TGO Rules & Regulations:

NO TRUCK CAMPERS, NO HORSE TRAILER CAMPERS, NO POP UP CAMPERS, NO TENTS, RV'S MUST BE AT LEASE 18FT LONG.  NO MOTORCYCLES.    RV'S MUST BE SELF CONTAINED. 

1.      The Great Outdoors is private property. We reserve the right to select our clientele and visitors.

2.      Resort guests must register at The Welcome Center upon arrival. All visitors of guests must be registered with Security before their arrival.

3.     Maximum occupancy per site: 6 persons.  The use of formaldehyde-based waste tank treatment chemicals is prohibited.

4.      No motorcycle riding allowed in resort, except in commercial areas where designated and in Hidden Lakes and Addison Preserve.

5.      No tents allowed in resort. Swimming is not permitted in the lakes.  Feeding the wildlife is prohibited, including alligators.        

6.     No walking or riding, carts or bicycles on golf course. 15 mile per hour speed limit will be enforced.    

7.    Only two pets are allowed per site. All pets must be on leashes at all times and messes must be cleaned up by their owners. Animals are the exclusive responsibility of their owners. Noisy pets will not be allowed. All immunization records must be kept up to date
This is a Florida State law. Pets are not allowed in the following areas: all buildings, bathhouses, pool area, shuffleboard, horseshoes, tennis courts, golf course, or nature trails.

8.   Coin-operated laundry facilities are available 24 hours daily.  Quiet hours are from 11pm-7am. No use of generators.  We are not responsible for personal property.

9.    Check-in time is after 12:00 noon. Check-out time is by noon. Please re-register by 10:00 AM if you would like to extend your stay.

10.    A two-car maximum is allowed per site. No car repairs will be allowed in the park. Only holders of a valid driver’s license are permitted to operate a vehicle of any kind, including golf carts. No signage allowed on vehicles.

11.    No open campfires will be allowed. Charcoal fires in grills will be allowed.   

 12.  Garbage for pickup for your unit must be placed at the curbside in a secured plastic bag by 9am. Pickup will begin at 10 AM every day. Do not leave trash outside overnight.

13.    Pool rules are posted at pool entrance. No lifeguard on duty.  No discharge of firearms or fireworks will be allowed.

14.    The owner/management of The Great Outdoors absolve themselves from all liability and responsibility pertaining to loss by fire, theft, property damage, accident or any other cause whatsoever.

15.    The use of formaldehyde-based waste tank treatment chemicals is prohibited.

16.    Rules and regulations may be changed at any time without prior notice. NO REFUNDS ON EARLY DEPARTURES!

17.    All RV sites are privately owned. At the owner’s request, we ask that you use jack pads or blocks before lowering your jacks.
