Vinton County Fairgrounds, McArthur, Ohio

·         Camping contracts are non-transferable.

·         A camping permit will be given to you upon your arrival to the fair.

·         You MUST check into the fair office prior to placing your camper or tent to receive your permit.

·         Any person not registering with the fair office may be asked to leave.

·         All campers will be placed in numbered lots first, and then other lots by the fair board Camping Committee.

·         Each camping unit shall be in charge of an adult leaseholder.  The adult to whom the lot is rented shall be responsible for all activities on the lot.

·         For security purposes, all persons staying overnight at the Vinton County Jr. Fair must be registered with the fair office upon entering the fairgrounds.  In case of an emergency, the Vinton County Fair Board would need to know who is staying so contact, if necessary, can be made.

·         Any person under the age of 18 MUST have a parent or guardian staying with them at the fairgrounds.

·         NO drugs, or firearms will be permitted in the camping area or on the fairgrounds.

·         Open Fires are permitted in a fire ring that is approved by the fairboard

·         Dogs are only allowed in the campgrounds, NO dogs allowed in the “public fair Areas”

·         All premises around the camping area are to be kept clean and sanitary.  Trash is to be placed in the dumpsters; no dumping of any holding tanks will be permitted except at the dumping station.

·         Holding tanks may be pumped for a fee of $25 by A2Z Sanitation you must come to the office to get your pump pass

·         Camping spaces do not include gate admission.  All persons camping need to pay daily admission, have an exhibitor’s pass, or purchase a season pass.

·         Season passes may be purchased when you register your camper/tent.  You will be asked to leave if you do not have a pass.

·         Please be courteous to your neighbors.  If the office receives substantiated complaints about any site holder, you will be asked to vacate your space.  No refunds will be issued.

·         Curfew in the campground is 11:30 PM.

·         The Vinton County Fairground/Agriculture Society will not be responsible for any camper/tent.

The Vinton County Fairboard reserves the right to establish any rules for camping as deemed necessary for the security and safety of those camping
