Kinyon’s Canyon Campsite Rules
- The use of chainsaws is not allowed at any time.
- Cutting of trees or saplings is not allowed. The trees on the bank, no matter how small, hold the bank together and prevent erosion of the campground from flood waters. The rest replace what gets cut from tree maintenance.
- No guns at any time. We support your 2nd amendment rights, but this isn’t the place.
- No motorized vehicles are to be used with the exception of the car/truck/suv/motorcycle you came in with. No atv’s, gators, golf carts, dirt bikes, pocket rockets, or anything bigger or more powerful than a power wheel or handicapped electric wheelchair is allowed.
- Speed limit is 5 mph on all camp property. Please watch for children and other campers; we all walk the roads.
- Keep all dogs under contol, on your assigned site and clean up after your pet. If you are walking your animals through camp, they must be able to be restrained immediately. You, the person that has the animal in thier possession, are responsible for that animal and all occurances that arise from them. You must be aware of the other dogs in the campground, and accept responsibility for any encounter, as well as waste. Please be courteous and respect other's boundaries the way you'd expect they'd respect yours.
- Pets must havce valid NYS Vacciations on file with KCC
- Children and guests are the responsibility of the people whos site they belong to; NO EXCEPTIONS. You will be held responsible for the actions of them.
- You are responsible for the appearance of your campsite; please keep it clean and neat.
- Blue boys or Honey pots are to be used for catching the discharge from your gray and black tanks, or you must empty your tanks directly into the dump station.THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. ANYONE VIOLATING THIS RULE MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE PROPERTY AND/OR RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CLEANUP/COST?FINES ASSOCIATED WITH THEIR SEWAGE.
- Children must be supervised at all times. They must not be allowed to roam through others’ sites without prior permission.
- All fires must be extinguished when leaving your site.
- Burn your paper products and other legally burnable items. If the dumpster is full you will be required to remove your own garbage from the property.
- Garbage cannot be left on a site after Sunday. All garbage MUST BE PROPERLY DISPOSED OF.
- DO NOT BURN DIAPERS.
- Do not place ashes, charcoal or construction debris in the dumpster
- If you have a visitor, their vehicle is to be on your site.
- When using the 2 dump stations on the property, please clean them and leave them ready for the next person. If there is a problem with either dump site PLEASE REPORT TO MANAGEMENT
- Quiet time is 9pm to 9am on Sundays through Thursdays, on Fridays and Saturday it is 10pm to 9 am
- Checkout time for visitors and weekend camp sites is 1pm.
- ALL VISITORS, INCLUDING THE CHILDREN OF YOUR GUESTS MUST BE REGISTERED.
- Any unwanted returnable cans and bottles may be donated to the camp fund. Ask your fellow campers for details.
- Each site is equipped with a 20 amp 120v plug. Hot water tanks, hot plates or any other high energy device will cause your meter to spin wildly.
- To prevent abuse and damage, tents must be taken down if noone is staying in them.
