  Campground Kickoff Weekend

  August 15 - August 17

  It’s time to gear up for one of our favorite times of year here in the South—college football season! Whether you’re loyal to your hometown team or just here for the food and fun, this weekend is all about showing your spirit and celebrating together! Friday, August 15 🧠 8:30 PM – Team Trivia @ the Pavilion Gather your smartest campers (or your funniest ones!) and join us for a few rounds of friendly team trivia. From football facts to random fun, it’s the perfect way to kick off the weekend and earn bragging rights. Saturday, August 16 🎨 10:30 AM – Craft Hour @ the Pavilion We’ll have both free and paid craft options available to keep everyone creative and in the game day spirit. 🍔 6:00 PM – Tailgate Party & Grill-Off @ the Pavilion This is where the real fun begins. Bring your favorite team’s gear and decorate your golf cart, buggy, or a picnic table to match your team spirit—think flags, mascots, foam fingers, and more! Campers are invited to bring: Snacks or drinks to share Tailgate games like cornhole or ladder toss And if you’re feeling bold... your grill! 🔥 We'll be holding a friendly Grill-Off competition—bring your A-game and cook up your best dish to compete for the title of “Ohoopee Grill Master”! 🎤 8:00 PM – Karaoke Night @ the Pavilion The tailgate fun rolls right into our classic Saturday night karaoke! 8:00 PM – Kids Karaoke (12 & Under) 9:00 PM – Adult Karaoke (13 & Over) Whether you’re belting out your team’s fight song or bringing the house down with a stadium anthem, we want to hear you loud and proud! 🎽 All Weekend Long: Dress in your favorite team’s colors, decorate your site, and show off your game day pride! We may just have a few surprise shoutouts for the most spirited fans and setups.

  Aloha Summer Weekend (Labor Day Weekend)

  August 29 - September 1

  We’re closing out summer in tropical style with our Aloha Summer Weekend—a festive, laid-back Labor Day celebration full of sweet treats, colorful crafts, island games, and good vibes all around. Come soak up the final days of summer with your fellow campers and say “mahalo” to another season of unforgettable memories! Friday, August 29 🍦 8:30 PM – Ice Cream Social @ Camp Store Cool down with a build-your-own ice cream treat! Pay per scoop; toppings available. 🎲 9:30 PM – Snack BINGO @ the Pavilion Bring a non-meltable snack to use as your bingo “entry fee”—then win snacks, laugh with your neighbors, and enjoy some low-key competition. Great for all ages! Saturday, August 30 🎨 10:30 AM – Craft Hour @ the Pavilion We’ll offer both free and paid craft options, with tropical and summery projects perfect for campers of all ages. Get creative and take home a little piece of the weekend! 🎤 8:00 PM – Karaoke Night @ the Pavilion Sing your heart out under the stars! Kids Karaoke (12 & under) begins at 8 PM Adult Karaoke (13 & over) takes over at 9 PM Bring your beachy best and show off those island vocals! Sunday, August 31 🌺 7:00 PM – Luau Celebration @ the Pavilion Break out the leis, flip flops, and coconut cups—it’s luau time! Campers are invited to: Decorate a table with tropical flair (first come, first served!) Dress in their best hula gear—think grass skirts, floral shirts, big sunglasses Bring snacks or drinks to share Join in the fun with music, dancing, and island-style games It’s the perfect way to unwind and wrap up an amazing summer at the river. 🎉 All Weekend Long: Don’t forget to decorate your site in tropical style and join the fun even if you’re just relaxing.
