THE CAMPER AGREES THAT VIOLATION OF ANY RULE HEREIN BY A CAMPER, THEIR GUESTS OR THEIR VISITOR CONSTITUTES A MATERIAL BREACH OF THE AGREEMENT AND IN THE DISCRETION OF THE OWNER MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EJECTMENT OF THE CAMPER.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT TIMES: Applicable for short term Campers. Check in at the main office and store is between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Check out time is at 12:00 noon. Campsites should be left in the same condition as it was at beginning of Camper stay. Please notify office of any issue with site prior to departure.

REGISTRATION: All Campers are always required to register at the front desk and display vehicle tag in car on-site. Registered campers are responsible for the actions of their children, pets and guests. Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult whenever away from their assigned site. Any acts of criminal behavior including but not limited to property damage, disorderly conduct, and/or threatening or assaultive behavior on behalf of the Camper, their guests, or visitors, as determined by and in the sole discretion of the owner will result in immediate ejectment of the camper from the park without refund.

VISITORS: All registered Campers are responsible for their visitors. All visitors must register at the office upon arrival. There is a daily charge of $5.00 per day; $10.00 overnight for visitors who wish to use our facilities. Visitors should not arrive before 8:00 AM and must depart by 9:00 PM. Visitors May Not bring pets on site.

QUIET HOURS: We observe quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM each day. Quiet hours prohibit loud noise of any type from within or outside the camping unit, as determined by and in the sole discretion of the owner, is prohibited during those hours. Quiet hours are strictly enforced.

REASONABLE EXPECATATION OF BEHAVIOR: Campers, Guests and Visitors are expected to act reasonably while visiting our property so as to not interfere with others use and enjoyment of the property, including but not limited to loud music, excessive noise, rude or belligerent behavior as examples during any time of day. Please make sure all parties know they should not enter or cut cross other camper’s sites.

PETS: Maximum of 3 well behaved pets per registered site are welcome. Please review and execute the full pet policy. Current copies of Rabies certificate / expiration date must be received in order to stay on property. You are responsible to maintain control of your pet(s) and clean up after your pet(s). Service animals are not considered pets. Please notify us if you have a service animal so we may better assist you.

CAMPFIRES: Wood is not permitted to be brought from outside of the State of NH. Our fire permit allows for small campfires in specific locations. Fires must be in existing fire rings only and the flame must be kept no more than two foot high. Bonfires are not permitted. Burning trash or garbage of any kind in the fire rings is strictly prohibited. Fires must be out by 12:00 midnight. Moving of fire rings is strictly prohibited. Fires are to be extinguished before leaving the area and are not to be left unattended. You may use fallen branches/sticks from the surrounding woods for firewood however, cutting, damaging, or removing any branches/sticks/or limbs from trees or brush is strictly prohibited. We comply with state, county and town fire restrictions and guidance.

SPEED LIMITS AND PARKING: Speed limit throughout the property is 5 mph. Please obey the speed limits posted and all traffic signs. Parking is allowed only in designated areas. There is no parking permitted on the campground roads in order to allow access for emergency vehicles.

TRASH: Place all food waste and household debris in the dumpster which is located near the propane fill station as you exit the campground. Nothing other than food waste and containers are to be deposited in the dumpster. All other types of trash are to be removed by the camper upon leaving the site and disposed of off premises.

BATHHOUSE: Rest Rooms/Showers/Laundry: Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please do not flush feminine products, flushable wipes, baby wipes, paper towels, excessive amounts of toilet paper, plastic or food. These items will clog the pipes and require the bathhouse to be closed for repair. Please advise the main office of any issues or concerns regarding the area so they may be addressed immediately. Dishes are not to be washed in the bathhouse sinks. Smoking is prohibited in the restrooms.

POOL: Please read and comply with all rules and regulations posted at the swimming pool. Please note that THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY - YOU SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Food and glass are not permitted in the pool area. Smoking is not permitted in the pool area. Adult supervision of all children under 14 is required. Swimming alone is not permitted by anyone. Shoes or sandals are to be worn to and from the pool. It is required that you use the outdoor shower to rinse off prior to entry to pool. No Pets are allowed in the pool area. The Pool is open from 10:00 AM until dusk. Pool is open from Memorial Day – Labor Day.

