Terms & Conditions
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort of Door County
I, as a guest at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park of Door County* (a.k.a., Jellystone Park™), enter into this agreement and promise to abide by all specified Terms of Service.
I agree, and will be responsible for my children and invited guests, to abide by Jellystone Park Rules, including those rules and policies published, and those posted at the park or otherwise communicated in any manner by Jellystone Park Management. All guests, their minor dependents, and invited guests agree to comply with all state, county, and local health and zoning codes. Non-compliance will result in the termination of this agreement and all services provided by the Jellystone Park. Guests are also responsible and liable for the actions of their minor children and invited guests that are located at the park on their behalf.
I further accept responsibility and liability for the members of my party and for all acts resulting in damage to property or persons at Jellystone Park. Furthermore, Park Management will not be responsible for accidents, injury, damage, or costs to me, my children, and my guests or loss of money or valuables of any kind while on Jellystone Park premises. I understand that, although Park Management makes every reasonable effort to provide a secure environment, the security of my person, my belongings, and all persons registered in my party is my sole responsibility. As a result, Park Management reserves the right to remove and refuse services within the confines of the law to anyone who is misbehaving, or is demonstrating behavior Park Management deems inappropriate or disturbing to others. I am aware that if I or members of my party do not adhere to these rules, the park will not refund any money or security deposit obtained from my party.
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park of Door County, its Management and Staff are not responsible for loss, damage or claims for damages to guest’s property due to fire, theft, electrical interruption, wind, storm, accident or other causes. I assume all risks and danger incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoor environment including specifically (but not exclusively), the danger of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities, such as hiking or swimming at the Jellystone Park or of being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions, and agrees that the park and its owners, agents, and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.
A list of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park of Door County Rules is provided below. Every effort has been taken to document rules that limit harm to you and other park guests, protect Jellystone Park property, and provide an environment at the park that is family-oriented and safe, particularly to young children. While these rules are documented, other rules may not be expressly written but may be communicated in person to me by Park Management.
PARK SETTING… We are a family-oriented facility that expects appropriate conduct at all times—especially during quiet hours. All guests agree to comply with the rules and policies of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park of Door County and to demonstrate respect for fellow guests at the park and Park Management and Staff. The display of disruptive behaviors, including, for example, foul language, which may cause discomfort to other guests, will be confronted by Park Management, and continued offenders may be asked to leave the park. We rely on good conduct of all guests to provide a welcoming and family-safe environment for the benefit of all individuals.
RATES, PRICING, REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS… All rates, specials, terms and policies are subject to change at any time without notice. Guests agree to abide by the Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy, which are expressly executed as part of this agreement. Park Management does not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature.
RESERVATIONS… Guests must be 21 years of age and hold a valid driver’s license to make a reservation to camp or to rent a unit at Jellystone Park.
CAMPSITES… All guests are required to complete their registration process at the Ranger Station before occupying a campsite. One family, one camping unit, and one car, one picnic table, and one fire ring for each campsite. Campers under 21 must be accompanied by a parent to rent a site. The number of adults (and cars) on a campsite is intentionally limited to avoid overcrowding. Guests are responsible for the behavior of their children while at the park. Check-in time is 2:00 pm and check-out time is 1:00 pm.
ADDITIONAL PAID ADULTS… Our campsites are booked online for one family (2 adults max) per site, which allows for parents and their immediate dependent children. One extra related adult relative may be permitted (for an additional fee) on a site only with advance approval from Park Management. We may allow one additional adult (for a total of 4 adults) to stay on the site depending on the specific circumstance, if the total number of guests on a site does not exceed 6. If a family renting a site has only two adults and two children, they may add two additional children (total number of guests does not exceed 6). We do not offer group sites, therefore if there are two families, they will each need to rent their own campsite. A maximum of one camping unit plus one small 2-person pup tent for dependent young children is allowed on campsites. No additional tent allowed on rental unit sites.
