I* understand that campgrounds and the activities at campgrounds are hazardous, and I assume all such risks upon entering Wesleyan Woods Camp.  I therefore release Wesleyan Woods Camp** from all liability, indemnify, hold harmless, and waive any right to bring legal action against Wesleyan Woods Camp** for myself and everyone under or included by my reservation.

In consideration for myself*, and all persons entering as my guest or invitee, including minors, under MY SUPERVISION, which includes everyone entering or included under my reservation, being permitted to camp and participate in the activities at Wesleyan Woods Camp, I and all persons listed below, or attending under my reservation and not listed below, agree to the following Waiver and Release:  I hereby KNOWINGLY AND INTENTIONALLY WAIVE AND RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS, Wesleyan Woods Camp including all officers and employees** of all liability, claims , demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death caused by, but NOT LIMITED TO, the following activities: CAMPFIRES, HIKING, CANOEING, KAYAKING, FISHING, SWIMMING, PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, PLANNED EVENTS, ROPES COURSES, ZIP LINES, WATER SLIDES, CLIMBING WALLS, SHOWERS, BICYCLES, MOTORCYCLES, ORVS/ATVS, GOLF CARTS, ELECTRIC SCOOTERS, ENCOUNTERS WITH WILDLIFE, and any activities of a similar or related nature while participating in such activities or while on the premises of Wesleyan Woods Camp.

I* acknowledge that camping has many hazards and that there are risks that cannot be eliminated, particularly in a wilderness environment.  I hereby acknowledge that Wesleyan Woods Camp is not responsible for any theft, loss or damage incurred during my stay.  My signature below confirms that I have read and agree to abide by all rules and policies at Wesleyan Woods Camp.  I also understand that I can be asked to leave the property, without a refund, for failure to follow said rules and policies.

I* hereby consent to photographs and videos taken of me and all parties listed below, or included under my reservation, during our stay at Wesleyan Woods Camp for purposes of event documentation and promotion of Wesleyan Woods Camp. Names will not be published.  My signature confirms that I have valid rabies certificates for any pets in my party.  A copy will be provided if necessary.

I* have read the above carefully, I clearly understand and voluntarily sign this waiver and release agreement. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wesleyan Woods Camp from any and all liability for any occurrence involving myself, members of my party, guests, and invitees. I have also discussed, or will discuss, this waiver with all persons in my party, guests and invitees, and they authorize me to sign this waiver on their behalf.

Camp Guidelines • Wesleyan Woods Camp ZERO TOLERANCE ON ALCOHOL & DRUGS • Absolutely NO alcohol permitted on camp property. Only prescribed medications are allowed, all others are not permitted. The use of medical marijuana is NOT permitted on camp property. • RV check-in 1 p.m./check-out noon • Sunday RV checkin/check out 4p.m. • Cottage check-in 3pm/check-out 11am • Speed limit is 5 MPH • One camping unit per site. One family household per site. Maximum of 8 people. • Campers must be registered before going to camp site. • 2 Vehicles per site. 2nd vehicle may not obstruct road. If 2nd vehicle does not fit on actual site, it may be parked in the Wesley Center parking lot behind the Gibson. • Must allow 4 ft wide unobstructed path around sleeping unit. • QUIET HOURS 11:30p.m-7:30a.m • No smoking in the camp buildings • No smoking in public areas • Please observe modest dress • All bicycles are to be parked by dark • Parents are responsible for the conduct & whereabouts of their children. • Campfires must be in designated fire rings, attended and under control at all times. • All trash is to be put in plastic bags and placed in dumpsters. • All black & gray water is to be disposed of in the dumping station or in the designated outlets. • Fireworks & sparklers are prohibited on camp property. • The use of profanity at any time for any reason is strictly prohibited. • Wesleyan Woods, its owner, its managers and employees are not responsible for “Acts of God”, other damage, vandalism or theft of registered camper or guest RV’s or other personal possessions. It is further understood that Wesleyan Woods Campground is not responsible to carry liability or comprehensive insurance coverage on tenants camping units, vehicles or personal property. • Due to the inherent risk of camping activities, campers and their guests are responsible for injuries incurred while camping. Campers and their guests must first utilize their health insurance coverage to provide treatment for injuries incurred. All guests must sign a liability release form before participating in any activities. • Check with registration office before charging any Electrical Vehicle Swimming Rules • Swim in designated area only (beach and water slide) • No lifeguard on duty at the beach • Under 16 must be supervised by adult • No fishing in swimming area • No smoking, alcohol, or the use of foul language Firewood Bundles Sign up is located in the Gibson. Cash only Visitors • Visitors are welcome to arrive from 9a.m.-5p.m. may stay till 11:30p.m. • $2 per person per day ages 5-65 years old. Under 5 and over 65 are free. • Do not give out the security gate code. All persons entering through the security gate must agree to sign the release of liability form. WiFi Free WiFi is located in the Gibson Center Pets • 2 pets per campsite • Pets must be on a lead no longer than 8 feet, and controlled by their master at all times • Pets are not allowed on the beach or in the swimming pond • Please keep barking under control • Please clean up after pets and dispose of properly • Pets must have proof of current rabies vaccination • Pets are not allowed inside any camp building • Only certified Service Animals, that are clearly marked, and have been approved by the camp director are allowed in camp buildings. • Any aggressive or aggressive-acting pets, will be asked to be removed from the camp grounds. High Adventure Activities - Run Saturdays Memorial through Labor Day Weekend All activities are weather permitting & subject to change. Zip Lines & Climbing wall must be minimum of 42 inches tall. High Ropes 52 inches tall and weigh between 40-250 pounds. Closed heeled shoes required for High ropes course. Waterslide & Dock require a Wesleyan Woods Camp certified waterfront lifeguard. Adventure Activities Basketball, carpet ball, disk golf, tether ball, volleyball, horseshoes, play-scape, prayer trails, putt putt golf, arcade, on site canoeing, worship trail. Equipment can be found in the Gibson Center. CPL Policy Wesleyan Woods Camp is a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment. Here at Wesleyan Woods we allow the concealed carry only (not open) of a pistol on the camp grounds abiding with your second amendment right to bear arms. Wesleyan Woods Camp is Wesleyan Church affiliated campground and according to the law an individual needs permission to carry given by presiding official. We give anyone who is lawful and possesses a Michigan or reciprocal state CPL permission to conceal carry on grounds. If you wish to carry you need to check in at the front office and show proof of your CPL. ATV’s & Golf Cart’s Must be registered at the front office. $25 per unit • Golf Carts and UTVs (side by sides) • Only licensed drivers or operators with a learner's permit can operate a Golf Carts/ UTV inside the campground. Operators with a learner's permit must be accompanied by a licensed adult over 21. Golf Cart Exception: may be driven by 12 to 15 yr olds with a parent or legal guardian in the front seat. • Golf Carts may not be driven after dark unless equipped with headlights and should be driven only on the roadways. • Golf Carts are allowed on the trails at their own risk. Wesleyan Woods is not responsible if your cart gets stuck or any damage that may occur. UTVs (side by sides) will be treated as Golf Carts and will be allowed to operate inside the camping area. *Please be advised that only one reservation per site occupant/date range is permitted per park policy. Please call the park to book more than one site per reservation. The posted speed limit is 5 mph inside the camp. MANAGEMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICES TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON.