FISHING POND: We annually stock the fishing pond for the enjoyment of our campers. You are required to comply with the posted rules and regulations at the site and either catch and release with a non-barbed hook and limit your take to one fish per day per person. Our pond is clean and healthy. Please respect the wildlife and do not remove or touch any of the creatures that live there: including clams, frogs, crayfish, turtles, ducks etc. They are all important to the pond’s ecology. There is no swimming or wading in the pond.

PADDLE BOATS AND KAYAKS: Provided to our guests as a courtesy for your enjoyment for use at your own risk. Life jackets are required for all participants and are provided in the equipment closet. Adult supervision of all children under age 12 is required.

PLAYGROUND: Adult supervision of all children under 12 is required when they are using the playground.

RECREATION HALL: The rec hall is currently closed. Compliance with the posted rules is required. All equipment and games are to be returned to their proper location after use. Adult supervision of all children under 12 is required.

TREES: Trees are important to the climate and beauty of the campground. Do not cut or damage live trees, shrubs, or undergrowth in any way. Remove all rope and cords from trees before leaving.

BICYCLES: Bicycles are allowed at the Foothills Family Campground. Bike Helmets Are Required For Riders Under 16 Years of Age (NH RSA 265:144X). Bicycles may be ridden on the property from 8 am to dusk. Bicycles must not cross other campsites. Bicycles are ridden at your own risk.

PARKING: Parking is allowed only in campsites and in designated parking areas. Parking is prohibited along campground roads or in the underbrush. Onsite parking is limited to one car. All other vehicles are to remain in the main parking lot.

SHOES: Shoes or sandals are required on all pressure treated decks, in the store, and all buildings.

PHOTOS/ VIDEO: Foothills Family Campground will take photos/ videos of events and activities going on at the campground to be used for advertising, social media for both internal and external purposes. By signing this document, you grant permission for use without payment or compensation.

NOT ALLOWED: We do not allow the use of the following in the campground: fireworks of any kind, mini-bikes, motor bikes, & ATV’s and personal chainsaws or other power equipment.

By signing this agreement, you are attesting that all person(s) staying at the campground have complied with the current NH Covid Guidelines which can be found - https://www.covidguidance.nh.gov/out-state-visitors

WAIVER: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS!

This Release and Waiver of Liability (the “Release”) executed on this day “Camper” in favor of Foothills Family Campground, Tamworth, NH their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively referred to hereinafter as “Campground”).

The Camper is vacationing at the Campground and during the vacation, the Camper may avail himself/herself of the various recreational activities/amusements offered by the Campground.

These would include but not be limited to: swimming and water activity facilities such as pools, slides, sprinklers and lakes; inflatable amusements such as bounce houses, slides and obstacle courses, hiking and bicycle paths/trails, playgrounds, fishing facilities, exercise equipment, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, laser tag, dog runs, skating areas, boating, miniature golf, shuffle board and bocce courts, and naturally surfaced playing fields. (Collectively referred to hereinafter as “Activities”).

The Camper hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue the campground, their owners, directors, employees, agents and volunteers, heretofore referred to as the releasees, and releases them from all liability for any or all loss or damage and any claim or demands therefore on account of injury to the person resulting from the above identified activity(s) participation by the Camper whether caused by the negligence of the releasees, or otherwise while the undersigned is in or on the premises of the campground.

The Camper hereby agrees to indemnify the releasees and save and hold harmless the releasees from any loss, liability, damage or cost they incur due to their participation in the activity(s) whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.

The Camper hereby assumes full responsibility for any and all risk of bodily injury from participation in the above referenced activity(s) due to the negligence of the releasees or otherwise while in or on the campground premises.

The Camper understands and acknowledges as with any campsite in its natural setting nuisances exist, including but not limited to, wild animals, insects, and poisonous plants, all of which can cause bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage.

The Camper hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue the campground owners, directors, employees, volunteers or agents, heretofore referred to as the releasees and releases them from any and all liability and any and all loss of damage and any claims or demands therefore on account of injury to the person of the undersigned from the above referenced nuisances whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise while the undersigned is in or on the premises of the campground.

The Camper hereby agrees to indemnify and save and hold harmless the releasees from any loss, liability, damage or cost they may incur from the above referenced nuisances due to the presence of the undersigned in or on the premises of the campground whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.

