Valley View Campground, Guttenberg, Iowa

COMMON SENSE & RESPECT FOR YOUR NEIGHBORS AND THE CAMPGROUND IS RULE NUMBER ONE!

Valley View Campground has established the following rules and policies to ensure the health, safety, comfort and respect to everyone. 
Camper(s) shall abide by these policies and terms and conditions.


1) RENTALS:

  • We do not allow short term rentals. 
  • All lots are available for 12 months. 
  • Park/store your RV all winter and camp all summer for one price. 
  • Whether you stay one night or 12 months, your pricing is the same.
  • All lots are $2400 plus $100 processing fees for up to 12 months.


2) SPEED LIMIT:  5 mph throughout the campground. 

  • Safe driving is a must.  Please always drive slowly through the campground.

3) SIZES:

  • The maximum trailer size for the standard lots is 35 feet. 
  • The maximum trailer size for an oversized lot (lots 13 and 45 only) is 45 feet.

4) PETS:

  • Each lot shall have no more than 2 dogs. 
  • Some restrictions may apply. 
  • Additional dogs must be approved by Owner.
  • Pets must be confined or kept on a leash. 
  • Camper(s) are responsible for clean up and disposal of all pet waste.

5) QUIET HOURS: 

  • No loud noises after 10 pm.  Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am.

6) FIRES: Fires are only allowed in fire pits.

  • No fireworks or explosives are allowed on campground.

7) SUBLETTING:

  • Subletting of lots is prohibited.

8) PARKING: 

  • Parking in unathorized areas and/or vacant lots is prohibited and subject to additional charges and/or towing at campers expense.
  •  All trailers must be in lots and must be regularly maintained.

9) CONTACT:

  • Campers must provide any changes to name, address, phone number to Owner. 
  • A change of ownership to trailer must be approved by owner.

10) UTILITIES:

  • Water and electric is provided April 15 - November 15 at no extra charge. 

11) GARBAGE:  Do not leave trash at your site.

  • All garbage must be in bags, tied, and placed in garbage receptacles.
  • Camper is responsible for the trailer and lot clean-up and tidiness.

12) PICNIC TABLES:

  • Picnic tables must be on decks only.

13) INSURANCE:

  • Campers will have insurance covering their property including boats, trailers, RVs, etc for loss or damage through fire, theft, collision, vandalism, or natural causes.
  • Owner shall be released from any and all liability.
  • Onwer shall provide services paid for to the best of its ability, but accepts no liability for damage or inconvenience caused by disruption of services.

14) EVICTION:

  • Camper(s) and visitor(s) are responsible for obeying campground rules. 
  • Any violation deemed serious by owner willl be cause for immediate eviction fo both Camper(s) and visitor(s).
  • No refunds will be given. 
  • In the case of property damage, including but not limited to trees and shrubbery, the Owner will compute and fix the cost of damage and the Camper(s) and/or visitor(s) may be subject to criminal charges. 

15) INCLIMATE WEATHER: 

  • You are in Clayton County in the town of Guttenberg, Iowa.  If a severe weather warning is issued, please go to the bathrooms for shelter.
