Great spot! Host were very nice! Bathrooms, clean. ..a bit of a walk for most sites but you just have choose your site as needed. We only stayed one night but it was a good camp for us to chill

Beautiful, clean and friendly

Askew's Landing looks to be a really nice place to stay and camp. My rating is based on our experience after arriving late, approx. 9pm. For some reason we we're unable to get the electrical to work at our assigned campsite. We called the number provided several times, and texted once, but couldn't reach anyone for assistance. We decided to find another site and moved. Which worked out fine. Just a word of warning; the road coming into the park has water on one side and a deep dropoff on the other and can be transitioned by only one vehicle at a time. Lastly, the grounds maintenance crew started working at 0700L. Too early for those folks who are trying to sleep in.

Excellent spot, friendly staff and neighbors. Dog park was perfect, laundry was great, showers clean and pool was accessible when we wanted to go

lots of happy birds in this quiet secluded campground. Very friendly and helpful to provide for your needs; except the pool, was green. I know it’s hard to balance chemicals in heat and rain and public use, but it was hot and would have been in the pool if it wasn’t green. However, shower was very very clean for a camp shower and they were cleaning and putting lots of chemicals in the pool the morning we left. Loved our 2 nights here even though it was very hot. Thankful for electricity and shade.

It was too far off the road for one nite no gravel spots were muddy and one way to enter driving over lake bank very narrow

A very peaceful and relaxing stop on our cross country camping trip. If you're traveling on Route 20 in Mississippi and need a campsite for the night or longer this is the place to stop. Clean, accommodating, peaceful, beautiful scenery & convenient to get to.

We stopped here as a 1st pit stop on our way out to Zion National in Utah. We stayed two nights because this camp ground was so peaceful and scenic. Our site was 72, right on the lake, and tucked away on a point on the lake. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Store is charming. Friendly staff.

I've been disappointed in some campgrounds that look promising but was pleasantly surprised at this one. We have added it to our rotation. It was clean, well maintained, owners were pleasant. When we are in the area we will stop again.

Great hosts and spacious campsite. Easy to get to off I20.

This was a great overnight stop. The staff does an excellent job keeping everything clean. We were greated in true southern fashion...smiles and laughs for those non southern folks. Super quiet and easy access from I20. We will definitely be back.

The hostess was very accommodating finding us the perfect spot near the lake for our one night stay. We wished we could’ve stayed longer… next time. Individual bathrooms were clean and spacious. The office/store has a nostalgic general store feel. A serene stay surrounded by nature and away from traffic noise. I highly recommend this place. Thank you Askew’s for a lovely evening. We will be back!

I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got to see the campground. I arrived late and was greeted by the camp hosts. They were very friendly and professional. The campground was clean and the variety of site locations was great, they had something for everyone. There are lakefront sites, wooded sites and meadow sites for pull through. I will definitely be back.