The Camper hereby assumes all responsibility for and risk of bodily injury from said nuisances whether due to the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.

OTHER: Camper expressly agrees that should any part of this waiver be found invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release which shall continue to be enforceable.

Camper acknowledges that he/she has read the within Release and Waiver of Liability and has a full understanding of same.

Parent/Legal Guardian agree that their signature and agreement is required on behalf of any minor(s) within the Camper's party.

Pet Policy

Foothills Family Campground is a pet friendly park and we ask that you be a responsible pet owner when bringing pets with you.

This pet policy constitutes an addendum to the campground agreement and violation of any if its terms by the camper, their guests, or their visitors, constitutes a material breach of the agreement and in the discretion of the Recreational Campground owner may result in ejectment of the camper from the campground.

You, as a registered camper may have a maximum of 3 pets registered per campsite. Aggressive dogs are not permitted, and it will be at the sole discretion of the Recreational Campground owner “Recreational Campground”. The breed of the dog(s) and their names must be provided below, or they will not be allowed on site. Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets to the campground at any time.

You must provide proof of all pets' vaccination records at prior to arrival. Current vaccination records must be good through the length of your stay and must include valid rabies and DHPP vaccinations. You may send a photo, email, snail mail, or email direct from the vet to us. Please include your arrival date. FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROPER DOCUMENTATION WILL PROHIBIT YOU FROM STAYING AT THE CAMPGROUND WITHOUT REFUND.

Campers are responsible for the cleanup and disposal of solid pet waste immediately; that includes within the designated dog park. Waste bags are provided throughout the campground.

Canine guests must always be leashed on the campground property except for the designated dog park located near the bathhouse. Radio collars or voice control is not considered "leashed".

Aggressive behavior by pets is Not Permitted anywhere on the premises. Aggressive behavior will be defined at the sole discretion of the Recreational Campground owner. Upon notification by the Recreational Campground owner that the pet has been aggressive and is no longer allowed in the campground, the animal will be removed immediately.

Nuisance barking is not allowed in any area of the campground. Excessive/continuous barking is not allowed. Anti-Barking collars or devices are recommended.

Pets are not permitted to be left outside, unattended by the Camper.

If canine guests are to be left unattended in an RV or rental unit, a contact number must be left with the campground office.

DOG PARK: Use of the dog park is a privilege that can be revoked at the sole discretion of the Recreational Campground owner if they determine the posted rules have been violated.

Canine guests may never be left unattended in any off-leash area. You must be within view and voice control of your dog(s) at all times.

Leashed dogs are not permitted in off-leash areas with other dogs. Enter the dog park, secure outer gate, unleash your dog, enter dog enclosure, never open both gates at once.

No human food or dog treats are allowed in the dog park while other dogs are also in the park. Glass containers are always prohibited in the dog park.

Digging or destructive behavior by animals is prohibited. If your pet digs, please stop them and refill holes accordingly.

Please observe and follow all dog park rules as posted.

Any violation of these provisions, determined at the sole discretion of the Recreational Campground owner, may result in the immediate removal of the animal from the campground. Failure to remove pet from property will result in ejectment of Camper and Guests.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

Our policy on reservations and cancellations is as follows:

RESERVATIONS:

1) Reservations require payment in full.

2) Holidays require a minimum stay of 3 nights.

3) Check in is between 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm and check out by 12:00 pm.

CANCELLATIONS:

Please contact our office at 603-323-8322 for cancellations or changes to reservation. We ask that you provide us with at least 10 days advanced notice for a cancellation or a change to reservations.

1) Cancellations received greater than 10 days from the date of arrival are refundable minus $25 for processing fees. You may choose to have remaining funds applied as a camp credit for future reservations that must be scheduled prior to the end of the current camping season. If not used prior to end of camping season balance is non-refundable.

2) Cancellations requested between 3-10 days from the date of arrival are subject to a deduction of 50% of original reservation as non-refundable.

3) Cancellations received with 2 days or less from the date of arrival are non-refundable.

4) No show, failure to cancel a reservation, leaving your site early from a reservation is non-refundable.

Please note that camping is an outdoor activity. We do not charge extra for sunshine and we don’t offer refunds due to inclement weather.
