The Grand Haven Coast Guard Festival is a premier 10-day annual event in Grand Haven, Michigan honoring the U.S. Coast Guard with over 350,000 attendees. Dating back to 1924, this celebration features parades, fireworks, ship tours, a carnival, and the National Memorial Service, celebrating the "Coast Guard City, USA" designation. Key highlights and details include: Location: Downtown Grand Haven, along the boardwalk, and near the waterfront. Events: More than 38 events including the Kids Parade, Grand Parade, Carnival, Musical Entertainment, Fireworks and the World's Largest Musical Fountain. Activities: Ship tours, a craft fair, car show, and a "Walk of Coast Guard History". Significance: The festival honors the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard, featuring high-ranking dignitaries and a National Memorial Service.
