Terms & Conditions
Wawaloam Campground, West Kingston, Rhode Island
The following terms and conditions apply:
- Payment is required in full at time of making reservations.
- Check-in for all reservations is 3:00pm. Early check-in is available for regular sites if site is available for $10 per hour. You must call first to confirm availability.
- Check-out for regular campsites is 12:00pm
- Cancellations, Refunds, and Fees are listed under the Cancellation and Refund Policies.
- Early departure (for any reason) does not constitute a refund or return of money in any way, including credits on the account.
- Reservations and Payments are not transferrable - Sites cannot be transferred, resold, or subletted without management approval.
- Gate: Wawaloam has gates. Your gate code will be emailed to you prior to arrival. The gates are manned on weekends to register visitors and monitor incoming and outgoing traffic.
- Occupancy is maxed at 2 adults and your children under the age of 21 at no cost. Additional adults will incur an extra fee.
- Extra adults are charged $10 each per night at time of reservation. (if staying in your camping unit)
- Outside carpet/mats should be no larger than 2' x 3' for grass sites. Other sizes are permitted for dirt/gravel sites. All mats/carpets should be picked up at the end of the weekend to allow grass to grow.
- Vehicles are limited to 2 vehicles per site, which should be registered prior to your arrival, or at check in. Additional vehicles must also be registered but will be parked in visitor parking.
- Bikes: are to be ridden responsibly, do not ride on decks or in buildings, no riding recklessly, helmets are required for ages 15 & under by state of Rhode Island law. Bikes must be parked by dusk. If your child is found riding their bike inappropriately, the bike will be taken and returned to you upon check-out.
- Firewood is not permitted from outside the state of Rhode Island.
- Fishing: Fishing permitted, no license required. Catch & release policy.
- Laundry: Use of RV washers and driers is prohibited. Please use laundry facility on premises.
- Motorized scooters, mopeds, hoverboards, skateboards, rollerblades are not allowed anyone 18 and under must wear a helmet. they also must obey all normal traffic rules. Children's ride-on toys are allowed at site only.
- Motorcycles may be driven in to your sites, but please refrain from using them to travel around throughout the park.
- Pets are allowed - 2 maximum, and must remain on leash at all times. Aggressive and excessive barking dogs are not allowed.
- Pets while on your site must remain on a run or in a temporary fence. If you are staying for a extended package the temporary fencing must be picked up during the week for mowing. No "permanent" fencing or banging of fence posts into the ground.
- Pool - The pool is open from Memorial until atleast Labor, from 10am until dusk (typically 8pm midsummer). It will be closed during inclement weather or storms. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult at all times (inside the pool area).
- Slide - The waterslides are open from Memorial until atleast Labor, and operate weekends from 11am to 6pm. Midweek shoulder season (June) it will operate based on park occupancy. July and August, it will be open from 11-4 daily, except during inclement weather or storms. Children under the height 42" are not eligible to use the slide. They also must be able to swim independently without floatation devices and without any assistance at the bottom. Children are not allowed to be caught by a parent.
- Splash Pad - The splah pad is automatic and turns on at 9am and turns off at 8pm. If it is not flowing, press the button on the top of the blue tube and it will restart (during the operating hours).
- Rec Hall - the rec hall is open throughout the weekend during office hours. Adult supervision is required of all children age 10 & under.
- Wawaloam is an RV park only - we do not offer tent sites or tent camping at this time.
- Trash: Weekend Campers- please put your camping trash in the dumpsters at store parking lot or by pavilion. No bulky waste- those items must be removed from the park by you.
- Quiet Hour: 11 pm strictly enforced. All youth under the age of 21 must be back at their sites by 10pm.
- Site Issues: Other emergencies consisting of site, noise, misbehaving, and other security issues, please call Security Medical issues and all calls to 911 must be reported to Security immediately to assist emergency with finding your site.
- Vandalism: Please be respectful of Wawaloam property. Acts of vandalism of any kind will not be tolerated. First act will result in minimum of a warning. Second act will result in expulsion from the park.
- Visitors will be charged a per day visitor fee and must keep their car parked in the visitor lot. (No exceptions)
If any of the terms and conditions are broken or not followed, your stay at Wawaloam may be immediately terminated, and all fees paid in will be forfeited with no refunds, at management's discretion. Please ensure all members of your party, including any visitors or guests, abide by the terms and conditions as outlined.

By accepting this reservation, Guest hereby waives, releases and discharges and covenants not to sue Wawaloam RV LLC, dba Wawaloam Campground for all claims and liability for personal injury, accidents, property damage, any other claim arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Further, Guest agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wawaloam Campground from all losses, claims, expenses and demands, including attorneys’ fees, that Wawaloam Campground may incur arising out of or in connection with Guests’ use of the Rental/Property. Guest further agrees to be responsible and liable for the actions and safety of every person in their group. Wawaloam Campground reserves the right to remove any renter, occupant or guest who is subject to a lifetime registration requirement under a State sexual offender registration program.
