The Cove at Tenkiller, Vian, Oklahoma

General:

  • Tenants and guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets.
  • The resort is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicles.
  • We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.
  • The Cove at Tenkiller does not allow the delivery of mail or packages to any guests. Guests must make arrangements or purchase a PO Box for mail delivery.
  • All motorhomes, RVs or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance. Any model older than 10 years, must have pictures submitted to the park manager for approval.
  • Speed limit on the property is 10 mph

Check In / Check Out

  • Temporary spot reservations: Check in starts at 12:00 pm CST and entitles you to your site until 11:00 am CST the day of check out. 

Site Changes:

  • You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move, please check with the office. Due to reservations and Cookson Hills electric accounts, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Open Fires:

  • Self-contained fires must be in firepits or designated fire rings. Approval of firepit or ring must be approved by the park manager.

Parking:

  • Please do not drive or park your vehicle, trailer or boat on the grass as the ground is soft due to new construction. Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges.
  • Please do NOT block any portion of the roadway.
  • Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 2 vehicles per site unless noted. Extra vehicles will need be to be parked in additional parking spots.
  • Please be considerate with guests onsite. Extra guest parking will be available at designated locations.

Storage:

  • Storage units at the campsite are not permitted. Any storage under or around your RV must be in storage containers.

Site and Park Navigation:

  • Please be respectful of your neighbor and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads to walk around the campground.

Park Maintenance:

  • We will have designated maintenance days to mow, spray and weed eat around each campsite. We ask you keep all your personal belongings on the concrete pads. If your belongings are on the grass resulting in us mowing around them, an additional fee of $20.00 will be applied after the first warning.

Rugs:

  • We do not allow rugs on the grass at any camp sites. Please keep all rugs on the concrete. 

Tents:

  • Tents are not permitted at any campsite.

ATV's, Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles and Golf Carts:

  • OHV's are welcome onsite, but please stay on the roads and off of the grass.
  • Speed limit of 5mph. 
  • Performing donuts or any similar driving maneuvers in the gravel area is strictly prohibited.

Severe Weather:

  • In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the storm shelters, located by the bathrooms. We love pets, so please bring them with you and please do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings.

Laundry:

  • The laundry room is open 24/7 to registered guests. Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.
  • Please respect the equipment when using.
  • Please do not give the laundry room code to additional guests.

Restrooms:

  • For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with the exception of temporary closing for cleaning. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean.

Quiet Time Policies:

  • Quiet Time is 11 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

Trash Disposal and Recycling:

  • Dumpsters are located throughout the park. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the dumpster. If the dumpster is full, please find another container. Please do not place your trash on the ground.

Children:

  • Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Anyone under the age of 18 must be back at their campsite by dusk.
  • You are responsible for your children

Clotheslines:

  • Clotheslines are permitted in our park for beach towels only

Fireworks and Firearms:

  • Fireworks are not permitted inside the park.
  • Firearms are permitted but must obey all Oklahoma Firearm Laws.

Repairs:

  • Repairs to RVs and vehicles are not permitted in our park. We are happy to recommend a local Mobil RV Repair service.

Carports:

  • Carports are permitted but color must be approved prior to installation

Decks:

  • No decks are permitted at campsites

 

Pet Policies:

Leash:

  • We ask that you keep your pet on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet and other guests and other guests' pets stay safe.

Cleaning Up After Your Pet:

  • Be a good neighbor and please clean up after your pet. Do not let your pet deposit waste on any of your neighbors’ campsites. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in your being asked to leave without a refund.

Leaving Pets Unattended:

  • Pets may not be left unattended in the park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave.

Pet Vaccinations:

  • Due to Insurance Requirements, all pets must be vaccinated in our park. Please make sure your pet's shots are up to date.

Barking:

  • Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbors. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave.
