Late Check-Out Policy:
The front desk may be able to arrange a late checkout, if available. In order to ensure availability for incoming guests, please plan prompt departures.

GENERAL: Walt’s Campground is not responsible for personal injuries to registered guest, family members while using any of the provided amenities during their camping visit. We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.

All children under the age of twelve must have adult supervision. Older siblings, does not constitute as an adult, parents are responsible for children at all times, please do not leave children unattended. Camping guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets.

Maximum of 10 people total at a site at any given time.

Visitors are welcome at guest sites between the hours of 9 am & 10 pm.

Charcoal/ Propane grills and propane fire pits are allowed

All sites are to be kept neat and clean for the duration of your stay.

Any and all aerial unmanned aircraft (Drones)or other remote-controlled machines may not be used at any time on the property.

Prohibited use of golf carts and or ATV/UTV by registered guest throughout the campground. 

 

SAFETY: Campfires must be in the fire ring provided. Do not move the location of the fire ring. Never leave fire unattended and extinguish prior to turning in for the night or leaving the campground. No open fire of any kind during declaration of a fire band. 

 

The use of Firearms of any kind is PROHIBITED. 

Fireworks of any kind are PROHIBITED.

Alcohol policy: The Kansas legal drinking age is 21- registered guest will be liable if underage individuals are drinking at their assigned campsite or on campground property.

Speed limit on property is 5 mph. Beware children are at play.  Watch for bicycles and ducks. 

Washing RVs or vehicles on property is not allowed.

Auto maintenance and or repair is prohibited at assigned campsite or on campground property.  

Vehicles may park in designated spaces only.

Vandalism of any kind by anyone in your group (regardless of age) may result in eviction

 

Security:

Management is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles.  

Report any problems with your site to the Country Store immediately.

We adhere to and maintain all state, county, and local laws on property.

Pet Policy: Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, no longer then six feet long. There is a two-pet limit per campsite. All Pets must be registered at the Front Desk upon arrival.

  1. Pets may not be left outside unattended or tied up. 
  2. Pet fences are allowed, not larger that a 6FT X6FT, must fix in the assigned campsite.
  3. Guests are responsible to “clean up “pet waste in real- time. 
  4. The pet owner is liable for any injury or damage caused by their pet(s).

Laundry
The laundry room is open 24/7.  Please do not leave your laundry unattended. We are not responsible for accidents or theft.

Shower/Restrooms: For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 during the summer season and closed during winter months. 

Severe Weather: In case of severe weather, seek shelter in the shower house. Restroom become unisex to supports families during severe weather. We love pets, so please bring them with you and please do not leave them in your RV during severe weather warnings.

Extended Camping; All Motorhomes, RV's or travel trailers must be in good working order and appearance. No camper vehicles may be older than 15 years to date. Exceptions may be granted upon request. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed to be unacceptable.

Electrical Use

You are responsible for understanding how many amps you are using in our RV.  AMP usage over the 50 AMP/30 AMP provided can trip your breaker. Please be mindful of your AMP usage, so that you don’t trip your breaker during your stay. Please notify the office so that we can notify maintenance if you have any electrical issues during your stay. Guests are not permitted to diagnose our electrical pedestals per safety  and insurance requirements.

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • 2 Days or Less Cancellation Prior to Arrival - 100% of your entire stay goes into       Camp Credit for future camping bookings.
  • 3 Days or More Cancellation Prior to Arrival - Full Refund minus $25 refund fee

Booking Policy:

  • Short-term stays (less than 31 nights) - 100% of one night’s stay due at the time of booking 
  • Extended stays (31 nights or more) - $100 deposit due at the time of booking

 

We reserve the right to evict any person(s) who does not comply with the rules and policies.
