The Ridge Campground

CANCELLATION POLICY

Holiday weekends can be Cancelled but are NON-REFUNDABLE. ( Holidays are the Monday before to the Monday After )

Reservations Cancelled prior to 14 days of the arrival date of the reservation,  are refundable minus a $45.00 cancellation fee.

Reservations Cancelled less than 14 days of the arrival date are NON-REFUNDABLE.

ALL reservations are NON-TRANSFERABLE

Campsites
Check in time - 3:00PM.
Check out time - 1:00PM. 

Cabins
Check in time - 3:00PM.
Check out time 11:00AM. 

Early Check IN / Late Check out

No check ins before 12:00 Noon

If accommodated, $10.00 per hour.
NO REFUNDS for early check out .

Quiet Hours
11:00PM - 8:00AM

  • Be courteous to your neighbors.
  • Parents are responsible for children’s actions.
  • Children / Teens are to be back at site by 10:00PM, unless accompanied by parent.

Pool Hours
10:00AM - 7:00PM Daily
From Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend. The pool at The Ridge Campground is not supervised by a ­Lifeguard! The following safeguards put into place by TRC Management are to be followed by all guests.

  • NYS law - There must be 2 Adults 18 or older at the pool, with at least 1 Adult on deck at all times.
  • Children MUST be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian.
  • In case of EMERGENCY call 911 and then notify TRC Management.
  • No Glass Bottles.
  • No Alcohol.
  • No pets.
  • No smoking / including electronic cigarettes
  • No rafts or floats. 
  • See Sign Posted at Pool.
  • TRC is not liable for lost, damaged or stolen property nor for any injury to any person.
  • The pool can only be used during posted Hours of ­Operation.
    Only Registered Guests may use the pool.

Prohibited Items

  • No Fireworks.
  • No BB guns, paintball guns, sling shots, firearms of any kind, bows.
  • No chainsaws.
  • No mini bikes.
  • No mopeds.
  • No Little Tikes battery operated carts.
  • No little kids swimming pools, slip n slides or sprinklers, etc.
  • No Tree Hung Hammocks
  • No Golf Carts ( only allowed via staff and seasonal site holders)

Visitors

  • All visitors MUST REGISTER and pay fee at Camp Office.
  • Day visitors must be out of campground by 10:00PM.
  • Night visitors must be out of campground by 10am.
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring pets.
  • Visitors are not allowed to bring golf carts. 

Pets

  • Must be on a leash (no longer than 6').
  • Do not “Tie Out” pets to trees, etc.
  • Must provide current proof of Rabies Vaccine at check in.
  • NO PETS (other than service dogs) are allowed in Store, Cafe, Laundry Area, Rec Hall or Pool.
  • NO PETS Allowed in any TRC Rental Camper or Cabin
  • CLEAN up after your pet and dispose of properly.
  • Two dogs max per site.
  • Management reserves the right to not allow certain pets on premise.

Garbage

Please place all garbage in dumpster located by the store.
NO TRASH PICK UP provided at sites.

Water usage

The use of water to wash camping units , automobiles,  and using kiddie pools, sprinklers and water slides is PROHIBITED.

Vehicles

  • 2 per campsite no parking on roads.
  • Extra vehicles park in overflow area. 

Bikes

  • All riders ages 14 and under MUST wear a helmet.
  • Do not park bikes in front of store,
  • NO riding bikes after dusk. 

Trees

  • NO Defacing of any tree.
  • Trees on TRC Property may not be used for firewood.
  • Do not hang clotheslines between trees. 

Campfires

  • All campfires are to be built in supplied fire ring.
  • Do not move fire rings!  If rings are moved from previous spot you will be charged $25.00
  • No fires left unattended, EVER!
  • Always extinguish fire when leaving site.
  • Fire wood can be purchased at TRC office, no burning of any wood found on campground premises.
  • If you leave trash in burn rings, including cigarette butts you will be charged  $25.00 

Firewood Rules

NYSDEC has determined that firewood is a potential source of deadly invasive pests that have already killed more than 50 Million trees neighboring our state. It is ­ILLEGAL to bring untreated firewood into New York State or transport untreated firewood more than 50 miles from its source. You can bring your own firewood to TRC as long as you have a “Proof of Source” document, Certificate of Transport and Processes of New York. For your convenience, you can purchase firewood at our campground store. 

Right of Management

The Ridge Campground is a privately owned campground and ­reserves the right to evict any person or family, who in our opinion is violating the rules, vandalizing, creating a disturbance, etc. NO REFUNDS!  

LIABILITY WAIVER AND HOLD HARMLESS

In consideration for myself, and all persons entering under my supervision, being permitted to camp and participate in the activities at The Ridge Campground, I and all persons listed below, agree to the following waiver and release:

I hereby knowingly and intentionally waive and release, indemnify and hold harmless, The Ridge Campground, of all liability for injuries or disease caused by, but not limited to, the following activities:  campfires, hiking, fishing, swimming, playground equipment, planned events, dogs, showers,  bounce house, slip-n-slide, bicycles, golf carts, and encounters with wildlife.  I acknowledge that camping has many hazards and that there are risks that cannot be eliminated, particularly in a wilderness environment.

I hereby acknowledge that The Ridge Campground is not responsible for any theft, loss or damage incurred during my stay.

My signature below confirms that I have read and agree to abide by all campground and COVID-19 rules and policies at The Ridge Campground.  I also understand that I can be asked to leave the property, without refund, for failure to follow said rules and policies.  A copy of the rules can be found in my campground map, and/or provided as supplemental materials.

I hereby consent to photographs and videos taken of me and all parties listed below during our stay at The Ridge Campground for event documentation and promotion of The Ridge Campground.  Names will not be published.

My signature confirms that I have a valid rabies certificates for any pets in my party.  A copy will be provided if necessary. 

I have reviewed and read the Swimming Pool policies mandated by New York State and the Livingston County Department of Health  The Swimming Pool policies are as follows but are not limited to:

  • THERE ARE NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY- swim at your own risk
  • NEVER SWIM ALONE- A minimum of two adults 18 years of age and older must be present whenever the swimming facility is in use, with at least 1 adult on deck at all times.
  • Children must be accompanied by a parent or adult who is responsible for the children and their behavior
  • IN AN EMERGENCY, notify staff and contact help immediately.  A phone is located in the store.  Emergency numbers are posted.
  • Swimming is permitted only during posted hours of operation.

I have read the above carefully; I clearly understand and voluntarily sign this waiver and release agreement.  I have also discussed this waiver with all persons in my party and they have authorized me to sign this waiver on their behalf.
