Terms of Service

I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees and guests, to abide by the Park Rules, including those rules and policies posted at the Premises or otherwise communicated in any manner by Westwood RV Park Management. 

Violation of any Park Rules & Regulations may result in you being asked to vacate the Park. Any deviation of the rules must be approved and documented by RV Park management. All Federal, State, and County laws must be adhered to by all guests and their visitors.

All water activities, including boating and swimming, are performed at your own risk

There are NO refunds!  

GENERAL:

  • Check in- 3:00 PM, Check-out 11:59 AM
  • Registration and payment is due immediately upon arrival. No exceptions. Payment methods accepted are: Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard only.
  • For after-hours check-in, please completely fill out the registration form, including all payment information, and drop it in the drop slot at the office door.
  • All RVs must be well-kept and in good condition. RVs 10 years or older must be approved by Park management.
  • A 5 MPH speed limit is strictly enforced.
  • No tent camping or sleeping in vehicles outside of the RV.
  • No sub-leasing is allowed.
  • No open campfires allowed. Manufactured outdoor cooking/charcoal grills are permitted.  Manufactured above ground fire pits are permitted if there is a proper fire arrestor used.
  • No clotheslines; freezers/refrigerators; fencing; barriers or pallets; dog kennels, pens or dog runs allowed.
  • No mats, rugs, etc., allowed on the grass.
  • All water hoses/sewer lines must be free from leaks; and sewer hoses must have a “do-nut” or threaded attachment into the sewer.
  • Solicitation or signs for the sale of products/services will not be allowed.
  • Reservation is viewed as a “two-way” agreement. We hold the space, which you have reserved, turning away all future requests, in return for payment of your deposit. No refunds once payment is processed. Only credit for future stays within 30 days of arrival.
  • All fish and game shall be properly disposed of as to not create a nuisance for other guests
  • Any and all improvements on RV Park property including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, structural, decks, awnings, footings, concrete, etc. must be performed by an approved contractor of the RV park management team. 

CHILDREN AND VISITORS:

  • Visitors must comply with all Park Rules & Regulations.
  • You are responsible for the safety and conduct of your children and visiting guests.
  • Children under the age of 14 must have adult supervision in all common areas.
  • Children must be supervised and accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times. 

ALCOHOL, SMOKING, DRUGS AND FIREARMS:

  • Dispose of smoking materials in proper receptacles. Do not throw them on the ground.  This includes your site area.
  • Smoking is prohibited in any Park building.
  • Absolutely no discharge or use of firearms or fireworks is allowed.
  • All weapons shall be kept in compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.
  • No alcohol is permitted in any common area (unless approved by management).
  • Westwood RV Park Inc, or any of its representatives, staff or owner will NOT be responsible for people of any age driving or boating while under the influence.
  • No criminal or drug related activity in or near the Park will be tolerated.

Firearms Policy 

I agree, and shall cause my children, invitees and guests to obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding the ownership and possession of firearms. Firearms are not permitted in any property buildings or common areas. The only exception is that I, my children, invitees or guests may have a firearm in a locked, private vehicle in parking areas if permitted by law. The discharge of firearms, BB guns, air guns/rifles, or similar devices is strictly prohibited.

PETS:

  • All pets must be pre-approved by management prior to arriving at the park
  • All pets (dogs and cats) must be on a leash AT ALL TIMES unless inside the dog park. Wildlife/farm animals are not considered pets and not allowed.
  • Pick up your pet’s waste IMMEDIATELY and dispose of it properly. This includes around your site and anywhere within Park property. This is a health issue for everyone and if you do not comply you will be asked to vacate the Park.
  • Management reserves the right to refuse pets based on breed/behavior.
  • Animals are the exclusive responsibility of their owners. Noisy pets will not be tolerated.
  • Pets may not be left outside unattended.
  • BEWARE!! There are snakes in the area.  Do not feed birds/wildlife.  Do not leave food out for any animals.

Animal Waiver

I hereby agree to the following regulations and conditions relating to my dog while camping at Westwood RV Park with my dog.

Excluded Dogs. I agree that the Campground has the sole discretion to exclude dogs. The basis for exclusion may include, but is not limited to the following: breed-specific exclusions; due to their young age are exempted from state or local law vaccination requirements; are sick; are in heat; are aggressive, vicious, dangerous or potentially dangerous; require muzzling; or are easily frightened or sensitive, resulting in disruptive behavior (such as fighting or biting) in response to a stimulus.

Supervision. I agree to keep my dog on a leash or in a carrier while in all public areas of the Campground. I further agree to have my dog with me or a designated individual at all times, and understand that I may not leave the dog unattended at the campsite. I understand that the Park does not allow pens or portable fences. I agree to prevent noise or any other disturbance by my dog, in the interest of other guests at the Campground.

