CAMPGROUND RULES & REGULATIONS

Rules & Regulations are subject to change at any time. Please review these prior to making a reservation and use of our campgrounds.

All reservations for Three Creeks Campground require full payment at the time you reserve your campsite. Online and phone reservations must be paid by credit card. Reservations made in person must be paid in full upon arrival by cash, debit, or credit card through the office.  

By creating a reservation, the customer agrees to abide by all terms & conditions, rules and regulations that are the conditions of a camping reservation. The customer also agrees to be bound by the cancellation policies in effect.

REGISTRATION

  • Know your site before arriving. You may be asked at any time to present your receipt and/or identification as proof of registration.
  • One vehicle and one camping unit maximum per campsite. A camping unit is defined as a tent, tent trailer, travel trailer, truck camper, motorhome, or fifth wheel. Additional units must be approved by the Campground Host prior to setting up.
  • Additional vehicle parking is available in designated and marked areas.
  • Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Early check-in may be available starting at 1:00 pm.  
  • Check-out time is 11:00 am. Guests wishing to extend their stay must contact the office or Campground Host during the Threshermen’s Reunion Festival for availability by 10:00 am. Extending your stay is subject to campsite availability. Relocation to a different site may be required. 
  • Use of air conditioning units on 15-amp service IS NOT PERMITTED.

LATE ARRIVALS

We understand there are times when your arrival may be delayed. We will hold your site until 11:00 am the next day before cancellation. If you cannot arrive by 11:00 am the next day, you must call the museum office at 204-637-2354 to request a later in day check-in and confirm it can be accommodated. Sites with late arrivals will not be held for more than one night and will be cancelled as a “no-show” with all fees forfeit.

 

VISITORS

  • Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of any visitor at their campsite.  
  • Noncompliance with Campground Rules & Policies will result in the removal of visitors and/or registered guests.
  • Only registered guests are allowed in the campground after 11:00 pm. 

 

QUIET TIME

  • Campground Quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am
  • Designated open area camping approved for generator use is available. This area is unassigned camping sites with a first-come, first-serve availability. Please refer to the campground host upon arrival to inquire about availability.   Generator use is only permitted in the designated area between 9:01am to 10:59 pm.
  • Use of generators in assigned numbered campsites within the campground is NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME.
  • Generators are not to be in use when the campsite permit holder or immediate family are not present at the campsite.  
  • Loud music, parties and disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and will result in being removed from the campground. 

PETS

  • Maximum 3 pets per campsite.
  • Guests are responsible for all removal of feces and disposing appropriately in waste receptacles. ‘Poop and scoop’ always applies at the campground and on museum grounds.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets. 
  • Aggressive behavior, excessive barking or disruptions by pets will not be tolerated. 
  • All pets must be kept within your campsite perimeter and always under control.
  • All pets must always be on a leash.  
  • In the case of a conflict between a pet and a person, the person will be given the benefit of doubt. Pet owners may be asked to remove their pet from the grounds. 

SPEED LIMIT

  • The speed limit is always 15 km/hour. 
  • All motorized vehicles must always give pedestrians the right of way.

 

ALCOHOL & CANNABIS

  • Alcohol can only be consumed at a registered campsite.
  • Open alcohol is not permitted outside of your campsite.
  • Cannabis consumption is not permitted.
  • Public drunkenness and rowdiness will not be tolerated. 
  • Excessive noise or disturbance that intrudes on another camper will not be tolerated.
  • Failure to comply with these rules will result in enforcement actions by Campground Security which may include being charged by the RCMP and/or being evicted from the Three Creeks Campground. Serious offences may result in indefinite eviction. No refunds will be given for the unused portion of the reservation.  

WATER, WASTE & PREMISES

  • Please fill your water tank and disconnect from the tap. Do not stay connected to the city water line.
  • Disposal of sewer and grey water is only permitted at the Campground Dump Station. Dumping wastewater or sewage underneath trailers or anywhere in the campgrounds is prohibited.
  • Public washroom & shower facilities are included in your camping fees. Please conserve water and leave the showers neat. 
  • Please keep your campsite clean and tidy. Garbage is to be bagged and deposited in the garbage cans provided.  Recycle bins are provided throughout the grounds. Campers are encouraged to recycle. 

 

CAMPFIRES

NO FIRES ARE PERMITTED - OF ANY KIND, DURING THE THRESHERMEN’S REUNION FESTIVAL WEEK.

  • During the regular camping season:
    • Guests must obey all restrictions when a municipal or provincial fire ban when in effect.
    • Registered guests must make a request with the office to obtain a fire permit in advance.
    • Wood firepits and propane fire bowls of any type are NOT PERMITTED IN ANY TREED CAMPSITE AREAS.  

 

DISCLAIMERS

  • Three Creeks Campground staff and volunteers assume no responsibility for accidents, lost, damaged or stolen property. Please lock your valuables and vehicles and secure your camping items to prevent theft.  
  • Three Creeks Campground assumes no liability for any injuries or illnesses of any registered guests or visitors. 
  •  The Three Creeks Campground is a family-friendly facility. Any offensive, abusive language, imagery, gestures or threatening behavior towards staff, volunteers, security and other visitors WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. Violation of this will result in expulsion of the entire group from the campground and Manitoba Agricultural Museum grounds immediately.

 

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

  • A non-refundable $10.00 administration fee applies to all reservation cancellations.
  • If you cancel 7 (seven) or more days before your arrival date, you will receive a full refund, less the non-refundable reservation fee.
  • If you cancel 6 (six) or less days before arrival, you will receive a refund, less the non-refundable reservation fee and the first night’s camping fee.
  • A refund will not be issued, and all fees are forfeited for failure to cancel your reservation or if you do not show up for your stay. A ‘No Show’ is a reservation that has not been claimed by 12:00 midnight on the arrival date. The site will become available to new campers.
  • No refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
  • There are no refunds on early departures for claimed bookings during the Threshermen’s Reunion Festival.
  • Campers evicted from the grounds for any reason in violation of the rules and regulations are not eligible for any reimbursement.

Camping is an outdoor experience. Therefore, no refunds will be approved for the discomforts of nature including rain. snow, winds, temperature changes and insects.
