Love this little lake! Perfect for families with little ones!

The park is beautiful!! Loved the sidewalks throughout the park for walking!!! We had a wonderful stay and am looking forward to camping there again!!! Thank you!!

Nice setting, clean, pretty surrondings. Bathroom smelt so bad could not use and online reservation a little complicated. Need to have site numbers on map.

Love the quiet and beauty of the lake

The bathroom/shower house needs some serious attention.

The camp spots needed weed eated and there were several stickers in the swim area.

I would give this campground a higher rating, but the water faucet situation is really frustrating. There are very few faucets available, and each one has to be shared by about 6–8 campsites. Aside from that, it is a wonderful place to camp.

With all the rain we had drainage was a problem

The spot was very well taken care of. The lake was nice and the scenery was even better. Will stay there again.

The online reservation and check in was easy. The lake was beautiful, the electric worked well and the sites were easy to level out on. The grass needed to be cut, but it wasn’t bad with our rugs out.

The campground was very clean, and we really enjoyed the walking trail. The lake was nice, and everyone we encountered was polite and followed basic camping etiquette, which made for a peaceful stay. The main downside was that there were not enough faucets/water hookups, picnic tables, or fire pits available for campers. Adding more of those amenities would make the campground much more convenient and enjoyable. Overall, it was a clean, friendly campground with a great trail and lake access, but it could use some improvements with the basic campsite amenities.

Anthony lake is my favorite place to visit and stay!!! Great up keep, walking paths, kids activities, golf course was amazing and lots of area to gather and have a great time with friends and family!!!

I am a tent camper, this is about tent camping only. We chose Anthony because we are about to begin harvest and needed to stay close to home. From what I saw, the RV side seems nice. But tent camping is not good here and I would not recommend it. There is no clearly defined tent areas. Camp D is over half a mile to a bathroom, no lake access, no trash bins, and there were only 2 tables and 2 fire pits. I emailed and asked where I could set up other than D. We set up near the gun club. The bathrooms are just 2 pit toilets and I wouldnt use the "shower" even if it did work. We couldnt find a camp host anywhere, nothing marked, no signs, nothing. The majority of the area is private homes, and they do not have to follow campground rules. I endured loud parties until 4 am all 3 nights, dogs barking all day and night at one house. We barely slept. The lake is very small for motor boats, yet they were going as fast as they could and being as loud as they could. It would be very dangerous for kayakers or paddleboarders. One person kept driving by slowly and starting at us and made us concerned for our safety, with no camp host to be found and never saw a police patrol of any kind. It is not a comfortable place to tent camp and we will not go back. Its unfortunate because we live within an hour.
