General Policies & Information for Your Upcoming Reservation

Check-in/Check-out and Hours

  • RV check-in: 12:00 PM
  • RV check-out: 11:00 AM
  • Cottage check-in: 3:00 PM
  • Cottage check-out: 11:00 AM

Reservations & Rates

  • The rates displayed do not include any applicable service fees or charges for optional incidentals.
  • To make changes to your reservation, please call a Reservation Specialist at (800) 414-0814.
  • If traveling with more vehicles than your camper and/or tow vehicle, the extra vehicles will be placed in storage if space is available. Additional fees will apply. Please contact us before arrival for availability and pricing details.
  • We accept all major credit cards. No cash is accepted. 
  • By using a credit card for a deposit, guarantee, or payment, you authorize Whispering Palms MHC & Resort to charge any expenses incurred during your stay to that credit card or apply funds you have on deposit with Whispering Palms MHC & Resort to your balance.

RV sites typically accommodate two-person occupancy. A guest fee of $15.00 will be added per day to the reservation for each additional guest.

RV Daily

  • Your credit card will be charged in full at the time of reservation.

RV Weekly

  • Your credit card will be charged for one day at the time of reservation.
  • The balance will be due on the reservation start date.

RV 1 to 3 Months

  • $250.00 is due at the time of reservation (a $250.00 deposit will be applied to the final month’s reservation).
  • The balance will be due on the reservation start date.

RV 4 to 5 Months

  • $250.00 is due at the time of reservation (a $250.00 deposit will be applied to the final month’s reservation).
  • The balance for the first three months will be due on the reservation start date.
  • The remaining balance will be due on the first day of the fourth month of your reservation.

RV 6 Months or Longer

  • $250.00 is due at the time of reservation (a $250.00 deposit will be applied to the final month’s reservation).
  • The balance for the first three months will be due on the reservation start date.
  • The remaining balance will be due on the first day of the fourth month of your reservation.
  • 6-month special rate - If you leave early, the rate will revert to short-term rates.

Cottage reservations accommodate two-person occupancy. A guest fee of $100.00 will be added for each person per month to the reservation.

Cottage Daily

  • Your credit card will be charged in full at the time of reservation.

Cottage Weekly

  • Your credit card will be charged for one day at the time of reservation.
  • The balance will be due on the reservation start date.

Cottage Monthly or Longer

  • $250.00 is due at the time of reservation (a $250.00 deposit will be applied to the final month’s reservation).
  • Your credit card will be charged a $200.00 non-refundable “Furry Friend” fee for each animal at the time of reservation for pet-friendly cottages.
  • Your credit card will be charged a $250.00 refundable deposit on the reservation start date. It will be held and returned upon satisfactory inspection of the cottage after check-out.
  • 1-3 Months: The balance will be due on the reservation start date. There will be no refunds in the event of an early departure.
  • 3-5 Months: The 3-month balance will be due upon check-in; the balance will be due on the 1st day of the 4th month of your reservation. There will be no refunds in the event of an early departure.

Cancellations & Refunds

RV Sites

  • Cancellations made less than 90 days before the reservation start date are non-refundable.
  • For cancellations made with less than the required notice period, the deposit will be held and applied to a future stay.
  • Early departures are non-refundable.

Cottage Rentals

  • Cancellations are non-refundable.
  • Early departures are non-refundable.

Under special conditions, management may issue refunds if extreme weather, such as a hurricane, makes the park unsafe or necessitates a mandatory evacuation.

Pet Policy

  • No more than two pets are allowed.
  • An additional $10.00 fee will be added for each pet on all RV reservations. Fees will not exceed pet allowances.
  • Breed restrictions apply. No vicious dog breeds are allowed: Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Chows, and Wolf hybrids or mixes are prohibited.
  • Owners must have shot records ready for review if needed.
  • Pets must always remain on a leash and under the control of their owner.
  • Please clean up after your pet. Dog waste stations are located throughout the community for your convenience.
  • Pets are not to be caged or tethered outside.
  • Pets are not allowed in any of the facilities.
  • Dog runs, fences, or pins of any kind are not permitted on the sites.
  • Walk your pet on the street, in designated common areas, or on the perimeter of the community where there are no homes.

 

RV Sites, Amenities & Information

Amenities:

Halls, bathhouses, laundry facilities, and the mailroom are open 24/7. Code cards for facility access are available at the office. Rolls of quarters for laundry machines are also available for purchase. Complimentary Wi-Fi hotspots are located in the mailroom and Baker Hall.

Garbage & Recycling:

Four dumpsters are located throughout the community for your use. All garbage must be placed in a garbage bag before disposal. The dumping of furniture and household furnishings in and around the dumpsters is strictly prohibited; violators will be billed accordingly. Green or blue totters are for recycling only.

Guests:

Guests must register and pay for overnight stays or facility use. Contact the office for rates. Children are registered as visitors only.

Maintenance:

Please inform the office of any necessary repairs by calling (772) 589-3481. For after-hours emergencies, please call (772) 713-1850.

Miscellaneous:

Your card on file will be charged accordingly for the following services:

  • RV Wash (on-site): $15.00
  • Car Wash (on-site): $10.00

Pool Hours:

9:00 a.m. to dusk (weather permitting).

  • The North Pool (located near the community office) is open to all ages.
  • The South Pool (located near Baker Hall) is for adults only.

Quiet Hours:

9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Registration:

All guests must register upon arrival.

Rigs:

Most rigs are welcome. If your rig is older than a 2015 model, please contact the office to email a recent photograph of all four sides of your rig for approval before making a reservation. Class B RVs, truck campers, and pop-up trailers are not permitted.

RV Mail:

Mail will be placed in the mailroom in the box that matches the first letter of your last name.

Sewer Hook-Up:

Florida Law requires sewer donuts or other tight-sealing connections on all sewer hoses. An additional charge may be applied if a guest runs over or breaks a sewer or water line.

Site:

Please keep your site neat, tidy, and clean. Only patio items are allowed; indoor furniture, appliances, clotheslines, and carpet on the grass are prohibited. Camping tents, pop-up tailgating tents, clotheslines, fireworks, and open wood fires are strictly prohibited. The storage of miscellaneous items must be kept out of sight. Potted plants are allowed during your reservation; however, planting and digging on-site are not permitted.

Speed Limit:

10 MPH. Please be mindful of cyclists, golf carts, and pedestrians. All Class E-bikes must adhere to the same rules of the road as vehicles.

Vehicles:

One vehicle is allowed per site. Boats and trailers are not permitted at your site. Contact the office for storage availability and rates. Vehicles parked in violation on empty sites will be towed.

Violations:

Repeated violations of the guidelines, terms and conditions, or posted rules will result in the cancellation of your reservation without a refund and removal from the property.

Whispering Palms MHC LLC Liability Disclaimer:

Whispering Palms MHC LLC assumes no liability for loss by fire, theft, accidents, or damage to persons or property, occurring in or outside the RV, on or off the site. Guests shall be responsible for any such loss or damage and shall indemnify and hold Whispering Palms MHC, LLC and its affiliates harmless from any and all charges, complaints, damages, claims, actions, and expenses (including attorneys' fees and costs).
