While we love Yarberry and site 67 is amazing, the new management is not the greatest. We have been going there for 10+ years and have seen many changes, this management is the worst yet. For a long time we were just able to drive to the site but now must stop in at the office, since the road from the office to the gate is very short, this causes a long wait time. Last time we were there we had to wait almost 30 min. If they are going to continue this then they need a way for traffic to flow. Site 67 is the most beautiful site in the park, but the fire pit is in the ground. This doesnt allow for proper air flow and causes the fire to smoke real bad and since the pit is so close to the trailer all the smoke gets accumulated in the trailer. I have complained about this for years and yet every time we tell them about it, they act as if they are hearing it for the first time. Also the speed limit of 5mph is continuously preached at check in but the staff will zoom around on the golf carts way faster then 5 mph. I wish they would change it to 10mph to make it a little better because 5 mph is very hard to maintain. The sites are constantly having electrical issues and each time the maintenance staff tells us that they will not pay to have the correct parts to install and tend to buy the cheaper parts that dont always fit. Another thing befor campspot took over, we used to be able to see the dates that certain sites were open, now we have to put in the dates first then just keep trying dates till we see that it is open. Most of the time i just get frustrated with the system and just call the office to book, but when you do that they just sound annoyed that they are helping you. This place is really beautiful and we are spoiled to have it so close, but the poor management\ campspot taking over has ran it into the ground.