RENTAL UNITS… Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent to occupy a rental unit. No smoking in rental units, and no pets inside or outside rental unit. Failure to obey these results may result in loss of deposit and termination of reservation. We must be courteous to individuals with allergies and other respiratory conditions. At departure, the rental unit is to be left “in the condition that it was when you first opened the door” (e.g., broom swept, garbage deposited at an outside dumpster, appliances and countertops wiped clean). All damages to the rental unit should be disclosed to Park Management immediately or at check out. If required, Park Management may contact you within 48 hours and discuss an appropriate cleaning or breakage fee up to the amount on hold for the retained security deposit. Check-out time is 10:00 am, and check-in time is 4:00 pm.
VISITORS... All visitors must register at the Ranger Station upon entering the park. Guest fees and car passes are required. Visitors must observe all Jellystone Park rules and are required to leave the park premises by 9:00 pm. Campers are responsible for the conduct of their guests while at the park.
CHILDREN’S CURFEW... Children’s curfew begins at 9:00 pm. Persons under 18 must be back at their campsite. No bike riding. The Ranger Station, playgrounds, pools and Goodie Shop are all closed.
QUIET HOURS... 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. At 1:00 am campsites close for the night, and campfires are to be extinguished. Emergency phone numbers are posted near the pay phone on the Restroom by the pools.
GARBAGE/RECYCLING... Guests are responsible for removing all garbage and recyclables from their campsite. Dumpsters for garbage and recyclables are located near Restrooms. Gray water or effluent must not be emptied on the ground per Wisconsin Law. Do not burn garbage in firepits.
PETS... Pets are not to disturb other campers, must be on a leash and attended at all times, and be cleaned up after. Pets are not allowed in any Jellystone Park buildings or pool enclosures. Barking at any time must be controlled as a courtesy to nearby campers. Pets are not permitted inside or outside rental units.
POOL... Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Proper swim attire must be worn - no cutoffs. Posted pool rules, which comply with Wisconsin State Laws, are enforced. No food, glass containers, pets, or smoking allowed within pool enclosures. No roughhousing, running inside enclosure, or diving is permitted. No lifeguard is on duty. Please be responsible for all your actions.
BICYCLES, E-BIKES, SKATEBOARDS... Do not ride on the sidewalk around the Ranger Station and ride responsibly at all times. Use of these items is prohibited after dark inside the park and should be used with caution and operated at very slow speeds to ensure the safety of individuals on foot – especially younger children that may be unaware of their surroundings.
MOTORIZED SCOOTERS, MOPEDS, MINI BIKES, ATVS, GOLF CARTS... Use of these items is prohibited at all times. Motorcycles, with a valid State registration and license plate, are allowed to and from your campsite.
GOODIE SHOP... We sell ice cream treats, iced lemonade, pizza, hotdogs, and chips. We also have a bicycle pump and swim toy inflator available for your use. Mini-Golf and recreational equipment are also available at the Goodie Shop. Recreational equipment is available on a deposit or sign-out basis.
FIREPITS/FIREWOOD... Use established fire pits only. Do not move pits or add new ones. Firewood is available at the Ranger Station when open. No cutting of trees, peeling of bark or gathering of firewood permitted. The woods surrounding the park are privately owned by our neighbors. Please do not trespass on their property.
ALCOHOL... Drinking by persons under the age of 21 is prohibited. Responsible behavior is required for campers and their guests over the age of 21 in regard to alcohol consumption.
FIREWORKS... By order of the Door County Board, any use of illegal fireworks will result in a fine and the loss of camping privileges at the park.
ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE… Physically-challenged individuals should notify Park Management when making a reservation and/or at check-in time so we may be of assistance.
PHOTOGRAPHS… Entrance onto the campground property constitutes permission for the management of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park of Door County to photograph the visitor while on the premises and to use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without compensation to the visitor.
By signing this agreement, I agree to comply with all of the above rules. Signors of this agreement are accountable for all actions of their family members and invited guests. Disregard for any of our Jellystone Park Rules and Terms of Service may result in the termination of your visit. Disregard for state laws and/or any fines incurred will become my responsibility.
