Washtock Family Campground

Washtock Family Campground Policies 

Check In / Check Out

Check in is at 2 PM PST and entitles you to your site until 11 AM the day after check in. For Early Check in please give us a call and see if your site is available.  We will not ask a guest to leave so that you can check in early. Check out time is 11 AM. You do not need to contact the office for check out.

Site Changes

You have been assigned a specific site, if you wish to move please check with the office. Due to reservations and maintenance, moving may not be possible. Please inquire before moving sites.

Open Fires

Open fires are not allowed in our park. Fires must be in firepits or designated fire rings. 

Parking

Please do not park your vehicle, trailer, or boat in an adjacent site. Use of more than one site will result in additional charges.

Site and Park Navigation

Please be respectful of your neighbour and do not walk between sites when navigating the park. Please use main roads and designated public paths to walk around the campground.

Washing
Washing RVs or vehicles is not permitted as we are on an off grid water system and this can drastically affect the whole park’s water pressure. 

Pet Policies

Leash
We ask that you keep your pets on a leash at all times. This helps you, your pet, and other guests and other guests’ pets stay safe. 

Cleaning Up After Your Pet

Be a good neighbour and please use the dog walk area and clean up after your pet always. Do not let your pet deposit waste on your site or any of our other guests’ sites please. Failure to clean up after your pet will result in you being asked to leave without a refund.

Leaving Pets Unattended
Pets may not be left unattended in our park. Please do not tie your pet to a tree and leave. Leaving your pets unattended is dangerous for your pet as many factors including weather, power outages, etc. can affect your pets well-being while you are away.

Pets Not Allowed on Furniture
If you are staying in one of our RV rentals, pets are not allowed on the furniture.  For any incidents, that will be a $25.00 charge per occurrence. 

Barking
Excessive barking is not tolerated and disturbs your neighbours. Please note that excessive barking may result in you being asked to leave without refund.

Speed Limit

The park speed limit is 10km. This policy is to keep you, your children, and your pets safe. This also helps with dust control. Exceeding this speed limit will result in a warning. Multiple warnings will require us to ask you to leave. Safety is our number one priority for our guests.

Parking

Each paid guest registration covers 1 RV per site and 1 vehicle per site unless noted. Extra vehicles will need to be parked in additional parking outflow area. Please do not park on our grass. Ruts caused in your site due to additional vehicles will result in damage charges.

Trailers, Boats, and additional vehicles will need to be parked in the over flow parking area.

No parking in common areas. Do not park in the middle of the road. Do not park in sites that you did not register for. Parking on the grass is not permitted at RV Sites or in tent areas.

ATV’s. Dirt Bikes, Motorcycles, and Golf Carts

ATV’s are welcome onsite but may not be used within the park.  ONLY to get to and from your site from the Forest service road. Do not drive around the park, no driving to the bathrooms. No driving to a friends camp. We allow your ATV’s to be parked at your site but only riding on site to unload and go for a ride. Please no loud revving in the park.

General Park Policies

Visitors

Only registered guests are permitted to enter the park. All visitors must stop in the office to register, pay a fee and receive a parking pass. Day visitors must depart by 10:00 pm. Overnight visitors must depart by Noon. Please check with the office before inviting any visitors. Registered guests are responsible for ensuring their visitors are properly registered and that all campground rules are followed.

All guest visiting someone in the park must register and pick up a pass at the office and park in the designated area. Vehicle Pass must be visible at all times please.



 

Generator Use 

We allow generators to be run during certain hours of the day. 8-11am and 5-8pm.  Please be respectful of your neighbours. No one likes to listen to someone else's generator. If you are able to block any of the noise from your generator it is appreciated. Please do not put your generator in other sites. We want all of our guests to have the best possible experience enjoying the peace of nature. 

Restrooms

For the comfort of all our guests, restrooms are open 24/7 with exception of a temporary closing for cleaning once per day. We ask for your help in keeping the restrooms clean, please. Please don’t let your kids use the shower unattended. 

Playground

Playground opens at 9 am after quiet time and closes at dusk. Anyone under 18 must be supervised in these areas and all areas of the campground at all times. Loud music, glass, and rough play are not permitted at our playground. Failure to follow these rules result in you being asked to leave without refund. Please do not let your children climb our trees, as it damages them.

Quiet Time Policies

Quiet time is 10 PM to 7 AM. Anyone playing loud music will be warned only once and then asked to leave without a refund.

Trash Disposal and Recycling

Trash cans are located near the check in/store. Please tie trash bags completely closed and put your trash completely in the trash container. If the first can is full, please find another container. Please do not place your trash on the ground. Woodland creatures like bears, coyotes, skunks, and racoons are attracted to left out or disposed of food and while we think they are cute and wonderful animals, we don’t want you to find a surprise night visitor at your site because of incorrectly disposed of trash! Do not dispose of wires, oil, furniture, mattresses, or any toxic waste or chemicals in our trash cans. Trash is emptied once per day. Times may vary due to maintenance scheduling requirements throughout the day.

If you are recycling, we currently recycle cardboard and bottles and cans. Please bring any recycling items to our store or garage for drop off. You will find recycling cans in the garbage shed. 

We have a compost program. This directly helps our on site garden. If you would like to participate in helping us grow amazing food. Please ask for a compost bag at the store. We are only able to accept green compost ie veggie and fruit scraps as we cannot compost meat waste at this time. 


 

Children

Children under 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Riding bicycles without a parent and on our main entrance road is prohibited for the safety of your children and our incoming RV guests. We want your kids to run and play and enjoy their time here. Just again please make sure your children are being respectful of your neighbours. Please keep an eye on your children to ensure they are being respectful. 

Drones

Please check with us prior to flying any drones above the park. 

Fireworks and Firearms

Fireworks and firearms are strictly prohibited in our park. The prohibiting of fireworks includes sparklers, smoke bombs, aerials, and firecrackers. The prohibiting of firearms includes all guns including air soft, BB, and pellet guns. If these items are seen outside of your RV, you will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.

Safety and Emergencies

Emergency Contact Information forms are required from all monthly guests. This information remains private and used only when a situation arises when we need to contact someone in the event of an emergency or is sought by law enforcement agencies. We never give personal information out to others.

If you observe any activity you believe to be of concern, call (604) 869 – 6225 24 hours a day. (No soliciting is allowed.)

If you need to call 911 for any reason, and time allows, please call the office so the maintenance staff can be prepared to escort the emergency personnel to your site.

We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.
