Terms & Conditions

By booking a reservation, I, the reservation holder, agree, and shall cause my children, invitees, and guests, to abide by the Walnut Creek RV Park (the “Park” or “Premises”) rules, terms, and conditions, including those rules and policies published at www.WalnutCreekRV.com, posted on the Premises or otherwise communicated in any manner by Park staff or Park Haven Management.

Cancellation Policy

Walnut Creek RV Park does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. Walnut Creek RV Park's refund policy varies, depending on the timing of the cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date, as follows: 

If a reservation is cancelled more than 3 weeks prior to the arrival date we will issue a full refund, minus the non-refundable $5 transaction fee. For a cancellation of a reservation more than 2 weeks, but less than 3 weeks, prior to the arrival date, a credit for 50% of the payment will be issued, with the balance being non-refundable.  For a reservation cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation payment is forfeited to Walnut Creek RV Park.

Credit can only be redeemed in the same calendar year as the cancelled reservation and can only be applied toward your site or cabin rental. For reservations paid with a credit card, cash refunds will be credited to the credit card on file with respect to reservation.

Assumption of Risk & Release

As a participant in a recreation activity, I am responsible for acting within the limits of my ability and heeding all warnings regarding participation in the activity. I will maintain control of myself, my guests, and any equipment while participating in the activity and will refrain from acting in any manner that may cause or contribute to injury to myself or to others.

I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE WALNUT CREEK MHC LLC, d/b/a Walnut Creek RV Park, its owners, staff, and agents (collectively, “Walnut Creek RV Park Management”), from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the Walnut Creek RV Park property, facilities, golf carts, amenities, bodies of water (pond / lake / or guest pools). Any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions, high winds, thunder and lightning, temperature fluctuations, falling trees, tree limbs, ice, or encounters with wildlife.

I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS Walnut Creek RV Park Management, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although Walnut Creek RV Park Management makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.

As a courtesy, our employees, if requested, may assist with directing you to your designated campsite. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the site will accommodate your specific trailer/RV and that you will not hit any branches, pedestals, fixed structures, and trees, etc. When positioning your RV on the campsite. You agree to indemnify and hold Walnut Creek RV Park Management harmless from any loss, liability, damage, or cost (including attorney’s fees) that may result from an employee assisting or directing you onto a campsite. Furthermore, you release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Walnut Creek RV Park Management for any and all liability, loss, or property damage relating to an employee assisting/directing you to your site.

I understand that I am and remain personally liable to pay the total amount of my reservation prior to my scheduled check-in date, or at such an earlier date communicated to me.  If I fail to pay the total due, I agree to be charged any remaining balance (in additional to any damage charges or other amounts owed under these Terms and Conditions) to any credit or debit card on file with my reservation. Any amounts due after 30 days will be subject to the maximum late charge permitted under state law.

The Premises are privately owned and Walny Creek RV Park Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, except for those prohibited by law. Walnut Creek RV Park Management reserves the right to require any person or party it deems necessary, to leave the Park based on violations of Park Rules or behavior that management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. Harassment or mistreatment of our staff or other guests, including but not limited to, acts of physical violence, threats of violence, or hate speech, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. I have read this notice and agree to it as well as all Walnut Creek RV Park Rules and regulations. In addition, I understand that I am responsible for the actions of all persons registered in my party, including any children, and any guests that visit during my stay.

On behalf of each person in my party, I grant Walnut Creek RV Park and its affiliated entities and promotional partners the right to include any photographic, video and other visual portrayals of each person in my party in any medium and for any purpose.

