  Send us your favorite photos of McMullen Memorial County Park! No need to be a professional photographer to showcase the beauty and fun at McMullen.   Medallion Hunt

  April 4 - November 30

  Do your best to decipher clues to find the McMullen Medallion! The medallion hunt will kick off at 7 am on April 4th. The contest will end when the medallion is found or at 11 pm on the last day of camping, November 30th. See the Monroe County Forestry & Parks website and Facebook page for full contest details.   UW-Extension: Glaciers in Wisconsin

  August 7 - August 7

  Join us to hear from guest speaker, UW-Madison associate professor, Luke Zoet. Glaciers have been shaping the terrain of Wisconsin for hundreds of thousands of years, and perhaps most significantly, during the last Ice Age. Luke will talk about where the glaciers were, how they shaped the terrain, and examine some of the landforms they left behind. Meet at the shelter at 9 am.

  Universe in the Park

  August 15 - August 15

  Come for an evening of star gazing with the La Crosse Area Astronomical Society. There will be a presentation at the shelter starting at 7:30, and a chance to view the night sky through telescopes from 8:45 - 10 pm. Please bring your own chair, seating may be limited.
