1. A completed registration form or online data entry is required by a member of the camping party who is over 18 years old. The camping fee(s) are required at transaction being completed.

2. Campers are required to camp in designated camp sites and may not park more than two vehicles without trailers per site. A Trailer counts as one vehicle. Tent Campers are limited to two tents per site. A $5.00 fee is charged for each additional tent, room on site permitting. For each additional vehicle, you may purchase a $5.00 parking permit to park in the Buckhorne's camper designated parking lot.

3. The individual who signs the camping registration form must accept responsibility for all members of his/her camping party, which is not to exceed eight campers. Consequently, the camper who registers, along with the members of his/her party, agrees to refrain from the use of profane language.

4. You must be 21+ to consume alcohol in the campground and all alcohol must be in non-alcohol branded containers or cups. 21+ campers are advised to always carry their government issued identification and to drink responsibly. In keeping with a family friendly environment, excessive drinkng or public intoxification will not be tolerated. Violators will be requested to leave teh campground without a refund.

5. Campers and guests must refrain from building fires anywhere on the Buckhorne's property except within the provided campfire rings. Violators will be charged a $10.00 fee to the credit card on file.

6. Quiet hours at the Buckhorne Campground begin at 10:00 p.m. each night and end at 8:00 a.m. each morning. Campers or guests who violate this rule will be required to leave the premises without a refund.

7. Campers and guests of campers who have pets must control their pets and keep them away from other camp sites. According to Virginia State Law, all dog chains or leashes must be a minimum of 15 ft in length and are required for each dog that is outside of its tent, vehicle or RV. Chaining or leashing dogs outdoors is only permitted when temperatures are above 32 degrees or below 85 degrees farenheit in the location where the dog is chained. Campers are responsible for cleaninng up after their pets, and dog owners must refrain from walking their dogs outside the designated dog walk area provided adjacent to the log cabin by route 629. Owners are required to clean up after thier pets, droppings included.

8. A dumpster is provided for all camper's trash. This is behind the Camp store. Pleas dispose of all garbage appropriately.

9. No cleaning of game or fish on the Buckhorne property is allowed. Washing vehicles, RVs, trailers, etc. on Buckhorne property is prohibited by campers and guests.

10. The check out time for RVs and tent campers is 12:00 p.m. and the check out time for those who stay in any of the Buckhorne's indoor rentals is 10:00 a.m. Those who have not vacated camp sites or indoor rentals by these times will be charged for an additional day of rent. "Check Out" means that campers or renters have returned their keyes to the Buckhorne Country Store and have vacated their rented premises by these times (keys are to be placed in the mailbox on the store's front porch fi campers and/or renters leave before the store opens.)

12. Space heaters must be RV rated. Must be ceramic and have standard safety features

13. No Cryptozoic creatures in the Bath House

14. No howling at the moon after 10:00 p.m.

15. Fires must not resemble a Viking funeral. State issued burn-bans will be enforced.

16. Campground is not to be treated like a theme park.

17. Hitting on female employees incurs a $12.00 fine.

a. No scrap-metal creatures

b. No post-apocalyptic scenery

c. No permanent yard sale zones

d. No mystery piles

e. No I'll deal with it later collections

f. Sites are not to look as if you are auditioning as the 'before' photo of a renovation show.

The Bathhouse is not a nightclub.
No gossiping about the local wild life, owls especially.
No Film Noir at the Ice Cream Store.
The Mirror in the Salon is Not a Portal to See Alice.

By signing the agreement form, you are indicating that you have fully read and understand and agree to abide by the Buckhorne Campground rules as outlined. Failure to abide by these rules will terminate this agreement and violators will be requested to leave the campground without a refund.