Additional Terms for Rental Units

I understand and agree as follows:

• At departure, any RV sites are to be left in a clean condition, garbage is to be removed from the site and placed in an outside dumpster. Otherwise, Walnut Creek RV Park Management may charge my credit card with up to a $50 cleaning fee.  I understand and agree that if I leave the any rental units in an unreasonably filthy condition, permit a pet to occupy a rental unit not designated as pet-friendly or smoke in a rental unit, Walnut Creek RV Park Management may charge my credit card for the cost to professionally clean the rental unit ($250 minimum charge).
• All damages to the rental unit, whether caused by myself, my children, guests or pets, will be disclosed to the registration office immediately or at checkout. All damages occurring to the rental unit during my stay will be charged to my credit card after a thorough inspection has been made by Walnut Creek RV Park Management. Damages for which I will be responsible include, but are not limited to: lost key(s), broken/lost TV /AC remote controls, broken items, discharged fire extinguishers (if not used for a fire), damaged/dented/bent appliances, furniture, cabinetry or dishes, writing on walls or bedding, and ripped or torn mattresses or covers.

Animal Waiver

I hereby agree to the following regulations and conditions relating to my pets while camping at Walnut Creek RV Park pet.

• Excluded Areas: I agree to keep my pet out of the following areas including, but not limited to, food and beverage areas, any bodies of water, other guest’s pads and/or structures, as well as playgrounds and pavilions.
• Excluded Pets: I agree that the Park has the sole discretion to exclude any pets. The basis for exclusion may include, but is not limited to the following: breed-specific exclusions; due to their young age are exempted from state or local law vaccination requirements; are sick; are in heat; are or show signs of being aggressive, vicious, dangerous, or potentially dangerous; require muzzling; or are easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting).
• Supervision: I agree to always keep my pets on a leash or in a secure carrier while in all public areas of the Park. I further agree to have my dog with me or a designated individual at all times and understand that I may not leave the dog unattended in an RV, cabin, or any rental structure. I agree to prevent noise, or any other disturbance caused by my pet, in the interest of other guests at the Park.
• Vaccinations: I represent and warrant that my dog is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and distemper) and flea treatments.
• Disturbances: I agree that, should my dog create any disturbances, which cause complaints to be made to the management by other guests or employees of the Park, at the request of a Park employee, I will immediately make arrangements to house my dog elsewhere outside the Park. Additionally, I understand and agree that if I do not find alternative housing for my pet after being asked to do so, I will be asked to leave the Park and will not be issued a refund.
• Assumption of Risk and Release: I understand that my permission to have my dog at the Park with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. I understand that the Park may revoke such permission at any time for any reason. Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility of risks, injury, damage, other harm that may occur while my dog is at the Park or caused by my dog. Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge the Park, its owner, its agents, its parent companies, members, managers, directors, officers and employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of the Released Parties arising out of or incident to my dog’s presence in the Park, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my dog and/or any guest or invitee. I further agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties for any and all such claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising as a result of or related to the presence of the dog at the Park. This provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent of the law.

Acknowledgment: By staying at the Park, I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing Assumption of Risk & Release and fully understand its provisions and implications. My execution of this Release is entirely voluntary and intended to be binding on my heirs, executors, legal representatives and assigns.

I have read this Animal Waiver and understand it is my responsibility to abide by the Rules. I further understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my guests and invitees also comply with the Rules. Failure to adhere to the policies and rules set forth herein may result in my removal from the Park without a refund.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Walnut Creek RV Park Rules

General:

