TERMS & CONDITIONS

A full list of campground rules is available at the park.  Below you will find some of the main issues you should be aware of BEFORE staying with us to make sure you enjoy your stay.  If you have any issues with these rules, we ask you to contact the park office for clarification.  

Cancellation:

  • 14 day or more notice         Minimum of ONE night NON REFUNDABLE on overnight Camping sites or cabin/bunkies  
  • 8-14 days notice                 50% refund
  • 7 days or less notice           No refund

You must send a email to info@hopebaycampground.com to cancel a reservation.

Reservation Changes

  • Changes to your reservation may be made after time of booking however if your reservation is shortened, the full amount of the original booking will be charged. Reservations may be transferred to a future date within the same calendar year as the original booking without forfeiting your deposit.

Late check-ins are permitted after hours but require prior arrangements with the office. In order to ensure the safety of our guests, late check-ins will not be  permitted after 9:00 pm.

SITE ASSIGNMENT:  Every effort will be made to accomodate you on the site that you have indicated on your reservation. Hope Bay Campground reserves the Right to modify your site assignment prior to check-in unless you lock in your site.

QUIET HOURS:  Our quiet hours start at 11:00PM and they are ENFORCED.  All music/radios must be off at 11:00 pm until 9:00 the next morning and voices minimal (soft voices) and children must be on their campsite. No driving through the campground at this time and early departures must be done very quietly. Campfires must be extinguished no later than 1:00 a.m.

FIREWOOD:  High quality firewood is available on site for a reasonable fee. 

NO OUTSIDE FIREWOOD IS ALLOWED.  You will find that our firewood is very reasonably priced, so please leave your firewood at home and support the park and the local workers.

ATV's can only be used to/from the back of the store to the trail and may not be ridden in the campground otherwise.  You must stay on roads and not cut thru any sites' green space, including your own.  Failure to adhere to this rule may result in your removal from the property without refund.

SPEEDING:  The speed limit throughout the park is 10kph.  One warning will be given for speeding.  A second incident will result in removal from park without refund.  When driving in the park, generally, if you are pressing the accelerator, you are speeding.  Just remember, speeding results in speed bumps!

PETS: We dont allow pet in the cabins or the Bunkies. 

We love to have pets at Hope Bay.  Your pets MUST be leashed and in your CONTROL at all times including when on your site.  If your pet's barking results in complaints from other campers, you may be asked to leave the park without refund.  We are responsible for ensuring that all campers can enjoy their stay, we are sure that you understand.   You are required to clean up after your pets.  Failure to do so, will result in your removal from the park without refund.  Clean up bags are available from the office if you forget to bring some.  Dogs are NOT to be left unattended in the park at any time to disturb other guests or destroy property.

NOTICE: Hope Bay Campground assumes no responsibility for any loss through fire, theft, power outages or interruptions, sewer backups, water breakages, collision or otherwise to trailers, additions, improvements or cars or their contents, regardless of cause. You agree that the use of the campground or its facilities is solely at the risk of yourself, your family and guests. You, your family and your guests, for themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns

HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE Hope Bay Campground, its agents, servants, successors and assigns OF AND FROM ALL CLAIMS, demands, damages, costs, expenses, actions and causes of action, whether in law or equity, in respect of death, injury, loss or damages to himself, his family or guests or their property HOWSOEVER CAUSED, arising or to arise by reason of occupation of the above mentioned site and use of the Campground or otherwise, whether prior to, during or subsequent to this AND NOTWITHSTANDING that the same may have been contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of any of the aforesaid. You further undertake on your own behalf and on behalf of your family and guests to indemnify all the aforesaid from and against any and all liability incurred by any or all of them arising as a result of or in any way connected with the contract.