Vaccinations. I represent and warrant that my dog is up to date on all vaccinations (including rabies and distemper) and flea treatments.

Disturbances. I agree that, should my dog create any disturbances, which cause complaints to be made to the management by other guests or employees of the Campground, at the request of a Campground employee, I will immediately make arrangements to house my dog elsewhere outside the Campground. Additionally, I understand and agree that if I do not find alternative housing for my pet after being asked to do so, I will be asked to leave the Campground and will not be issued a refund.

Assumption of Risk and Release. I understand that my permission to have my dog at the Campground with me is a privilege and not a contractual right. Such permission is expressly conditional upon my adherence to the terms of these rules and other rules in effect at any given time. I understand that the Campground may revoke such permission at any time for any reason. Additionally, I hereby assume all responsibility of risks, injury, damage, other harm that may occur while my dog is at the Campground or caused by my dog. Further, I hereby knowingly and voluntarily expressly release and discharge the Campground, its owner, its agents, its parent companies, members, managers, directors, officers and employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, both present and future, whether known, unknown, anticipated or unanticipated, that me or my guests or invitees may have against any of the Released Parties arising out of or incident to my dog’s presence in the Campground, whether arising from any act or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of me, my dog and/or any guest or invitee. I further agree to indemnify each of the Released Parties for any and all such claims, damages, liabilities, injuries, demands, or causes of action, including costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees arising as a result of or related to the presence of the dog at the Campground. This provision shall be enforceable to the fullest extent of the law.

Acknowledgment. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing Assumption of Risk & Release and fully understand its provisions and implications. My execution of this Release is entirely voluntary and intended to be binding on my heirs, executors, legal representatives and assigns.

I have read this Animal Waiver and understand it is my responsibility to abide by the Rules. I further understand that it is my responsibility to ensure that my guests and invitees also comply with the Rules. Failure to adhere to the policies and rules set forth herein may result in my removal from the Campground without a refund.

VEHICLE RULES

  • All persons must have a valid driver’s license to operate any motorized vehicle on the Park property including golf carts /UTVs/ATVs /any motorized vehicles.
  • No parking on the street or on the grass.
  • Park your vehicle in your assigned site only. Any vehicle parked in a vacant site without management approval will be charged for the space at the daily rate.
  • No repairs or washing of vehicles or RVs allowed unless approved by management.
  • Golf carts must be well maintained and compliant with local laws.

BEHAVIOR AND NUISANCES:

  • Quite hours are as follows Sunday – Saturday 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM CST
  • Excessive noise/nuisances created by guests/visitors will not be tolerated. An after-hour disturbance fee may be assessed for any calls received.
  • Common courtesy shall prevail between all persons on Westwood RV Park Inc property. Obnoxious, profane, abusive or threatening language, behavior and/or actions directed at Westwood RV Park Inc personnel or guests, or that could adversely affect the enjoyment of other parties utilizing our facility is prohibited; anyone engaging in such activity will be required to leave the Park immediately without refund at the sole discretion of Park management.
  • Damage to Park property, including but not limited to: restrooms; utilities; landscaping; vehicles; street lights or signage is strictly prohibited.  Guests will be held responsible for the repair of any damages.  We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.  Westwood RV Park Inc assumes no responsibility for fire, theft, vandalism, natural happenings, injury, accidents or losses from any cause.  Westwood RV Park Inc is not responsible for any damage to vehicles caused by other guests/visitors.  Westwood RV Park Inc is not responsible for any personal property.  Westwood RV Park Inc reserves the right to limit the stay and number of persons per site.  Willful violation of these rules will result in termination of tenancy and barring from the property.  These Rules & Regulations supersede any previously written or discussed.  Rules & Regulations; and rates may be changed at any time without prior notice.  Please report any problems to Park management immediately.  Please notify Park management of any incident or accidents as soon as possible.  For emergencies dial “911”.
  • Management reserves the right to alter or deviate from the above rules and regulations or any additions as they see fit.
  • I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE WESTWOOD RV PARK INC, its owners and agents (collectively), from any and all liability to me, my children, my invitees/guests, personal representatives, and heirs for any loss or damage on account of injury to person (including death) or loss or damage to property relating to, or arising out of, use and occupancy of the WESTWOOD RV PARK property, facilities, amenities collectively, the Premises) and any dangers and hazards associated with acts of nature such as changing weather conditions; high winds; thunder and lightning; temperature fluctuations; falling trees; tree limbs, ice; or encounters with wildlife, including but not limited to snakes.
  • I HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY, SAVE AND HOLD HARMLESS WESTWOOD RV PARK INC Management, and each of them, from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney fees) they may incur due to injury (including death), damage or loss of property relating to use of the Premises by me, my children, and/or my invitees/guests or due to any incidents that may occur during my stay. I understand that, although WESTWOOD RV PARK INC makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility.
  • As a courtesy, our employees, if so requested, may assist with directing you to your designated campsite. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the site will accommodate your specific trailer/RV and that you will not hit any branches, bollards, trees, etc. when positioning your RV on the campsite. You agree to indemnify and hold WESTWOOD RV PARK INC, its owners and agents (collectively, “Westwood rv park Management”) harmless from any loss, liability, damage or cost (including attorney’s fees) that may result from an employee/representative assisting or directing you onto a campsite. Furthermore, you release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Westwood RV Park Management for any and all liability, loss, or property damage relating to an employee assisting/directing you to your site.

