Ames Brook Campground — Reviews

The camp ground was great. The dogs loved the walking trails. Our site was good . The only thing I was not comfortable with were the septic connections. There were no threads in the site piping so elbow connection could not be properly secured.

Campground was ok. No cable and the WiFi was not very good

Everything about the campground is wonderful. The staff is super, the spots are gorgeous! You can’t go wrong.

This was such a lovely campground! The owners were so incredibly nice and the whole experience was great! Site 65 was spacious and private and we’d definitely come back!

This was our 4th visit to Ames Brook as we live locally and it never disappoints. Site# 49 this time was tucked away nicely and a good size for our 34 ft fifth wheel with plenty of room in front and behind. One of the parties we were with had some issues with their new Class A and the owner happily came up to the site to look at things. The grounds are clean and quiet- staff are very friendly. Good location just outside the center of Ashland and convenient to 93. We will be back again next year I'm sure!

Great atmosphere, lovely scenery and helpful staff.

Online check-in was a breeze, so on-site check-in was quick and efficient. Our site was large, private a beautifully maintained. We loved having the little brook behind us where our dog could go in and cool off. We appreciate the upgrades and maintenance of the place. Pricing is a little pricey, but I'm sure that has to do with the cost of maintaining this campground and being able to make improvements as they've done.

Great hosts. Very nice sites and close to amazing hiking. Stayed there as it was close to a concert venue in Plymouth. Happy we found this campground and enjoyed our stay.

Location. Quiet. Large, secluded, wooded sites. Great neighbors. We like it quiet and turn in early, so perfect for us.

We really liked this campground. It's really clean and quiet. Our site was right by the brook, great size spot and really peaceful. The people running the campground are nothing short of amazing! We had some car trouble and they got my husband to the store to get what we needed. It sounds like a small thing, but when you're away from home and worried about your car and how you're going to get what you need without the car running, it's everything! They were so friendly and welcoming, we will definitely put this on our list of campgrounds to return to.
