park may be asked to leave with NO REFUND. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with all of the rules and policies of the park.
1. Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are between 10 pm and 7 am. Loud or boisterous behavior is not permitted. Our RV Park is a family friendly establishment, and we reserve the right to refuse check-in or to ask anyone to leave with NO REFUND.
2. Responsibility: Tenants are responsible for the safety and actions of their children and guests. Sweetwater RV Park and management are not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of guest’s personal property; for accidents; or injuries to tenants, children, guests or pets. Tenant assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Landlord/Owners harmless from and indemnify Landlord/Owner against the same.
3. Condition: All Motorhomes, RV, or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.
4. Early Departures: There will be NO REFUNDS for early departures.
5. Campfires: Campfires are ONLY allowed in fire pits or rings in accordance with county ordinances. All county ordinances should be followed. The Bedford County Burn Ban ordinances can be obtained by calling 1-540-586-7827.
6. Parking: Parking is only allowed in the designated parking area. Tenants are not permitted to park on other sites nor in the grass areas of the park.
7. Motorized Vehicles: ATVs, gas powered scooters, and go-carts are NOT permitted to be driven in the park. Golf carts are permitted as long as they do not disrupt other campers/sites. All operators must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid driver’s license. All golf carts must be kept on the access roads and not driven through the sites and common areas of the park.
8. Fireworks: NO FIREWORKS or FIREARMS allowed in the park.
9. Alcohol: No public display of alcohol or disorderly conduct. No illegal substances or under-aged drinking allowed at any time.
10. Park Speed: Guests must obey the park speed limit of 5 mph.
11. Clotheslines: Clotheslines are not permitted.
12. Vandalism: Vandalism of any kind by anyone in your group, regardless of age, will result in eviction from the park.
13. Conduct: Profanity or violence towards other guests or park staff will result in immediate eviction from the park.
14. Trees/Facilities: Guests may not hang any items from the trees nor tether animals to our trees or facilities.
15. Water: No washing of vehicles, RVs, or boats as we are on private wells. Please report any leaking or dripping water hydrants to the office.
16. Pets: Pets are allowed on campsites, dog parks, or common walking areas ONLY and must remain on a six-foot leash. You must clean up after your pet. DO NOT leave pets outside unattended. All pets need to be up to date on vaccinations. Any guest with a pet that exhibits aggressive behavior or barks uncontrollably will be asked to leave with NO REFUND. MAXIMUM OF 2 PETS PER SITE
17. Laundry: The laundry room is open 24/7 with a pass code entrance. Please do not leave your laundry unattended. Once it has completed wash/dy we ask that you promptly finish so that others may use our facility. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.
18. Restrooms: For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with the exception of temporary closing for cleaning. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean. Guests under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by their parents.
19. Visitors: All visitors MUST register in the main office. There will be a $5.00 charge per visitor per day. Visitors may not bring pets into the park. Any unregistered guest will be asked to leave the park.
20. Electrical Use: You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in your RV. Amp usage over the 50 AMP provided can trip your breakers. Please notify the office immediately if you experience any electrical issues. Guests are NOT permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals.
21. Check-In & Check Out: Check-In is after 1:00pm and Check-Out is before 12:00 Noon.
22. Clean Up: The site MUST BE LEFT CLEAN. You MUST REMOVE ALL TRASH AND PLACE IT IN THE DUMPSTER. There will be a $25.00 charge made to your credit card if any trash/damage is found on the site.
23. Additional Fees: Campsite rates are based on a family of four, two vehicles, and one piece of camping equipment. Extra cars are $3.00 per day and must be parked in designated parking areas, not on the grass. Unregistered cars could be towed.
24. Outdoor Mats/Rugs: Rugs are NOT permitted on grass areas. A $50.00 fee will be charged for any site that has to be repaired due to the use of any item that harms grass areas.
25. Pool: The pool is OPEN from 10 a.m. to dark. There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Please supervise children and any child under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Swim at your own risk. Horseplay, running, and diving is not permitted in our pool area. NO ALCOHOL, GLASS, FOOD, OR PETS allowed in the pool area. All food and drinks must be kept and consumed at the pavilion adjacent to the pool. All guests must be accompanied by the tenant at all times and abide by and are subject to the park rules.
26. Insects and wildlife: Please take precautions as Sweetwater RV is located in the country; there may be insects and wildlife. Sweetwater RV cannot be responsible for Mother Nature.
27. TRESSPASSING: IS PROHIBITED ON ADJOINING PROPERTY.
I HEREBY REALEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Sweetwater RV Park, its owners, agents, management, or staff. I accept ALL liability to me, my children, guests, and pets. I hereby agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless Sweetwater RV Park and all affiliates from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to the use of the premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that while Sweetwater RV Park makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.
