Very peaceful and quiet. Not many people are camping at this time of the year at this location.

We liked the park. But did not like that. The spots weren’t very gravel and there was a lot of Sandy find dirt that got all through your trailer. Glad we were not there when it was super busy.

The cabin was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The small. Reek in front made for the perfect noise to fall asleep to. It was a very nice stay.

The facilities were cool, we enjoyed the water slide. For me personally, I won’t go back. The office/store hours were an inconvenience for us, 9am-5pm weekdays and 9-7 weekends. We had issues that needed addressing before and after hours and we had to wait for help. I feel like 8am - 8pm would be more reasonable hours. Or at least have an office staff on call for issues. We rented one of their campers on site and came in at midnight, the camper was dirty as if it was wiped down with a dry cloth and swept. It smelled heavily of sewage and the gray water tank was full so we couldn’t shower or wash dishes. We just dealt with the smell and waited until 9am to go to the office. They did address the issues quickly (put deodorizer in sewage tank and emptied gray water) however, the smell never really went away it only got milder. The gray water tank filled up everyday (we were there 5 days) and we didn’t even take showers, only used the tub for a quick clean of my 4 year old. We had to use the bathhouse showers as we didn’t want to have to ask them to empty the gray water multiple times a day as it was mostly after hours when we got back for the day and they weren’t available . The bathhouse showers were DIRTY and smelled stale and moldy. It was a bummer to not be able to use the camper shower. I know camping is camping and I’m not trying to sound cliche. We normally camp in a tent and use bathhouses. I’m not against roughing it, trust me. It was the fact that we splurged for a camper for my birthday week and couldn’t enjoy the full effect of it. The staff was friendly and like I said they did address all issues. However I feel like they should’ve had the gray water empty upon our arrival and checked inside for smell. They said it smells when it’s not used for a while. So they should’ve checked….just my opinion. I have been to other campgrounds with clean bathhouses and bathrooms, and with staff on call for issues 24/7. For these reasons we will not return. But the facility is nice otherwise and they had some good activities for kids. It was also in a good location to gaitlinburg and pigeon forge.

The camp ground is gorgeous! The staff are so nice! So much stuff to do at the camp ground!

Clean bathrooms, close to amenities, and beautiful view of river.

Campground was nice our spot was great. Only issue that we had was ticks were everywhere we probably got 10 off us or our clothes from being outside.

Check in/check out was very easy, bathrooms and showers were clean, and this has really good proximity to GSMNP and Gatlinburg.

Our family and I love camping in here the activities for the kids are amazing celebrating Halloween

The restroom and shower facilities are in dire need of cleaning and maintenance. Layers of dirt and black mold so gross and not acceptable!!! The cable tv does. It work extremely fuzzy at best. WiFi was fair to non existent. The picnic table at our site was peeling and falling apart . Fire rings extremely rusty. Not much of a playground for kids one swingset and slide . The waterslide and pool were closed for the season but appeared old and not maintained . Game room needs maintenance and updating. The electric and water worked fine. Do not recommend. I do not understand how a facility such as this could obtain a Campspot award. Since it did I believe that designation should be reserved for superior campgrounds which this is not.

Nice campground but the bathrooms were poorly maintained (frequently out of TP, soap and generally dirty). It was a holiday weekend so I do understand that might have been why the bathrooms weren’t great. The Gaga ball and the playground were big hits with my kids.

The ladies bathroom didn’t have toilet paper or soap for quite a while, and was never cleaned while I was there.

Campspot was left with trash laying around. Area needs a bit updating.

Staff was helpful and very nice. Accommodations met expectations. Lots of activities for the kids, though we had other plans. We plan to come again!
