Trails 2 Paradise Rules

  • CHECK-IN - 3:00PM   /   CHECK-OUT - 10:00AM
  • EACH CABIN SLEEPS 6 GUESTS
    • No more than 6 guests per cabin unless written consent is received from Trail 2 Paradise management.
    • A charge of $25 per person per night will be charged if over cabin occupancy.
  • BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR PROPERTY AND OTHERS AROUND YOU.
  • WATCH FOR KIDS! NO SPEEDING!
  • NO SMOKING!
  • NO PETS!
  • KEEP THE CABINS AND OUTSIDE PROPERTY CLEAN. 
    • CABINS LEFT EXCESSIVELY DIRTY WILL BE CHARGED.
    • NO MUDDY CLOTHES OR SHOES INSIDE THE CABINS.
    • ​​​​​​​LEAVE DIRTY TOWELS IN THE SHOWERS WHEN YOU LEAVE.
    • CLEAN OUT REFRIDGERATOR
    • PUT TRASH IN PROVIDED TRASH CONTAINERS.
    • If you would like cleaning during your stay please notify Trails 2 Paradise soon as possible to see if that can be arranged. Cleanings during guests' stay will be charged to the guest.
  • CAMPFIRES ONLY IN PROVIDED FIRE PITS.
    • ​​​​​​​NEVER LEAVE A FIRE UNATTENDED.
    • FOLLOW ALL LOCAL LAWS IN REGARDS TO FIRE BANS, ETC.
  • ​​​​​​​ENTER CREEK AT YOUR OWN RISK
    • ​​​​​​​The creek is shallow so no jumping into the creek.
    • If you or anyone in your party chooses to enter the creek, the person entering the creek assumes all risks associated with doing so.
    • There is a life ring on the tree near the creek if it is needed. If you have to use the life ring please hang it and all the rope back on the tree neatly.
  • ​​​​​​​SECURITY CAMERAS ARE PLACED AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE PROPERTY FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY.
  • ​​​​​​​GUESTS' ASSUME ALL RISKS RELATED TO STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO ANY ACTIVITIES THAT HAPPEN ON OR OFF THE PROPERTY DURING YOUR STAY WITH US. TRAILS 2 PARADISE CAN NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES, ACCIDENTS, ILLNESSES, DAMAGES OR THEFT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY, OR ANY OTHER CLAIMS ARISING FROM GUESTS' STAY AT OUR PROPERTY.

Cabin Retreat Rules
These rules apply to all of the property, no matter which cabin you are staying in.

  1. These cabins are our personal family homes. Treat them with respect and care.Behavior Policy
    1. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Cabins will be inspected within 24 hours of departure and Guest accepts charges for assessed damages within 72 hours of 10:00 AM on their scheduled check out day. Guest will receive email notification at the time of charge to email on file.
    2. This includes missing items from the cabin. Items taken from the cabin will be charged double the actual cost of the item.
      • Example: Hairdryer is taken from the cabin. Hairdryer costs $25. Guest will be charged $50.
    3. Guest listed on booking invoice is responsible for themselves and every person in their group. This includes visitors visiting the property but not staying at the property.
    4. Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of thier children at all times.
    5. Drunken and disorderly conduct will result in immediate removal from the property without refund.
  2. DRIVE SLOW! KIDS AT PLAY! - NO SPEEDING!
    1. No driving or parking on grass areas. Do not block the road when parking.
    2. ​​​​​​​Be mindful and respectful of our neighbors and other guests staying at the property.
    3. No reckless driving around the property of up and down Mountain Lake Bottom Road.
    4. Quiet Hours 10:00PM - 7:00AM
  3. NO SMOKING
    1. ​​​​​​​No smoking, vaping, or use of e-cigarettes of any kind inside the cabin.
    2. Clean up cigarette butts off the ground after yourself.
    3. If any guest or visitor is caught smoking inside the cabin, then Guest on booking invoice give Trails 2 Paradise permission to charge $300 smoking fee to the card used for booking. This fee will be charged within 72 hours of 10:00 AM on scheduled check out day. Guest will receive email notification at time of charging to the email on file.
  4. NO PETS
    1. ​​​​​​​We do not allow pets at our cabins. If it is discovered that someone in Guests' group has had a pet during their stay then Guests' give Trails 2 Paradise permission to charge a $250 pet fee to the card used for booking. This pet fee will be charged within 48 hours of 10:00AM on Guests' scheduled check out day and notified by email on file at time of charging.
  5. Cleaning Policy
    1. Please clean up after yourselves. Take off muddy clothing outside before entering the cabin. Do not wear muddy shoes through the cabin. You may use water hose or outside shower for washing muddy clothes.