1. Tenants and Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets.
2. Tenant assumes any and all risks associated with the foregoing and agrees to hold Landlord harmless from and indemnify Landlord against the same.
3. The Park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle.
4. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.
5. All guests and visitors must register in the office upon arrival.
6. Walnut Creek RV Park does not allow the delivery of mail or packages to any guests. Guests must make arrangements to have their mail or packages delivered to a third-party location for pickup.
7. All Motorhomes, RVs, or Travel Trailers must be in good working order and appearance.
   1. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.
8. Tent camping is permitted only in RV spaces when RVs are being rented.
9. Tents are limited to a maximum of two per site.
10. The total number of guests in any space cannot exceed the maximum capacity for that site.
11. A maximum of 10 people total at a site at any given time.
12. Visitors are welcome at guest sites between the hours of 9 am - 10 pm, but they must first register at the office.
13. Visitors are not permitted to stay overnight. All visitors are required to leave by 10:00PM.
14. Charcoal grills, wood fire pits, deep fryers, and tiki torches are PROHIBITED.
15. Propane grills are allowed.
16. Blowup mattresses, sleeping bags and cots are not allowed outside.
17. Maintenance on RV’s or vehicles on property is not allowed.
18. Washing RVs or vehicles on property is not allowed.
19. The use of any paint products or chemicals is prohibited.
20. Clotheslines are not allowed.
21. Guests may not hang any items from the trees.
22. All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay.
23. Only 1 RV and a maximum of 2 other vehicles are allowed per site unless stated otherwise.
24. All trash is to be disposed of in enclosed trash receptacles throughout the resort.
25. DO NOT leave trash out overnight.
26. Boats, boat trailers, cargo trailers, or car dollies are not allowed on sites. Storage is available for a fee in our storage lot.
27. Drones or other remote-controlled machines may not be used at any time on the property.
28. Walnut Creek RV Park is in a natural wildlife habitat area. There are birds of prey and reptiles. All guests should ensure pets and small children are supervised at all times.

All sites: 4:00 PM

 

Check-Out Time:

All sites: 11:00 AM

 

Late Check-Out Policy:

The front desk may be able to arrange a late checkout, if available. Additional fees may apply. In order to ensure availability for incoming guests, please plan prompt departures.

 

Safety:

1. There is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY AT THE LAKE/POND, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
2. Lake / Pond hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM but under no circumstances to be used outside of daylight hours.
3. No glass containers are allowed near bodies of water.
4. The use of Firearms of any kind is PROHIBITED in the Park.
5. The use of archery, paintball, slingshots, air guns, or any projectile mechanism is PROHIBITED.
6. Fireworks of any kind are PROHIBITED.
7. Use of illegal drugs is PROHIBITED.
8. Obnoxious behavior of ANY kind is PROHIBITED.
9. Speed limit on property is 5 mph.
10. Motorcycles must be in idle speed when traveling through the Park.
11. Children under 18 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult in the Lake/Pond.
12. No vehicles can block any portion of any roadway.
13. Vehicles may park in designated spaces only.
14. Only people with a valid driver’s license or required license may operate a motor vehicle in the Park, including golf carts, scooters, etc.
15. Vandalism of any kind by anyone in your group (regardless of age) may result in eviction from the Park and/or payment for damages.

Security:

1. Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles.  Keep your valuables locked up.
2. There are security cameras on site.
3. Report any problems with your site to the Main Office immediately.
4. We adhere to and maintain all state, county, and local laws at the Park.

 

Quiet Hours:

1. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
2. Please be courteous to other guests around you.
3. Loud music or objectionable noise is not allowed at any time.
4. Inconsiderate guests will be evicted from Park.
5. Profanity or violence towards other guests or Park staff will result in immediate eviction from Park.
6. Guests violating rules that result in eviction notice will not receive any refunds for their stay.

 

Pet Policy:

1. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is NOT considered suitable to the serenity/safety of our guests or the Park.
2. Pets must be kept on a leash under the control of someone who can always manage the pets all animals.
3. There is a three-pet limit in the Park.
4. No exotic or oversized pets are permitted.  This includes all reptiles or large birds.
5. All Pets must be registered at the Front Desk upon arrival.
6. Pets may not be left outside unattended.
7. Guests are responsible to “clean up” after their pets.
8. Guests should carry proof of pet’s current vaccinations.
9. Pets are prohibited in Park buildings and amenity areas.
10. Park is not responsible for and will hold accountable the pet owner for any injury or damage caused by pet(s).

Service animals registered to their owners, who must be a registered guest, may accompany their registered owner. Any licenses or certifications for the service animal may be requested by Park staff at any time.
