We are the closest Williamsburg RV park to all the nearby attractions: Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Water Country USA, Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown Settlement, Historic Jamestowne, America's Revolution Museum at Yorktown, Yorktown Battlefield, and more. We were voted 2018 National RV Park of the Year, 2019 Williamsburg's Small Business of the Year, and the "National Small RV Park of the Year" by the National RV Parks Association — along with other awards! We're also one of the longest operating park in the entire country. Our family is very proud of our historical ties to Colonial Williamsburg. Our symbol, the Anvil, comes from our family's history in blacksmithing. We've modernized to offer new premium patio sites with concrete pads, stone fire pits, recycled plastic ADA picnic tables, grills, and swings.

  • Blacksmithing Demonstrations by Sewardforge

    -

    Open to public. Every second Saturday of the month - April 8, May 13, June 10, July 8, August 19, Sept 9, October 14, November 11, December 9, 2023 - 12pm-7pm Sewardforge will be here doing blacksmithing demonstrations and selling their fire forged wares. They primarily run a coal forge using traditional techniques with traditional tools. Their period of blacksmithing interest falls between about 1850-1930s.

  • Free Annual Fall Weekend Events Series benefiting The Salvation Army

    Friday though Sunday - Free Snow Cones with fall flavors, Free Barrel Train Rides, Free Kettle Corn and Candy Corn, Free Golf Cart Ice Cream Treats. Free coffee and donuts. Plus addition Fall Themed stuff. We will be collecting donations for The Salvation Army during this time period.

  • Anvil's Trick or Treat Weekends

    -

    Every Saturday 6-7pm in October starting October 7, there will be Trick or Treating at Anvil. Dates: Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28 Decorate your site and get into the Fall/Halloween Spirit as much as you can! We will be judging and the more that play, the bigger the prize(s)! Top costumes win prizes this year, so dress to impress! Rules for 2023: candy needs to be in individual bags at the end of each site for the children to pick up. No candy buckets this year; have candy on a table or tray.

    Every weekend from Thanksgiving weekend to New Years Eve we are having a site decorating contest for the best Holiday decorated campsites! On Saturday morning we will have free sweet treats from 9-10 am in our General Store. Anvil is going to be beautiful each weekend; you will not want to miss the experience! Decorate your site and get into the Christmas Spirit as much as you can! We will be judging on Saturday evening and the more that play, the bigger the prize(s)!

  • Meet Santa!

    FREE EVENT - OPEN TO PUBLIC December 2023 - Date/Time TBA. Wait until to you see the decorations we have for this event. All of your senses will be in the holiday spirit. Also, we hear it will ❄️🌨️! This event it open to the public. Bring your wish lists and get your Santa pics. Hot Coco and sweets. All free, no ticket needed!