    2. Septic System: Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. No feminine products should ever be flushed! Absolutely no grease poured down the toilets or drains. If it is found that feminine products are flushed and clog the septic system, the renter may be charged for the damages.

    3. ​​​​​​​Currently, we do not charge an upfront cleaning fee. But if the cabin or property is left excessively dirty then a cleaning fee of $150 per cabin will be charged to the card used for booking. Cabins and property will be inspected within 24 hours of departure and if it is determined a cleaning fee needs to be charged then Guest gives Trails 2 Paradise permission to charge the card used for booking within 72 hours of 10:00AM on scheduled check out day.
    4. Rinse off BEFORE entering hot tubs.
    5. Place all trash in containers provided.
  6. Fire Policy
    1. ​​​​​​​Fires are only allowed in provided fire pits.
    2. Do not move fire pits. Do not burn trash in fire pits.
    3. NEVER leave a camp fire unattended.
    4. Guests are responsible for following all local and state laws regarding burn bans and times.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations occurring on the day of or 7 days prior to arrival with forfeit any money paid and there are no refunds. 
Cancellations occurring 8 or more days prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 processing fee. 
Refund Policy
There will be no refunds after you have checked in, for inclement weather, failure to follow the Rules & Regulations, or disorderly conduct.  Manager/Owner reserves the right to have discretion on all refunds. 

Legalities

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Trails 2 Paradise for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trails 2 Paradise from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Trails 2 Paradise may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Trails 2 Paradise reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.

Liability: Trails 2 Paradise reserves the right to add to or change these rules and reserves the right to refuse anyone and to require the departure of anyone, without refund, who fails to abide by resort policies. Guests/Occupants are expected to behave in a reasonable manner so as not to cause annoyance to others. Any person creating a public disturbance will be deemed a threat to themselves or others. Using profane or obscene languages, behaving in a drunk or disorderly manner, or displaying immoral or lewd behavior will not be tolerated. Camping has inherent risks associated with outside activities. Trails 2 Paradise is not responsible for injuries or damage, which occur during activities, including but not limited to, trails, creek or cabin sites or common areas.

Waiver and Release: Trails 2 Paradise is privately owned. Guest accepts staying privileges with the understanding that he/she does hereby agree to indemnify and release Trails 2 Paradise, its owners, officers, employees, volunteers, guests or fellow guests for all liability for loss and/or damage to property and/or injury to his/her person and/or any person(s) staying or visiting on site, arising out of guest’s use of Trails 2 Paradise facilities. By confirming your reservation online, you acknowledge receipt of the rules & regulations and understand you are the responsible party for the safety and actions of your pets, children, guests and visitors, and their pets, if any. Responsibility includes payment upon demand for the cost of any damage as a result of their actions. Furthermore, you agree to adhere to the rules & regulations, the posted signs, and any additional policies provided, and you accept the responsibility to explain the same to your family members, guests and visitors.

Trails 2 Paradise Rights: ​Access to the property may be needed by the resort, manager or independent contractors. The Guest agrees to allow access as needed. Notice will be given when possible. The Owner or Agent representing the Owner has the right to enter an inspect the property without prior notice at any time. Should the Guest or Rental party violate any part of this agreement it shall be terminated immediately without refund. All guests should adhere to state, county, city ordinances / laws and Trails 2 Paradise rules at all times. Any failure to do so could result in immediate termination of this agreement and forfeiture of all money paid.

There will be no refunds ​for shortened stays or cancellations due to family emergency, illness, work obligations, ruined expectations because of weather, power outages or any other conditions which are beyond control by the Owner.

Management shall not be held liable or responsible for non-utilization of package components or loss of recreational opportunities due to weather or any other circumstances beyond our control.

Trails 2 Paradise or its management bears no responsibility for any loss or damage to any person or property, or thing howsoever caused.

This is a short term rental only! Management reserves the right to immediately vacate any guest from the property within 72 hours after their approved stay has ended. Management also reserves the right to immediately remove any guest from the property for breaking any of the above policies, without refund. The management reserves the right to evict any day user, guest, camper or group of campers for any cause.
