Albuquerque Tijeras Mountain RV Resort — Reviews

I stayed for a week, the main water lines busted on my 4th day there and the water from the busted lines was created a creek behind my camper and then proceeded to flow into other spots. This went on for the remainder of my time there and no heads up was made about it or reimbursement was offered.

Site needs alot of improvement. Road up and down the road because the sign on the road was not mountain rv. Pool not open water was out for most of the time.on the site. I did manage to fill my rv water tank.

Convenient. Reserving on-line is easy but using the PA discount is not as easy. The office was closed, and we pulled out before they opened the next day.

Excellent park, wide spaces.

Very tight sites up on top of mountain. Neighbors dogs barked constantly.

This campground is the worst I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in many. It’s a parking lot full of gravel and dirt. Lots of ruts in the road and pot holes. This place is lacking luster and for the $100 a night price tag you’d expect a lot more.

Bathroom situation was unacceptable. I like how the new owners are working hard to make improvements.

I am sorry but we were not impressed by this campground. Very rough ground. Sites right on top of each other. Only had 2 bath houses for hundreds of campers and then CLOSED one of them. Would not ever stay there again.

The park is not well maintained with lots of potholes in the roads. Our slot was quite narrow. There is no wi-fi or cable. On a positive note it was very quiet.

Looks like new owners are trying to improve the property. Currently no activities, nothing in the camp store at all. The bathrooms were not stocked with paper products. No outdoor lighting on the property. Looks to have more long term renters than short term campers.

It was very quaint and quiet, we had a relaxing time.

Friendly and clean facilities. Camp spaces are Very small. No picnic table nor room to setup a table. Laterally very unlevel. Had to navigate some rather large potholes in and out. Hard to find the sign is only partially visible from one direction and not at all from the other. Dog barking most of the time. Nice area….

The office staff was very friendly but the state of the facilities was very poor. Broken glass around our site, the bathrooms were not clean, one of the toilets in the men’s room was full and could not be flushed, a not on the toilet said it was broken and the date on the note was over 2 weeks old. Most of the RV spots appeared to be long term renters, which is fine but the lots had over grown grass, junk and trash.

Seems like a place with huge potential but it is not being kept up. The employees were fine but the place is run down. Clubhouse has the best internet but sadly it was closed, pool green! Sites unlevel, but I’ve had worse. Difficult to find after you exit off of I-40, little signage information.

Not well maintained. Woman’s shower ceiling falling down, pool was greenish and men’s bathroom smelled. Spots not marked very well and we ended up in the wrong spot and no one said anything for 2 days.

This is an old RV park with bumpy dirt roads, weeds and aging fixtures. The Electric, water and sewer were fine. The pull through spot we had was level, long enough for our RV and towed car BUT rather narrow. No picnic table or fire pit..

It was a convenient location and clean.