WESTWOOD RV PARK INC RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

To enter the park, a copy of this waiver must be completed and signed for every patron. Before signing, however, please read the waiver in full and be certain that you understand the implications of signing.

NO VISITORS OF CAMPERS ARE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES UNLESS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS, EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT IS COMPLETED AND SIGNED BY EACH VISITOR AND/OR VISTORS PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. ALL VIOLATORS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY.

recreational activities in which I am about to engage at WESTWOOD RV PARK INC. The inherent risks and hazards include but are not limited to:

·       Injuries sustained from any and all outdoor activities, such as running, jumping, hiking, biking, swimming, climbing, camping, cooking, engaging in sporting events such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, golf carts, concerts, festivals held by Westwood RV Park Inc., games, playground equipment and more.

·       Injuries sustained from objects that are either natural or man-made, such as rocks, cliffs, trees and campfires, or from misjudging trails or other terrain that induces slipping, falling, colliding or otherwise.

·       Injuries and illnesses sustained from swimming, diving, scuba diving, cliff jumping, impacting the water, and/or water entering bodily orifices.

·       Injuries from hypothermia, heat stroke, dehydration, etc. from exposure to the elements, such as rain, cold, excessive heat or the weather in general.

·       Physical and monetary injuries sustained due to my own personal negligence and/or the negligence of others, crowds, altercations with other patrons, the excessive use of alcohol, the prohibited use of illegal drugs, and the like.

·       Injuries or illnesses sustained from either plants or animals, such as poison ivy, poison oak, poison sumac, aggressive or biting pets, service animals, wildlife, or exposure to any plants or animals present within the park in general.

·       Accidents, injuries or illnesses occurring in remote locations where no immediate medical attention is available.

·       Damage to RV, Camper, and/or equipment related to water lines/ water pressure. It is recommended that each camper install a water pressure regulator compatible with and rated for their RV/Camper equipment.

I understand that the description of these risks is in no way complete and that all such dangers, both anticipated and unanticipated, can lead to illness, injury, permanent disability, drowning and death.

Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Indemnity Agreement:

In making it possible to participate in many of the above-described activities and more, I both agree and acknowledge that:

I hereby release and hold harmless with respect to any and all illness, injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property—whether caused by negligence or otherwise—the following named persons or entities, herein referred to as Releasees: Morgan Inman, Christopher Knott, WESTWOOD RV PARK INC

 I hereby release the Releasees, their officers, directors, managers, employees, representatives, agents, volunteers, and other vessels from any and all liability and responsibility and for any claims that I, my estate, heirs, survivors, executors, or assigns may have for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death arising from the above activities whether caused by active or passive negligence of the Releasees or otherwise. By executing this document, I agree to hold the Releasees harmless and indemnify them in conjunction with regard to any illness, injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to my own personal property that can ensue from engagement in the full body of activities as stated above and otherwise.

By entering into this agreement, I am not relying on any oral or written representation or statements made by the Releasees other than that set forth in this agreement. This release shall be binding to the fullest extent permitted by law. If any provision of this release is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms shall still be enforceable.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, AND NOT ONLY DO I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS BUT I UNDERSTAND THAT I HEREBY RELEASE ALL LIABILITY AND THEREIN RELINQUISH LEGAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT. I ALSO SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY UNDER MY OWN FREE WILL WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT, COERCION OR OTHERWISE.

For Parents and Legal Guardians: This is to certify that, as the parent or legal guardian with full legal responsibility for this attendee, I understand that said minor is not to wander throughout the park unattended but is to be accompanied by his or her parent(s) or legal guardian(s) at all times. I therefore consent and agree not only to his or her release of all Releasees but also to release and indemnify the Releasees from any and all liabilities incident to his or her involvement in these activities for myself, my heirs, assigns, and next of kin.
