Our camper got invaded by thousands of ants due to an apparently known ant issue. After we came back to camp after a full day of sight seeing in LA we found a full on ant hill had invaded our travel trailer. When we went up to the gatehouse to say that we needed to move sites the attendant gave us tips for how he camps and avoids the ants. Then the next morning we had to talk with the office to get a different campsite and they said they know they have an ant problem but that they aren’t allowed to spray due to water contamination. Why not warn your customers then? Why not provide preventative suggestions prior to their arrival? We paid for three nights at this place and had to stay in a hotel for two of them and the park won’t even respond to my emails requesting a refund under the circumstances. While there are beautiful views I would not recommend staying here. We are out so much money and experienced such a hassle and inconvenience with our 9 month old baby.
