Nice, quiet place to stay right on the river and walking/biking path.

Beautiful quiet spot along the wildlife sanctuary. Bike trail was only a few yards away. Turtles, deer, geese visited us often.

It was quiet, it was an off week and there was only 2 campers up front . No real shade and spits 11 and 12 both have trees and are very tight for bigger rigs

The campsite we had was very narrow, but it was long and located near a walking trail. It looked quite a bit different online than it did in person. With two dogs, the walking trail was way too close, and we felt we had no privacy. The campground itself was beautiful, especially being right on the water. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again, but I would choose a different campsite next time.

Camp host was friendly, stopped in to make sure we had everything we needed for our 1st trip of the year. Very helpful with keeping our busy group organized and happy.

It was fine. We didn’t use the bathrooms so can’t comment. The caretaker was polite and helpful. We didn’t realize there is a dog shelter about 100 feet from our site (#54) and it got quite loud a few times with barking dogs. If we return we would choose to stay on the river side, might be buggy but it appears quieter.

Nice large lot, beautiful view of the lake and the Camp host was great.

Loud barking dogs, homeless people everywhere, no where to put trash. Felt like we had to have everything locked up at all times. Surrounded by seagulls & near loud busy road. Would not recommend, especially for people staying in tents.

It was a very quiet weekend. Bathrooms were very clean! Quiet neighbors….

Helpful office staff, quiet site on the bike path and waterfront views.

The location is close to everything in town and right on the river. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Otherwise, the entire campground needs a total overhaul. Even some paint and landscaping would go a long way. This could be such a beautiful and sought after campground but it seems like the county wont put any money into it.

No water hook up

We chose the worst space from the map and had no idea. We did not have a fire ring, never found the showers and there was goose feces everywhere, as well as large branches. The noise was horrible, but I understand you have no control over that. I felt that it was false advertising with the factory across the street, so close to our camper. It was funny, one side was beautiful and the other was not. The walkway was 10 feet from our door, no privacy, and wow is your fairgrounds busy. All hours of the night cars racing by. On the last day we found the nice spots and will chose those if we come back next year. This spot was my fault I guess. I thought I was choosing a quiet spot, but did not.

Great outdoor sites but very poor cleanliness in showers. Stayed six nights total and the same garbage and waste was still in there the whole time.

Clean well taken care of everyone is friendly ☺️ definitely consider going back in the future. Me and my family had a great time. Although the only thing I didn’t like was the shower don’t stay running it shuts off after 2-3 minutes. ☺️ Would of liked a closer spot than I was at I was told it was full but it wasn’t

Adequate but noisy in the daytime for near road campsites . The backlots are much quieter but the flies are very plentiful. Choose your desired atmosphere. You cannot have both ways.

Clean grounds and restrooms/showers. Nice walk path along the river. And close to town.

Grassy area, quiet, open spaces, just lovely!
